Hanuman could never fall unconscious, since he was given the boon by Mahadevi that he could never be hurt by any weapon. Actually, the story of Hanuman's immortality comes from his devotion. Once Hanuman asked Mata Sita why she puts Sindoor on her forehead. When she replied that she puts Sindoor on to signify that she is forever Lord Ram's, Hanuman put Sindoor all over his body, and said that he would too be Lord Ram's forever. Seeing his devotion, Lord Ram gave him the boon that till Ram's name exists, Hanuman shall exist. Thus making Hanuman immortal. Jay Shree Ram.
