I came 3rd out of 30,000, in the Microsoft Office National Championships with the UK and Ireland. As of my amazing achievement, I am now working towards the Microsoft Office Excel Expert Qualification, as a part time online course, for while I am studying Information and Creative Technology at college. I am hoping to reach the international championships next year, as I was in the top 3 this year.

@Cutee Pie This is awesome news! Congrats on earning the MOS Master distinction. Earning the MOS Master distinction is no easy feat. In order to print your certifications, you will want to go to the www.certiport.com website and log in. Then you will want to go to the transcript tab. From there you can access a PDF of all of your certifications. If your address is correct with Certiport, you should receive a printed copy for the MOS Master certification. Congrats again!

If a company insists on excel, the company is sold to other companies or employees leave. Because the data reliability problem is serious and all company data must be accumulated in groupware. But the reality is that they are all scattered. Manpower is not properly utilized due to data requests and provision. So the company has no choice but to be sold to another company. Excel is suitable for accountants who do simple, repetitive tasks.

@Hilton Brooks honestly, I'm not sure. I know that there are some people that sell tutoring services in their local area in these programs and they use their certification credentials to attract clients. As an educator, the majority of my course load over the past five years is teaching MOS certification. In my school district, there are 14 other high schools that have teachers that are doing the same. There are also companies that are looking to hire people with these specific skill sets.

@Miss desire Independence As a teacher, I have a textbook and software that I have access to. Different exams in my opinion require different amounts of preparation. Most people struggle the most with the expert exams and Excel. I’ve used book like MOS Study Guide for Microsoft Excel Exam MO-200: amzn.to/3aXgYYd when I was preparing for the MOS Expert exams. I’ve also used Lynda.com and Udemy.com. The Gmetrix software has been helpful to my students as they prepare for the exam.

I have not heard of them, however, they seem to have a lot of content for Microsoft Office. My reservation would be that the content doesn’t seem to be geared towards the certification exam. If you decide to use that curriculum please make sure to be familiar with the domains of that exam so that you are fully prepared. @Karen Gerber I teach a Microsoft class at a high school. I know that some college offer classes that are geared towards certifications. I'm not sure which certifications you are looking at earning, but I have a few playlist geared toward various Microsoft Office certifications for 2016 and 2019. You could do some self study and use books such as MOS Study Guide for Microsoft Word Exam MO-100: amzn.to/30j4mXI. A valuable program that I have in the classroom in conjunction with a textbook is GMetrix. Nwilla nwilla you earn one certification for Excel and PowerPoint when you pass the exam. The certificates say Microsoft Office Specialist and it lists the program such as Excel Associate for Excel 2019/365 and Office Excel 2016 for the Excel 2016.

@Gadget Review By Vivaan Lal All of the certifications have to be in the same program year. If you earned MOS Associate 2019, Word Expert 2019, and Excel Expert 2019 then you would qualify. If you mixed the certifications between 2016 and 2019, then you will not qualify. The certificate appears fairly quickly after meeting the qualifications.

@Snowwy K The certification is very similar to the GMetrix practice exams. My advice with using GMetrix is try to finish the practice exam in around 25 minutes and to score at least a 900 or better on the exam. If you are able to do that, you should do fairly well on the actual exam.

To obtain your certification: 1) go to www.certiport.com 2) Log in 3) At the top make sure Test Candidate is selected 4) At the top look for My Transcript and click it 5) Click PDF next to your certification.
