We are all unworthy, read the whole chapter of Romans chapter 3 my friend. I believe in Jesus and the Gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. 8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time." KJV. I know more and more each day how I'm unworthy but I'm thankful for God's gift. God loves us. Read John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." KJV. Also Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." KJV. Now read the next set of verses Romans 5:9- 11 "9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement." I know that everyone would rather go to Heaven, but we all need to Examine outself to see if we are truly in The Faith; because God will Judge our Thoughts, Motives & Actions. My moment of Truth came when I came across the verse in the Bible that scared the Hell straight out of me. 1st JOHN 3:9-10 says: 9. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them, they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10. This is how we KNOW who the children of God are and who the children of the Devil are!!!! I went to Church for 50, so I thought I was saved, but I was living as a Hypocrite by Willfully Sinned Every Single Day. My entire family and I grew up Catholic. They were all just as sinful as I was because we were told to trust in Purgatory. I used to be a homeless, suicidal, drug-addicted, murdering, gay prostitute, that was kidnapped for sex trafficking, so I had four multiple personality disorders. When I was rescued I was forced to have an Abortion that was botched and it required 3 follow-up surgeries and I've never been able to have children again. After that I started attending " Christian Churches " that were all just as bad. Then 5 years ago I found out that It only takes "One Day to Listen to the New Testament Bible, so for the last 5 years I have been reading my Bible from cover to cover every month. There is not even a hint of Purgatory mentioned in it! It's devastating to realize that my entire family went or is going to Hell. I try to warn people to turn from sin and I offer them a list of 182 other N.T. verses that are like 1st John 3, but they primarily reject the Words of the Bible and would rather trust the lies that their Church is teaching them that keeps them Lukewarm: Rev 3:16. I was finally saved when I finally Surrendered my Entire Life on AUG 10, 2017. The Greatest Commandment is to Love the Lord your God with ALL your heart ALL your mind ALL your soul and ALL your strength, so if we Don't Want to Worship Jesus 100% Now, God Will Not let us Worship Jesus Forever. The BIBLE is God's: Basic - Instructions - Before - Leaving - Earth. I quit my job to live off my 401K as a Minimalist, and I got rid of every distraction to simplify my life and follow solely after Jesus, because I want to be counted as one of the 5 Wise Virgins (Matt 25). What good is it to gain the whole world and sacrifice your Eternal Soul? There's a KZbin channel called Bible study 101 that does a teaching every night about living a sinless life. You will never hear that taught in the church.. in fact quite the opposite! In my opinion, those who know they are truly unworthy of salvation are the ones who appreciate it the most. The mere thought of sinning breaks me because I know it disappoints my Creator and is contrary to his will for my life. I strive to uphold his commandments and will for my life out of respect and reverence. It doesn’t sit well with me when I hear someone minimize sin by saying “well I’m saved so I will just ask for forgiveness and hope he gives it”.

I sinned before and didn’t feel a thing, I knew it was wrong and repented from the sin, after a month I’ve been tempted and almost fell into that sin again, but I couldn’t control my thoughts and in my mind I hear “put that down” and I did. I think it’s Gods Holy Spirit telling me not to sin. I’m grateful I haven’t done it and haven’t been tempted by it in a while

When I just talk to Him throughout the day like my Father and Friend it's rich and meaningful! The Lord says" pray always lest you fall into temptation" the Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Walk in the Spirit and you will not fufill the lust of the flesh. Get alone with God every morning before the sun comes up. Cleave to the Lord. Chase after Him with violence, no matter what, your life depends on it.

@@BornAgainCarnivore I don't mean it like you are thinking, no, look what our Lord says; And from the days of John the Baptist UNTIL NOW the Kingdom of Heaven sufferers violence, and the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:12. This simply means that you will stop at nothing to get into the Kingdom. When you are running to win a prize, you will go all out. People will think that you are exaggerating or that you are obsessed with God, but don't pay them any mind. The people of this world seek riches and wealth with such eagerness, and are you going to seek the Lord Almighty with slothfulness? He is far beyond the greatest treasure of this life 💕 The kingdom of God is that precious pearl, hidden, hard to find. You must dig deep. Look at the sermon from Christopher Love called" taking the Kingdom bye violence" what are Blessing it was for me!!!

I would also add, the topic of your prayers. If they are all about what you are wanting in your life you are missing the first part of the Lord’s Prayer. Just something God put on my heart. I think another part of prayer life that should be included too but not emphasized enough is thinking about and praying for the needs and struggles of others besides ourselves, including our most bitter enemies and rivalries.

I can never get enough of Jesus. And my prayer life is always asking yah to change me, transform me, make me brave Luke a lion, to keep my heart warm, to help me over come sin and flesh. I still struggle getting over sins. But it's not like I don't have victories. I have many and that's thanks 98% jesus and 2% effort from me. I love you Jesus, yahuah, and the holy spirit I need the whole godhead to remind me of the word (jesus) and disapline from YAH or the father daily. I give myself as a living scarfice everyday. I tell yah to take complete control over my life and guide/use/put me where he wants me to be. I take God plan and will over my own daily. I am content to know I am not lukewarm but I've had moments when I was. God would open my eyes and humble my heart to snap back to reality and run back into his arms.

For many years I forsaked our God of all creation, and as I've recently began my journey of faith, I pray to the Lord Jesus Christ and ask for the wisdom and the strength to continually build my faith and reject the lures of this world. I used to think I was so smart and knew better than everybody else. I had the "log in my own eye" and upon removing it, I realized I am no better than my fellow brother or sister but just as much of a sinner, if not more, than they. I have greatly sinned against God and I beg for his forgiveness. I desire to worship him and please him by doing the will of God in heaven. Please pray for me that I may never be lukewarm but that I may always approach my salvation with fear and trembling before the Lord Jesus Christ. I was baptized and for years I fell into sin and didn’t live a Christian life and at one point even thought that he’ll just forgive me. I got to a point to where I might as well not believed and so became scared of death of living and I have come back never again will I let myself fall I will trust in the lord the one most high and the king of kings. Absence of repentance. The lack of humility in helping to serve the brethren in a way that is holy. For what do light and dark have in common. You should absolutely in these times still outwardly represent the body of Christ. And not succumb to materialism. Therefore, I am glad God made me poor for many years with missing teeth, so that a perfect smile and wealth do not become a representation of who Jesus is. So that I had a chance to learn to dress plainly and not adorn myself with outward pride. Because pride comes before the fall. We ought to all humble ourselves, because the meek inherit the kingdom. We should be so careful that we cause no brother or sister to fall into temptation. No gossipers, slanderers (that includes any trash talk against another person ‘period’ there is not exceptions), adulterers (those who are lustful with their eyes count) will will inherit the Kingdom. Do you take this seriously?! Please do ask yourselves. Do you love your neighbor enough to not be a cause for their sin?

"They do not realize that they are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked." ( "our self righteousness are as filthy rags" Isaiah 64:6) But praise God! He is just, loving, merciful, and not condemning those who are saved by HIS WORKS and GRACE!. verse 18. "buy from me gold" signifies redemption, salvation that is purely refined on the cross, so we can benefit the full sonship and clothed us righteousness through the blood of JESUS CHRIST our LORD that covers us from our shameful unrighteousness in the eyes of GOD. Lukewarm is a mixture of hot and cold water. In Biblical perspective, you cannot stitched together the old wineskin to new wineskin, it will burst, likewise Ananias "Grace" Sapphira "Law" both died. Mixture of LAW and GRACE is the "Lukewarm" teaching/practice or church norm. NOT a "lukewarm believer" You are not the lukewarm here, definitely it's not you! To the Church in Laodicea " So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth." To the churches who teach mixture of LAW and GRACE. I hope this may remind everyone of us here, WE ARE LOVE! BY HIM! and we can return to His full GRACE anytime! not to lukewarm teaching. Verse 19. Those whom I LOVE I rebuke and discipline. I sometimes have trouble eating. I sometimes have to remind myself to get something, because I know it's good for me. Sometimes my health will make it harder to eat. Food, thankfully, can be passed up on now and then. Sometimes it's wise to do. It's not so with prayer. Sometimes I have trouble: sometimes I have temptations to 'cut it shorter' or sometimes it starts to feel like it drags on. When such temptations visit you, 'push through' - you need Him. He is worth it, and that time is worth it. Unlike with food, it is not worth it to 'pass up' on prayer time. Make up for it if you miss it, and (a rule I picked up from Living Waters), seek to have your Bible reading and morning prayer *before* you eat. And pray without ceasing: God is the source of life, and prayer is how you speak to Him. Don't cut yourself off from living.

I know that everyone would rather go to Heaven, but we all need to Examine outself to see if we are truly in The Faith; because God will Judge our Thoughts, Motives & Actions. My moment of Truth came when I came across the verse in the Bible that scared the Hell straight out of me. 1st JOHN 3:9-10 says: 9. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them, they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10. This is how we KNOW who the children of God are and who the children of the Devil are!!!! I went to Church for 50, so I thought I was saved, but I was living as a Hypocrite by Willfully Sinned Every Single Day. My entire family and I grew up Catholic. They were all just as sinful as I was because we were told to trust in Purgatory. I used to be a homeless, suicidal, drug-addicted, murdering, gay prostitute, that was kidnapped for sex trafficking, so I had four multiple personality disorders. When I was rescued I was forced to have an Abortion that was botched and it required 3 follow-up surgeries and I've never been able to have children again. After that I started attending " Christian Churches " that were all just as bad. Then 5 years ago I found out that It only takes "One Day to Listen to the New Testament Bible, so for the last 5 years I have been reading my Bible from cover to cover every month. There is not even a hint of Purgatory mentioned in it! It's devastating to realize that my entire family went or is going to Hell. I try to warn people to turn from sin and I offer them a list of 182 other N.T. verses that are like 1st John 3, but they primarily reject the Words of the Bible and would rather trust the lies that their Church is teaching them that keeps them Lukewarm: Rev 3:16. I was finally saved when I finally Surrendered my Entire Life on AUG 10, 2017. The Greatest Commandment is to Love the Lord your God with ALL your heart ALL your mind ALL your soul and ALL your strength, so if we Don't Want to Worship Jesus 100% Now, God Will Not let us Worship Jesus Forever. The BIBLE is God's: Basic - Instructions - Before - Leaving - Earth. I quit my job to live off my 401K as a Minimalist, and I got rid of every distraction to simplify my life and follow solely after Jesus, because I want to be counted as one of the 5 Wise Virgins (Matt 25). What good is it to gain the whole world and sacrifice your Eternal Soul? There's a KZbin channel called Bible study 101 that does a teaching every night about living a sinless life. Guys I’ve been praying everyday while I’m eating and giving thanks to him and some other times for my family to be saved since I’m afraid for them and myself to end up in eternal fire, I even watch a series of the Bible to understand better. I also play video games a bit too much but I’m not addicted to it since sometimes I have nothing else to do. I only go to college and help my mother what she needs etc. The thing is I don’t know if my life is going ok, one thing for sure is that I’m not like I used to be before.

I have seen in my life a path that I have been going on and it is the lukewarm path.I have sinned and it only gets worse and worse I have not done as I should but God is good and he has warned me of my lukewarm living.I desire more to live for him and not for me.To grow in relationship with him and to deepen my faith in him.Lord increase my faith and help me with my unbelief!I pray that for anyone lukewarm here may be changed and that they desire Godly things more and more.Pray more and read bible more to fellowship more to alwasy desire the fullness of Christ in their lives.I pray that for myself to may God be with us and help us in our time of need.He is merciful and slow to anger...He has not given up on us lukewarm christians but he love us still.Amen

So, if this were really so, that in spite of His will, people will be brought forever to hell and not saved, this would mean that He can not enforce His will and thus He is not the omnipotent God, if we follow these doctrines believe. - Why does it say in some passages that Jesus is the Son of God, in others the Son of Man and in others that He and God are one? Although I kept going to the Catholic Mass, at home I no longer practiced the prayers of the catholic church, but started talking like a child to my Father (Matthew 6: 7 + 8 ). After a short while, I got the answer to everything. He guided me through a friend of my mother to the revelations of Bertha Dudde. Now I know that the Bible does not contradict itself. Pastor Joseph Prince teaches that the meaning of ' Lukewarm' in the Laedocian Church was actually referring to the fact that historically they were trying to mix the old Covenant of the Law with the new Covenant of Grace. They were neither all for keeping the Law (of Moses) or all for accepting Grace (God's undeserved favor thru Jesus's sacrifice), so God was saying, I would rather you were all one way or all the other way (hot or cold) but instead you are a mixture (Lukewarm)! It is impossible to successfully live by a mix of the two Covenants, because one (Mosaic Covenant) puts all the emphasis on man's efforts to earn God's Blessings etc & the other (The New Covenant of Grace) they are received by faith (& not by man's efforts). We have all now been saved by the undeserved Favor of God, not by our efforts at all, or keeping the law or trying to be 'good'. We, like them, also need to wake up & accept that it's not our 'good works' that have saved us & we can't do anything to improve on what Jesus did for us on our behalf. Jesus's perfect Blood sacrifice cancelled our sins completely & made us 100% acceptable to God. No matter what we do or don't do, nothing can change that fact in our lives, if we have accepted the free gift of God's Forgiveness & Acceptance. There is now no condemnation when we mess up, Jesus has taken away our guilt & sin! Here are my thoughts about this. While I agree that we must pray, I believe that God doesn't need some very long winded prayer that could have been summed up in a few sentences. The bible says to pray without ceasing. I believe this means our hearts should constantly be directed towards Him. Am I wrong for not making some long winded speech to God and calling it prayer, but instead choose to pray him the thoughts that come to mind and only then phrase actual words to Him? I try to always focus my thoughts on Him, I consider this to be prayer. Is that wrong? Anyway, this is just my thoughts on this. This sermon definitely made me feel a bit guilty but I don't know why. I try to be honest with God and only pray when I feel I have something truthful to say. Or ask. Or wonder. Anyway, these are just my thoughts.

Prayer is making time with God. The more we desire something the more we as humans tend to consume ourselves with those desires. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Delight yourself in the Lord, and once we do this, we will find ourselves consumed with more and more of him. Prayer is the desire to be close to him.

That's what I'm thinking. I thought God just wants us to be honest when we pray and pour all our hearts into our prayers, not say some 1 hour paragraph that will eventually sound fake and not even honest. Just sounds like you're trying to just add random stuff to make them long.

This is what I don’t get. One minute he says that all that is required to be saved is belief in Jesus Christ and died on the cross not by good works so no man can boast, but then says if you’re luke warm he’ll spit you out. I sun everyday. I fall into addictions I can’t get out of, I’m not satisfied but I also know there is no way in hell if I died today I would go to heaven. Because oh no not every thing I watch or listen to, or talk about is about Christianity, but I didn’t make me, God did, so does he make people to be doomed? I need help.

So based on this passage from Revelation 3 one of two things can be implied: 1. Either a Christian can lose his salvation or 2. This passage is referring to unsaved members within a church. Personally I tend to agree with Francis Chan who believes this passage isn't referring to authentic believers. To be spat out/vomited out, wretched, naked, blind and poor isn't the kind of language that would be used of those genuinely purchased by the blood of Christ, transformed and sanctified by Christ's atoning work. It's a pity Piper didn't address the theological implications of what he said here.
