Seriously loved this video. Your guys' chemistry is entertaining. I also think it's very interesting to see the distinction between players who developed their aim in games vs aim trainers. My friend wanted to start playing Valorant with us but he's a long time console player and our friend group rank was already averaging low immortal. Long story short we told him to try aim training so he can catch up to us aim wise and after 4 months he was already able to be compete on the same level as us basically. He timed how long he practiced and it was 420 hours. 😂

the title doesn't match the video. This should be titled "can we guess your voltaic rank based on your gameplay?" I was hoping this video would give me an idea of what voltaic ranks translate to which game ranks, but it didn't so I left a dislike.
@xooks3050 Жыл бұрын
Its comparing how the ranks compare in different games. They cant say different gameplays because the context is lost. What you read was how the ranks translate intp other games ranks.
@Tacet13710 ай бұрын
Cuz those voltaic ranks are totally useless, I was global in csgo, immortal in valo, pred in apex while being voltaic gold. You get better at the aim trainer but the translation to gaming is nearly non existent

Don’t know if this will help but remove binds on aim labs so that you practice clicking buttons on keyboard while aiming. I play claw console aimlabs so I practice clicking x o mainly while aiming. Also play Fortnite so I sort of practice build combos swapping pickaxe builds guns off memory while aiming.

Hi Voltaic, i rly appreciate ur work put towards helping ppl improve aim. I have recently stumbled across a problem. I dont know if i should rest my entire arm rest on desk or let the elbow be off? (consider that im a relatively low sens player)
@VoltaicAim Жыл бұрын
Both are viable ways to play, having your elbow adds more stability, but restricts finer movements/adjustments. However, would recommend to let the elbow off the desk so you have a larger range of motion without restrictions.

@VoltaicAim Жыл бұрын
It wouldn't be much of a guess, since both pinguefy and viscose know Matty, and what rank he is.
@haku1082 Жыл бұрын
I think the idea for content is good but the delivery was slightly missed. One thing is that there was fairly small variance in ranks (only jade master and gm) but also there were people that viscose and pinguefy had prior knowledge or additional information about. For this video to make sense they should be making their decisions based on in-game aim only, not on the name of the person or their desk setup
@pinguefy Жыл бұрын
most of the guesses we did were like that, but not many people below jade submitted (maybe next time?) and these were way more memorable for a vid. almost every time we were within a rank though! i'd also say our prior knowledge of these players did basically nothing for our guesses
@haku1082 Жыл бұрын
@@pinguefy thanks for taking your time to read the comment section and respond - I feel like this is something that happens less and less on yutube so big thumbs up from me. I agree that the earlier guesses were better content overall and more in line of what I expected from the video and after reading my comment again I realized it's mostly a case of mismatched expectations. This is mostly a bit of a for fun exercise rather than a rigorous look into how aim trainers translate into games so I was a bit too swayed by the title and I have no one but myself to blame. Either way well done on the guesses, I would have definitely not performed nearly as well as either of you, even with the background knowledge you had
