Thank you for showing that area again. My grandmother lived in Three Forks, MT, another 39 miles downstream from Ennis on the Madison, the night of the quake. They had everyone along the Madison on high alert to evacuate in case the slide dam broke through. The ACOE did a fantastic job digging the channel through the slide to get the lake level down and prevent a catastrophe downstream. Survivors of the quake trapped in the canyon went to Hebgen Dam and wrote out SOS in the dirt, eventually to be airlifted out. So violent was the quake that Hebgen Lake and Dam actually tilted several feet, sloshing water from one side to the other like water in a shallow bowl. It overtopped the dam and threatened to take it out, making the threat of downstream flooding even more ominous. There are places where the shore was relocated.... some areas high and dry and others inundated. My grandmother said that night was the scariest night she'd ever had. Your travels to familiar places hopefully inspire all of us to be better stewards of the land and keep it ready for succeeding generations. Unfortunately at Yellowstone (and many other special places), we're loving it to death. Please keep the pristine nature of your videos at the top of the production list so we can appreciate what we have. And BTW, with RVs, it's ALWAYS something. . . All the best.

When I was visiting Yellowstone to see my daughter, she was working at Mammouth Lodge for the summer of 2002….She was driving my rental car headed south and we came up to a large buffalo in the middle of the road. We were at the front of the line…in a red rental! However, he looked at us and started walking over to our car. He and I made eye contact! Then he walked over to my side and put his huge head in the window and we both stared at each other! His nose was about 5 inches from my face! He was very calm and I told him he was very beautiful! My daughter did not speak or make any sudden moves! He stayed there in my window for about 3 minutes! I was so thrilled of this encounter! The he walked back to the center of the road and called to his ladies! There must have been over 30 ladies and their babies crossing the road from the wooded area and over to the huge pasture / savannah area! That was a one of a kind, never to be experienced again! I SMELLED HIS BREATH! He was very respectful and I was in awe! I really wanted to touch him, but, thought that may not be a good idea. That was the highlight of my whole life! 😱 🫣 🥰

I am a first responder with two young children and the last few years have been perticularly difficult. This spring I was diagnosed with anxiety and have chosen to not use medication rather train myself to relax and take time to reflect and it's helping immensely. My wife and I bought a Salem FSX 177BH and have taken to camping with our kids. I am sooo glad I found your channel and I have watched all your videos since you bought the trailer. I can literally feel the stress melting off me while watching your videos. I love your adventures and please keep up the great work. Best of luck and you have a subscriber in me now!

Catherine. You are a caring, introspective, good natured Soul who creates these wonder "full" videos. I so appreciate all you do for your viewing audience. I too lived through the 1994 Northridge quake and that was the last straw for me. I finally moved to western Washington State into a rural town and have lived in bliss for the next 17 years here until this place too became gentrified. Excellent content. Thank you. A+

Some people think that just because you live in a RV and travel that life is just one big vacation. As you showed here it isn't. There are still those details that have to be taken care of. Seeing the Bison and Elk was just amazing. Have a wonderful week.

Never been THAT close to a BIG OLE Bison! The Eagles hunting and perching was very cool. Living on the CA central coast being in rain and thunder was pretty sweet.... but that dinner with 'sproutes/etc looked so yummiest! Old friend lives in Absarokee and suffered considerable damage on his ranch, during the river changing course due to the rains/flood. Trailer woes happen to us all. Hang in there. Thank for helping me live vicariously in the wild. Be Careful ans Safe. May God Bless

Just like in a sticks n bricks, home maintenance is just a necessity. Thanks for this gorgeous view into Yellowstone and into life on the road. On my truck cap (a used truck cap), the gaskets around the rear window are leaking, so I’ve ordered a new gasket and will be installing it when it finally arrives. We full-timed in our motorhome for 7 years and now make month or two longer trips in the winter. The only issue we ever had was in Portland Oregon area, someone stole our bikes while we were staying in a trailer park sort of place in the city. Other than that time have never felt unsafe or need to carry a weapon. As Catherine mentioned probably is safer outside a city. Generally folks look out for each other. If have an uncomfortable feeling about some place, move on, you will be mobile. Go for it and good luck.

On the Brussels Sprout question: yes, I often grill them, or bake with onions and a variety of seasonings. One method is to cup up a few slices of bacon, season with salt and pepper, maybe garlic or garlic powder. You can substitute Olive oil and sauté them too. Friends who claim they’d never eat them, say they like them cooked this way.

Yes, your correct Catherine. Things happen and also products not being made as well as years ago makes it hard. Things you buy don’t seem to last or they have problems. I haven’t actually stayed in more than 2 national parks. My favorite camping is in state parks. They are always incredibly beautiful, reasonably priced, include great education opportunities and offer a nice break from off-grid living, given most have either electric and/or water, or both. Plus, they offer hot showers in bath houses, which delays need for dumping and reduces need to tank watch.

Enjoy enjoy the views‼️" Great video. THANKS for sharing.
