How Do I Know If I'm Saved? The Truth!

We know we are chosen when we recognize that God chose us first. Lives are changed when the gospel convicts with the power of the Holy Spirit. God is the one who opens our hearts to his truth. The truth is that through faith in Jesus we become the chosen children of God.
"For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction." 1 THESSALONIANS 1:4-5 NIV

Picking up your cross, was a commandment from Jesus to the "lost sheep of the house of israel" during his EARTHLY ministry BEFORE the cross. The Bible says that all you must do is believe in Jesus Christ. We've all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Jesus loves you, and died on the cross to pay for all of your sins (past, present, and future), was buried and rose again. He says it's a free gift. You just have to accept it by faith. TEENY foil, so when I began my journey with Jesus, I had alot of doubt about being saved as well. But what I later discovered was that I was focusing on my thoughts, not God's thoughts. . See when you focus on ur unredeemed flesh, you can't enjoy your spirit salvation. The fact that you feel bad about sinning is a sign that you are chosen. Think about it... when u sinned for ur own pleasure before u repented, did u have any guilt about it? When u read your bible, pray, and make God first in your life... a few things happen.. God will allow things to happen to you that will make u feel uncomfortable, like be around people u struggle to get along with. Why? Think forgiveness, humility, patience, love for starters. God will give u test along the way to help u achieve to overcome your sinful nature. The devil will try to bug u once in a while. he hates us so he will try to throw a wrench at us. Rejoice at that. It means that he's trying to get u back in sin because you're choosing our heavenly Father and it's burns him up with anger. Sometimes I forget to rejoice in the middle of a test. But this is the melding part that needs to be achieved for you, me and all chosen people to get over ourselves and focus on giving glory to God by putting Him first 100% in everything. And finally, He blesses us when we focus on His agenda and not our own. It's part of your purpose. So continue focusing on Jesus. Big changes will be coming your way. God is my savior when your In high-school you go through lots and I went through a lot. Grades,talking back being disrespectful, stopped giving God thanks. And I realized all of that was the devil holding me back my breaking point hot when he started attacking my family I remember I started crying and asked God for forgiveness and that I would do better not to just keep the devil away but get my self on the path of God again I pray everyday and my Life has been better I'm in AP classes and joined a club called avid in my state life is better then what it was and everytime I sin I get this feeling uncomfortable feeling that I must make it right. I would only add that just as in John 3:16, the keyword here is "believe". Believing in Jesus is much more than believing he exists or even that his words are true. This is not enough, and not what is being asked of us here. It is asking us to accept the truth for ourselves and live accordingly... If our belief in him is leading us towards a progressively sinless life then by the very words of the bible, we are saved. Have faith, it works!

Changed life and repenting of sins is a sign you are following Christ. It doesn't prove your salvation. Our salvation has NOTHING to do with us. God is the one who gets ALL the glory, because Jesus Christ did all the work for us. Wicked people like JW, Mormons and Muslims can all live a changed life. JW and Mormons even claim to believe in Jesus Christ. One look at their "changed life" you would conclude they're saved, but they aren't, because they have trusted in JESUS CHRIST ALONE. An unsaved person is dead in their sins. They can try to reform their flesh all they want, but they still lack a new birth.

I have repented and believed in Jesus I no longer want to sin and when I do I feel awful even when a swear word pops out my mouth but at the same time something doesn't feel right I feel disconnected and I cant stop trying to perform even though I know thats wrong and we are to trust in Jesus I trust in Him but I always try to do things in my own power :/

A changed life is not symbolic of salvation. Jehova Witnesses who deny Jesus Christ and even some Mormons and Muslims can live a nice, peaceful life and do many good things. Even the ministers of satan transform themselves into angels of light, 2 Cor 11:14. What makes a person a Christian is the shed blood of Jesus Christ...one believing that Jesus Christ died for THEIR sins according to the scriptures, was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures.

I willfully sinned for whatever reason. I took advantage of God's Grace and I tell you, it wasnt even a bad sin but for me, I can't do secular tv anymore because its bad for my spirit. Well I watched one of my showed and i tell you, i could feel the separation from God as though He wasnt happy. Paul says we are dead to sin so why should we keep doing it willfully. God won't let willful sin go unnoticed He convicts and chastens us. now tv isnt a sin in and of itself but for me it doesnt sit well with my conscience so i dont really watch it. but we are all different

There are three kinds of people!! One is charge with the crimes of breaking God laws!! He is escorted into the presence of God , the Judge!! The Judge ask him whether he has a lawyer to represent him!! But he doesn’t need one !! He cares nothing about his crimes nor did he feel any guilt !! He doesn’t care about sins in his life nor did he care about anything of God!! The judge found him guilty for breaking God’s laws and sentence him to eternal separation!! The second kind came before the God and told God, Lord I have made many mistakes in life and I have done many wrongs BUT ever since I try my best to live right for you !! I try to do good!! I attended church !! I became a member!! I took my children to Sunday schools and I try my best to keep your laws! By my conscience of right and wrong, I depend and trust in my work to do good and receive forgiveness from you!! I believe that based on my performance in life of good things, you would accept me and pardon my past and future sins! God ask , did you seek a lawyer to represent you ?? The man say no God, I figure I represent myself because I have change and started to live right!! God reply ... As much as I would like to pardon you , I cannot!! You have broken my laws and is guilty !! You have no one to represent you !! No matter how good you change , you cannot undo the laws you have broken nor can you be pardon!! Only through the shredding of innocent blood 🩸 can I pardon you !! You are wrong in believing and trusting in your own goodness to be pardon!! You have not received and trust my offer of grace to saved you !! You are still guilty and I sentence you to eternal separation!! The Third kind came before the Judge !! He would not look upon the judge face!! God say ... I see you have someone to represent you as your lawyer!! The man say yes ... your honor!! I am guilty for breaking your laws in life and I deserve my punishment!! But I have heard of a lawyer name Jesus that could represent me and offer me a plea bargain and pardon my crimes!! Your Honor, you have made a time period of your mercy and grace , and provided forgiveness to all criminals to want pardon!! The Judge reply ... yes I have!! I gave the nation a grace period to have a lawyer name Jesus that can plea on their behalf for pardon!! God say .. I have see you have taken and received my offer !! Jesus the lawyer approach the Judge and say.. yes this man had come to me for forgiveness and pardon for his crimes!! The Judge to Jesus can you explain why he will be pardon!! Jesus Turns to the man and say... I have took the punishment for you breaking God laws !! I became the criminal and took your spot !! I was punished for your crimes and sins !! My plea bargain is my blood 🩸!! Only through the shedding of my blood can you be forgiven for breaking God laws! I die in your place for you and I was resurrected to give you eternal life as oppose to eternal separation ! My blood is more than enough to forgive and pardon you !! You are not guilty nor is you condemn by my laws!! God say... I am a Just and Holy God!! I must punish sin and crimes for breaking my laws!! But I am also Gracious and merciful!! I have given the nation a grace period to be forgiven to all who accept and receive my Grace!! I am a Just Judge!! At the same time I justified those that receive my offer through Jesus!! You are pardon by my mercy and grace !! YOU ARE JUSTIFIED BY MY GRACE THROUGH YOUR FAITH IN MY BLOOD 🩸 THAT WAS SHED FOR YOU!! YOU ARE SAVED BY TRUSTING IN MY BLOOD ATONEMENT !! I find you not guilty in my courtroom!! We as true believers saved by the grace of our Lord Jesus , knows that we are SAVED BY TRUSTING IN JESUS BLOOD ! WITHOUT BLOOD SACRIFICE THERE IS NO SALVATION!🩸!! Only through blood 🩸 can sins be forgiven!! The gospel is... that Christ die for our sins according to scripture and that he rose on the third day!! His DEATH and BLOOD is our forgiveness and salvation. His resurrection is our eternal life!! We are baptized into his death , burial and resurrection!! We are united in Him, by Him, and through Him!! We are in Christ!! Christ in you , the hope of glory!! The mystery of the body of Christ and the mystery of godliness!! We as believers are under a law!! But it is not the same law that false teachers and pastors are teaching now a day!! They are not teachers of the gospel of Jesus Christ reveal to Paul!! They are teaching another gospel!! Let them be cursed!! We as believers are still under a LAW!! But it is the LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS!! The law of faith ! The law of grace!! The law of the spirit of life has set me FREE from the law of sin and death!! When a person believes and receive the Holy Spirit, they come under a NEW LAW!! It is the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus!! This Laws work for us to empower us by the Spirit to produce fruits of life not works of death ( sins) The old law of sin and death held us in bondage to produce sins !! It’s call the passion of sin working in our flesh under this law because it’s a curse!! But our new Law of the Spirit produces passions of love for God and others automatically because of this Law!! This law of Grace!! We have to obey the law of Faith!! The more we believe what God say, the more joyful and productive we become!! This is our Christians duty!! To Hope , to believe and to love with TRUTH!! Truth has to be the Foundation for Hope , faith and love!! God Words are Truth! Millions do not know the Word of God and cannot RIGHTLY DIVIDE the words of God !! Why??? Because they don’t have the Holy Spirit of Truth!! Satan transform himself into an angel of light ( God) it would be normals that he would have used people as minsters ( teachers or pastors) of unrighteousness teaching false doctrines!! Seducing doctrine mix with a little truth and error!! Many denomination coming in the name of Jesus are teaching another gospel and doctrine of demons and traditions of men!! Be careful of false doctrines and apostasy!! Apostasy is the falling away from the the message of the Gospel of Grace !! It is teaching and believing ANOTHER GOSPEL other than the only Gospel of Jesus which is Salvation by Faith alone!! Believing in the finished Work of Jesus!! Without the Holy Spirit man is deceived !! No matter how intelligent or wise they think, they will be deceived and confused ! We do good works because the Holy Spirit lives in us!! He produces desires and fruits of his Spirit!! It is the fruits of the Spirit not our fruits!! The Holy Spirit heart ❤️ and our hearts become one united together by Love!! Jesus blood 🩸 mad that unity possible in our spirit!! The Bible say if we believe, we have the witness of the Spirit in our hearts!! This means there are three life changing principles in the Christian life!! First is God FACTS ! Secondly is our FAITH and Third is our FEELINGS!! God Words are FACTS!! 1) God Promises = This is my FACTS! 2) I believe = This is my faith 3) God fullfilled it and I ENJOY it= This is my FEELINGS. God order is always 1) FACTS. 2) FAITH. 3) FEELINGS. FACTS forms the foundation; faith rest on it; feeling comes last!! Most of us put FEELINGS FIRST!! God salvation is here!! But because we have free will , God cannot force us to believe in His Gospel!! When we BELIEVE what God say, we get SAVED by God!! Faith is not what saved us!! It is the means by which God save us!! When we believe , we have the witness of the Holy Spirit within us of what God say!! If God say by believing and receiving Jesus we becomes the sons of God, then it is 100 % a Facts!! We believe that and our feeling of Joy is experience in our hearts!! We at times may not FEEL saved but we are not saved by our feeling but by God FACTS!! We believe and trust what God say we are!! God Facts are God words!! His words are truth !! So We are saved by believing in what God say in the Gospel of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If you confessed the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead to forgive your sins and give you eternal life, then you are SAVED!! Do you believe what God say??? Is God a liar??? Salvation is the greatest and most joyful gifts and experience a person can have but they must understand these life changing orders God gives!! 1) Facts 2 ) faith) 3)feelings!! They comes in those EXACT ORDER! a) God say it b) I believe it c) I then experience it in my heart! When God sealed us with the Holy Spirit, He produces news desires and love for Jesus! We want to please God!! And if we sin, our heart doesn’t feel right because the Holy Spirit lives in us!! So he prompt us to confess those sins because His blood 🩸 covers all sins for all times!! But here is the kicker!! We don’t desires to live a sinful life!! The attraction to live a life of sin is diminishing little by little!! Another Word , without Believing the gospel of Jesus Christ, we will not be given the Holy Spirit!! Then we won’t desire the things of God!! So believe in the good news ❤️😊!! We are saved to do good works!! We do not do good works to be saved independently from Jesus !! But that we produce fruits of the Spirit because the Holy Spirit reside in us!! The most liberating message for those that are saved is SONSHIP!! This is your standing and status !! Your new IDENTITY in CHRIST!! You have die with Christ!! All your sins are forgiven and all legal obligations to the law has been canceled by your death!! You have been crucified with Christ!! Now you are marry to a NEW LAW!! It is the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus!! If you do not have genuine faith, you cannot produce good works for Jesus !! Faith without works is dead!! This kind of faith is dead and cannot produce good fruits for Jesus!

This happened with the bible for me. I tried everything everyone taught to no avail but when I finally broke down and saw I had never followed what the teacher taught while he was alive as recorded in Matthew gospel, that was what finally freed me. Once I learned about the 10 commandments and was instructed by Moses and the prophets and realized that Y'hosea/Joshua served with Moses and that is who it is in the matthew gospel also then it came together and I was set on the straight and narrow path opposite of the broadway of the world. I buckled down and gave up my life of sin which is breaking God's commandments and took of the 10 and scrubbed my self clean inside as best as I could and then God came in spirit and showed me what I was hiding still or was no seeing and because I also rid myself of those sins God severed the cord with sin and Satan that poisoned the perfect soul God gave me as he sent me here and from then on I was healed a servant of God sin free, quite the opposite of what I started out as. 😆 You can also come out of it and be God's people, you all of you are most likely Isra'el or Ishma'el and not filthy gentiles who serve Satan, you've been tricked by Paul out of your inheritance. No longer should anyone who wants to serve God alone call themselves a gentile because they are not, only God's people want to obey him, they do not need to be forced. Peace and blessings from God on those who obey 😆 come out of the sin mans religions, worship God alone not the false teachers image created after they murdered the teacher of God's covenant that ends all religions once achieved. Yes he was not a sacrifice to God, he gave his life so they could create the false christ that pounded knowledge of the kne true God into the world, even though it was the tares we were fed for 2000 years the wheat is finally ripe and ready for us to consume, come out of the sins satan has caused you to feeely choose to keep committing. It was your choice to ignore the covenant and obey the sin man who teaches its okay to break the 10 holy commandments, just like satan taught Eve she would not die and she did. The world is an illusion caused to test us all to see who is worthy of eternal life and who will remain in hell.

THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION ✝️❤️🩸 Jesus Christ died on the Cross for your sins he shedded his blood for you. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and by his stripes we are healed. Christ Jesus took the punishment we 100% deserved He died on the cross shedding his blood for you and he (Christ Jesus) was buried and here is the best part he(Christ Jesus)rose from the grave 3 days later defeating death and proved that everything that he(Christ Jesus) said was true and Christ Jesus ascended up to Heaven and is now at the right hand of the father. The Gospel for the New Testament Church is 1 Cor. 15: 1-4 KJV and Romans 3: 25 KJV explains it even further. It's what Christ Jesus did for us that we're saved and it's by faith alone, not works. We're forgiven for all sins by Christ's shed blood. According to the Bible unlike what other Christians be teaching , salvation is by receiving (BY FAITH!!) what Christ Jesus DID on the cross at Calvary, when HE(Christ Jesus) shed his BLOOD to pay for the sins of man. HIS FINISHED WORK, done ONCE AND FOR ALL, is the ONLY THING that can save a Sinner and give him forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Notice that the Gospel is what JESUS DID FOR MAN, and not what MAN CAN DO FOR GOD! A person is only saved by BELIEVING in the finished work of Jesus Christ, when he shed his Precious Blood for our sins. This blood atonement was necessary, for without shedding of blood, there is no remission (Heb. 9:22). God has always demanded blood for sin. WITHOUT SHEDDING OF BLOOD THERE IS NO REMISSION OF SINS!! In the Old Testament, God accepted the blood of a lamb. In the New Testament, God accepts the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the LAMB OF GOD, slain for your sins. Now, to be saved, the Bible clearly teaches us that salvation is by FAITH, without WORKS (Eph. 2:8-9). Faith in what you may ask? FAITH IN THAT SHED BLOOD OF CHRIST JESUS! My mind was brought to Calvinism when you said "God enables you to respond", and that would mean God refuses to let some people respond to Him (yet still inviting them to receive His gift of eternal life), and that doesn't seem to be neither biblical nor logical to my knowledge and understanding. It is rather our responsibility to respond to God, and we do have the ability to do that, we just often choose not to.

Here's one that will bake your noodle.... Todays thought, a friend of mine who has been in church all his life ask this question, "How hard is Salvation" ??? This is still a question many struggle with.... I'm sure we could get many different answers to this question, the religious pharisees back when Jesus walked the streets of Jerusalem had an answer to that question and so they do today as well. Let us go down the rabbit hole a little deeper. I was not raised in Church, never heard the name Jesus until I was twenty four years old. Verbal and physical beatings growing up, i ran away at the age of thirteen, moved in with drug dealers. Jesus found me in a drug infested mess when I was 24 years old. Reading the bible was hard for me, I started out with reading just the red letters, found out later that the red letters was Jesus talking. Religious people would make me think that there was no way that I'd ever be able to measure up. Yes, at first Salvation seemed hard to me. Until one day I discovered the voice of the Holy Spirit. Salvation is a faith choice.... So simple we make it hard. The making salvation hard is a suggested trick of the enemy. Only a substantial suggestion. I used to struggle with this one greatly, thinking there is no way someone as bad as me could ever be saved. ... Then I heard these words in my heart, this has been over thirty years ago, some would say it was just me but I believe it was the voice of Holy Spirit, I heard, "Salvation is as simple as the two thieves on the Cross story" "One thief did not believe that Jesus was who he said he was, The One.... One thief did believe Jesus was who he said he was." The One.... Jesus didn't tell the thief who believed to get down from the Cross, go to church for 30 years, learn to memorize and qoute every scripture and then come back and see me, No, Jesus told him, "This day you will be with me in paradise." We the people complicate Salvation, yet salvation is extremely simple. God sent his only One Son Jesus that ALL could be saved, God meant for everyone to be saved. God wanted it to be simple, the only thing is, God made "Free Will" just as simple. Yes, since we are not on a Cross, God does expect us to grow as his little children, but it never changes the fact that we first simply believe Jesus is who he says he is, The One. Jesus has come to make us one's just like him. If we get out of line, the good Father in heaven, Our Father, he knows how to line us back up, just like we try to do our own children. Just because our children get out of line, don't mean they are no longer our children, remember the story of the Prodigal Son? Speaking of the prodigal Son, Jesus said that he will never leave us or forsake us, yet we can, with our Free Will walk away from him. This is why we have the story of Jesus leaving the ninty nine to go after the one, Jesus didn't leave the one, the one left him. But even when we do walk out of his hand, because we first believed, he will always leave the ninty nine to come find us, The One. Have you walked away before? I have, thank God he came and rescued me, again and again. Lucifer/Satan was once ONE of Gods most choice Angel's, yet Lucifer in his own free will made the choice that he didn't want to come back, he didn't want God to rescue him and sadly, some humans make that same choice. But just like the simplicity of the two thieves on the Cross story, it's a simple choice. God never makes it hard, we do. Don't think you are, know you are, one of the One's. I KNOW I am saved because the Bible (KJV) says, Romand 10:13: "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." I called upon Jesus Christ, admitting that I was a sinner. I asked Jesus Christ to forgive me of my sins and to come into my heart and save me. I told Jesus Christ that I believed he died on the cross for me, that he was buried and rose again. I Thanked Jesus Christ for saving me. I KNOW I am still saved because 1 John 5:11-13: " An this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life, and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Whoa! Time out. I understand and agree it's God that draws us to Himself (Jn. 6:44), and I also understand and agree that it's us that makes the decision from free will to hear to receive His word, that when we confess our sin and repent from them He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness whereby He gives us the Holy Spirit that empower us to do what we could not of and by ourselves. But scripture also says how we know Him (and His power) and love Him is if we keep His commandments, even as it says, "If you love me, keep my commandments" (Jn. 14:15), and, "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and He is the propitiation (mercy seat; atoning sacrifice) for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that says, I know Him, and keeps not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keeps His word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him. He that says he abides in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked." (Emphasis mine) This guy then says he continues to sin. But scripture says, "And every man that has this hope in Him purifies himself, even as He is pure. Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law (Ten Commandments): for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin. Whosoever abides in Him sins not: whosoever sins has not seen Him, neither known Him" (1 Jn. 3:3-6). Since this speaker/teacher admits that he continues to sin (after coming to Christ), then how can He know Him and His power, if he's still sinning? I perceive, which I believe is a correct assessment, that this guy has been taught another gospel, which is not another, and is deceiving many, which is that gospel that most of the church has been persuaded to believe, and are under the influence in thinking to be something they're not (Gal. 6:3).

Abeni Patton: the truth is we all have sinned, not that "we are all sinners," as that connotes we will continue to sin after confessing and repenting from our sins. The latter, which you sadly believe, leads one to think it's a process of sanctification, which is an oxymoron, and a lie. It's not a process to cease from sin, but a decision to come out of it and to be holy, for it says, "Be you holy, for I Am holy (1 Pet. 1:16). Being holy is a good work that WE DO after one has been born again, even as it says: "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves" (James 1:22). To be born again means the old sinful nature has been put to death; that we keep under subjection, as Paul did (1 Cor. 9:27). Or how do you explain these verses away: (2 Corinthians 7:1) "Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." A sinner's prayer, you just have to believe, etc which is not in the bible.The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church.It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Jesus Christ truly loves you. Do you truly love him? Repenting of your sins( turning from your evil way) for salvation is a work. Grace and work don't mix for salvation don't work. It either one or the other (Romans 11:6). Add one work to the gospel meassage , it is no longer grace and cannot save. Repentance( greek: Metanioa a change of mind) used 34 times in regarding salvation. How do I know if I am saved? Read 1 John 5:13. We who believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ alone and trust in Him is saved. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Being dead doesn't mean we can't respond. It means we are dead in our relationship to Christ. We are dead in the sense that we need a savior. If being dead means you can't respond, why would the apostle John use the word believe in his gospel 98 times? I think the heart is what is meant by believing. We also read in James that the demons believe God exists. So it’s beyond just a knowledge of, but a putting your faith in. Which can be seen in our actions. That’s why faith without works is dead, because it means it isn’t genuine.

Anything written from Romans through the rest of the Bible including the book of Revelation were letters written by different apostles to those already saved. What confuses some people is the chapters and verses which were added later for an easier time of finding a specific passage of scripture. Since these are letters they should be written as such starting from verse one of chapter one. BUT if you aren’t saved you won’t be able to understand it and will think it means one thing when it means something else. Take Romans 10:9 Paul was telling the saints that Christ died and rose again for the mistakes they made after being born again as well and all they needed to do was to confess and repent (repent means to turn from and never do it again). Or take Colossians 3:12, this was written to those ALREADY SAVED. Now you might ask , how? Have you ever seen the marines commercial that says, “ the few, the proud, the chosen?” They call themselves, “the chosen,” but if they had of never went to the marines office and signed up they could have sat at home all they wanted talking about how they were marines now and the marines would have NEVER recognized them because they never came and signed up to become an official Marine. You have to be saved become born again to become one of the CHOSEN.See the thing is GOD calls every human being to repentance until the day they die. If they never answer His call they will never be saved or chosen for that matter just as no one will ever be a Marine unless they go and sign up. So how to become saved and chosen? Paul told the disciples of John the Baptist this in Acts 19:1-6, “ And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, he said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? That’s awesome! I’m in the same boat with you. I no longer smoke, listen to the music I used to and have stopped other various sins I was doing. It’s definitely a slow process but I’m loving it. My wife recently got saved in 2018 and I can see the process of sanctification working in her as well.

ok i have a problem i feel like im saved, but i dont feel bad when i sin. if you asked most people i am very nice, i have repetitive sins like lust that i (a teenage boy) dont think that i could overcome. i understand the trinity and i like to feel like i put my trust in jesus. i guess my question is hard to put in words but how do i get to that place that im 100 percent sure im saved?

Thanks for being brave enough to open up, Jacob Brunberg ! Don't worry about trying to be perfect. Instead, spend your time & energy loving God and loving others. School is probably a big part of your life right now, but besides that, what do you spend your time on? What do you spend your money on? What do you spend time thinking about? Jesus said (Luke 6:43-45) that a good tree will produce good fruit and a bad tree will produce bad fruit. What is in our hearts will come out through our thoughts and actions. If you truly want to follow Jesus, then make him the priority in your life. Reading the Bible, praying, being part of a church- these are ways you can grow closer to God. They won't MAKE you saved. They are things you will WANT to do if you are really serious about following Jesus. You are saved if you put your trust in the death, burial and ressurection of JESUS, who rose the 3rd day, to save you from your sins. You are a sinner and JESUS died for you because you could not ever life the perfect life, as JESUS did. Thst is why the gospel is good news. Salvation is based on trusting on JESUS alone to save you and not you trying to be good enough. 1 Cor 15.

I’ve accepted Jesus as my lord and savior and asked him to come into my heart but I haven’t had the “born again experience” like nothing really happened like isn’t something supernatural supposed to happen when you’re born through the spirit of god ?? Because I’ve seen a lot of people’s testimonies where they literally get thrown across rooms and then they’re sobbing uncontrollably after they receive the Holy Spirit but I don’t feel different... someone help me out please

As we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior we have the holy Spirit with us to guide us but being born again and having that experience doesnt happen over night slowly God changes us , and if we seek and ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit its his promise to us who believe.

THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION ✝️❤️🩸 Jesus Christ died on the Cross for your sins he shedded his blood for you. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and by his stripes we are healed. According to the Bible unlike what other Christians be teaching , salvation is by receiving (BY FAITH!!) what Christ Jesus DID on the cross at Calvary, when HE(Christ Jesus) shed his BLOOD to pay for the sins of man. HIS FINISHED WORK, done ONCE AND FOR ALL, is the ONLY THING that can save a Sinner and give him forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Notice that the Gospel is what JESUS DID FOR MAN, and not what MAN CAN DO FOR GOD! A person is only saved by BELIEVING in the finished work of Jesus Christ, when he shed his Precious Blood for our sins. This blood atonement was necessary, for without shedding of blood, there is no remission (Heb. 9:22). God has always demanded blood for sin. WITHOUT SHEDDING OF BLOOD THERE IS NO REMISSION OF SINS!! In the Old Testament, God accepted the blood of a lamb. In the New Testament, God accepts the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the LAMB OF GOD, slain for your sins. Now, to be saved, the Bible clearly teaches us that salvation is by FAITH, without WORKS (Eph. 2:8-9). Faith in what you may ask? FAITH IN THAT SHED BLOOD OF CHRIST JESUS! When a sinner is saved, he cannot and will not ever boast about himself or his works. Belief has nothing whatsoever to do with Salvation! You cannot 'believe' your way into Heaven! How Do I Know If I'm Saved? The Truth! ~~~ If you are Saved/Enlightened/Mystic, you are already in Heaven. You would know if you are in Heaven, beyond a doubt! If you are not in Heaven, you are unSaved and already in Hell! Others will recognize your Salvation/Enlightenment thusly; Anyone can be 'Saved/Enlightened'!; "Born again" into the state of Unconditional Love = Salvation = Enlightenment = Heaven = Immortality = One with God! Unconditional Love is ALWAYS Known by It's Unconditional Virtues; Compassion, Empathy, Sympathy, Gratitude, Humility, Charity (Charity is never taking more than your share of anything, ever!), Honesty, Happiness, Faith... ALWAYS!

Completely skip the fact Ephesians 1:13-14 lays out plainly the order of salvation. Completely skip the message that has the power of God to save. Taking our eyes off the cross, not trusting in the one who tasted death for every man, who was the propitiation for the sins of the whole world, who bought eternal redemption for all those who believe. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. See that you are saved by grace through faith, not by faith. Faith is only the mechanism to the object of faith that truly can save. The lord Jesus Christ, the savior, even to those false prophet who denie him.

I feel a problem I am baptised when I was a baby and I still sin today especially lust (im13). I believe in our Lord Jesus Christ that he died for us and rose from the dead 3 days later, the bible said to believe in him and you will be saved, but here's the catch, I feel like I'm going to hell for sinning because I sin everyday, because every time in gym class, I play and talk to my friends but for some reason those girls are in the way and they are wearing really short shorts and it disgust me, is this sinning, does this count as sinning?

+____________________Ken hi, im 18 years old and i strugle the same way you do, you and i deserve hell because sin is not allowed in heaven, think about it like this: when someone goes to court for stealing thousands of dollars there's a price he has to pay for his wrong doings, the price is jail time. A friend of his comes and offers to bail him out of jail, but the theif says no! i want to pay the price myself! i don't need your help! well that's exactly what Jesus is doing, he's offering to bail you out from your way to hell, he already paid the price of sin wich is death. the only thing you have to do is accept his gift of eternal life by trusting Jesus as your Savior.
