But lots of good and necessary legislation hindered, hobbled and destroyed. This is what the MAGA crowd wants. Everyone wants instant everything. Three votes in and the sky is falling. Give me a break! In 1856 the battle for Speaker took nearly two months and 133 votes!

And not long after the US was in the middle of a truly horrific civil war, so great example of how everything is fine in the US "genius". Jim Jordan and all of MAGA denies democracy itself now, having an election denier like Jim Jordan the republican front runner for Speaker isn't a sign of how everything is fine in the US, it's a sign of how close the nation is to ripping itself apart again.

I don’t know about 1856 but in this era with all wars around us is not a time to play games. Jordan is the strongest person to speak for the house today. The States they represented wants Jordan.

@@tin-n-tanDo you think we're really more intellectually advanced than we were in 56? If you do, you're exactly the type of person this news caters to.

How did they NOT go so wrong? 😂 This is evidence that there is still a little bit of sanity in the world. Unfortunately, he got off easy.
