HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!? Sending This HYPER-RARE Lamborghini on the ICE

I never expected the day to go like this! I'm heading to The ICE in St Moritz in my Ferrari SF90, to track down the super exclusive Pagani Codalunga, before finding myself onboard a hyper-rare Lamborghini for some laps on the frozen lake. It can't really get better. What. A. Day!
It's an early start to set off from the Dolomites in Italy, chasing the snow as we make our way across the passes, past the ski resorts, and onwards to St Moritz, Switzerland to attend The ICE for the first time. The miles are quickly building up on my Ferrari SF90 Stradale, armed with roof box and winter tyres, but up to this point we've not yet found significant snow, so the hunt is on!
Things quickly take a bit of a turn when we find ourselves rather stuck behind a bus that's caught up on a narrow part of a mountain pass, with nowhere nearly enough space for an SF90 to squeeze by. Thankfully we're back on the road and into Switzerland in no time, however things are beyond busy in St Moritz and it's hard to find somewhere to park before we can rush into the event for the action to unfold.
Taking a quick look around, there are some very special things to say; my friends from Mercedes-Benz Classic have brought the C111 and 300SLS, Maserati are a sponsor of the event and have the new GranTurismo on show for me to see for the first time. However, I'm quickly jumping onboard something for the most ridiculous of ride experiences!
Thanks to Lamborghini Polo Storico, and the very kind owner of this particular car, come along with me for a ride in a Lamborghini Miura Millechiodi (Thousand spikes); a P400S that's been enlarged to 4.1l and has bodywork very much styled after the design of the Miura Jota, and via Polo Storico, has been authenticated and verified via Lamborghini themselves in terms of the work done to it. The surreal situation I find myself in when we're out on the frozen lake for some laps, and the cars that surround us, takes my breath away.
It's a long day, but an incredible one, packed with things going on; the mountain drive in my SF90, seeing the Codalunga again, taking a first look at the new Maserati GT, and of course hopping onboard the Miura Millechiodi with Frederico - it doesn't get better! It's my first time at The ICE, an absolutely packed event which certainly makes challenges to cover everything for you, but it's been quite the experience.

3:50 Why not do a tour of New England next year as an excuse to hit up a bunch of ski areas? I'd like to see an instructor such as yourself take on Mad River Glen or Wildcat! For driving content, the roads in upstate Vermont around Stowe are pretty unique and not something you see often in America.

Tim…I have been to St Moritz a number of times but not with a super car of course. The Lake looks very soft compared to normal so a lot of bravery out there! I first went there in 1992 when it was seriously cold so the warm temperatures are worrying…how many more ice events will they hold there??? 😬🤔😀 Enjoy every moment Tim…you have a dream lifestyle!

Good to see your car here in St. Moritz this weekend. Obviously putting skis on the roof of your midengined car was quite a popular thing - I saw 4 Ferraris fitted out and a few Lamborghinis. There were probably more interesting cars being driven around town by their owners than out on the lake. The ICE has rapidly turned into quite an event. The first was arguably the best, just a small event with some amazing cars. Then we had a few years where it was stopped (one year at very late notice). Last year was busy and this year they started charging entry. I don't think the cars were any better this year. I went early on Saturday and decided to watch most of the event from my balcony. I remember the day after the first event telling our town president that he should replace some of the horse racing with cars. He thought there wasn't any chance. The ICE is now the biggest event on the lake and last weekend was almost as busy as New Year. Hopefully Ronnie and the team will get a better weekend in the coming years. If you want to visit again then the Bernina hillclimb in September and the events around it are probably my favourites.

One very fun and less known mountain pass in the alps I recommend is the Splügenpass... from Splügen, Switzerland, it goes over the mountain... crazy street and corners.. ends up right at the beginning of lake Como.
