Try fasting, fasting is the way to humble ourselves. And ask God to guide you, i dont know what things that happen to you that harden you heart, but if you want to share a little bit maybe i could help talking about it I used to have a heart that like a stone, i running out from God as best as i could, but He keep chasing me, until i really surrender to Him, it's 14 years of bitterness (if include my life before knowing Christianity almost 18 years) I used to hate God too because i feel He is dont care about me, He is kind to anyone else but not me, He dont love me and He is unfair Even hearing someone using God name brought so much hatred from me, but wherever i go, i keep seeing a Christian people

Then go back to him and stay. Remain in him and he will remain in you. Change your ways, delete social medias, twitter, dont want secular musics or listen to depressing songs. Read your bible. Talk to God more. Ask for help and he will lead you the way. Nothing is too hard for God. He will give you mercy. He was always there, it was you who left. But, know that whenever you come back he will always welcome you with open arms. He loves you. He died for you. Your sin did not surprised him. But there is a chance, whenever we feel convicted of sin that is and evidence that the Holy Spirit is still in us. Do fasting. Any fast. Detached yourself to the world. Little by little, one step at a time. Till your relationship with God will grow stronger. Stop depending on your church or your friends to motivate yourself. Put yourself back on. As long as we're living, God has not givin up on us. Repent then. Surrender yourself to him. Ask for help to change your heart. He will do the work himself, you just have to believe in Him. Godbless

You and I both Brother. But in My humble understanding, the only sin We can not be forgiven or come back from is to not believe in The Living Christ. God made Kings of adulterers and murderers and those who cursed His name. I fight My sins every day yet I commit them knowing full well and with guilt I'm hurting God (The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit) and I just keep sliding back pretending My little prayers once in a while will help. But it seams like He never hears or "moves Me in The Holy Spirit" evangelist wise. I never get or have gotten the big "There He is, I can feel Him in Me, I'm saved, Praise The Lord moment" ! But I'm not going to give up. He hears us, He knows our hearts. I'm hoping He's just waiting for the right moment and that's how kind He is. He will wait until We are ready, when We are truly ready. I have to wonder if "If at first You don't succeed, try try again" works here too ? I also learned that once You ask for forgiveness of Your past sins, don't relive them or regret them. They are gone, the devil brings them back, not The Lord and Your back to square one. Trust Him. Sorry for the long rant but I'm where You are and those are My thought's. If you know what that is, you are already halfway there, the other half is a journey of struggle. Praise be to the Lord for His mercy and sacrifice! My heart was _very_ hardened to Him, and I was very much living in rebellion and was deep into the occult. I even have a tattoo that says in Latin "I will not serve (non serviam)" which is supposedly what satan said to God in Heaven. Although I deserved (and still do) nothing but death and punishment for my transgressions, He instead has shown me mercy and lovingkindness. The day He revealed Himself to me in a very supernatural experience, I knew without a doubt that I would, indeed, serve. That I would bend the knee to Lord Jesus for He is worthy. The day that I bent the knee and ceased my rebellion, those unclean spirits that made a home within me were cast out, and the Holy Spirit (which is God's Spirit) made a home within me, It's temple. Depression, poverty, anger, drinking, smoking, adultery and porn, hatred, fear and misery... the Lord broke my chains and gave me many blessings, including a perfect peace. Life has been so amazing. And I really don't deserve any of it at all.

I am so very Blessed to hear this NOW.... 40 minutes ago my own daughter told me that she wants nothing to do with me. We had an argument 4 weeks ago.... We are beautiful creations of God and he loves us even when we fall. He is reaching out right now to you even if you don't quite see it right now from your perspective with his hand and we need only to take his hand and ask for forgiveness for our sins. The shackles come off, becoming free from what was imprisoning us all this time and all the weight of the burdens, the regret, the sorrow, the ridicule, etc. is off now, laid down to rest at the Lord's feet. Don't Give Up! We must be more relentless than those who attack us, for the Devil knows the Bible in and out so we must be ready. The Holy Spirit was for sure working thru me today. The only other thing I do is pray maybe a few times a day, playing Psalm 51 on repeat sometimes. I fail to sincerely repent, every time I do it I feel its just words and not my heart. If you really repent of your wrong doing he will surely and definitely give you mercy .Because he is a loving God and also he is slow in anger . Read Ezekiel 36:26 and Isiah 43:25 to know God's heart and his willingness to give you mercy always. Doing without knowing or in ignorance is different but doing sin when you know the way of righteousness is very dangerous. But sin is not a problem for God comparing his Love through Jesus if you truly want to change just ask for his forgiveness. Read1John 1:9.

Well, I have been learning about the word of God since July although I am not an expert Theologian or a pastor, I would like to share some words with you. I also went through a tough time with Anxiety, Depression, online school, etc. First, I would like to share with you is that you are not alone and there are people who care for you and I hope you are feeling better. Secondly, The Apostle Paul actually persecuted Jews before he started to believe in God. “I’m the least important of the apostles. I don’t deserve to be called an apostle, because I harassed God’s church." ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:9‬ KJV. Its never too late to look for God. I know it might be hard to congregate with a church (if you are not already in one) at the moment due to the circumstances of today, but if you are, I would recommend to speak to someone from your church because it is good to talk to people about doubts, worries, problems, struggles, etc. But if you are not in a church, then I would say to read the word of God and maybe do a KZbin search related to what you are going through and pray to him as much as you can (Not 24/7) but 1-3 times a day. I like to remind myself that God is with is 24/7, while I am only with him a fraction of that time. A prayer doesnt have to be 1-3 HOURS long, it can be 5-15 minutes starting out, and maybe go a little longer as your faith continues to develop and grow.So just thank him and be grateful for what you have, and also I encourage you to talk to him like a Father who will listen to anything you want to talk about, because he knows what you want to talk about before you even talk to him about it. I call him, a Father, protector, friend, therapist, and much more. And my "medication" is ONLY the word of God. Without God I don't know where I would be. When you truly have God in your life on a personal level, your life truly changes. Please, look for God, he wants you to seek him. Those who seek him will find him. “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬. I thought I had committed blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and thought my heart was too hard to be saved. But God sent me a sign from heaven. One day I had given up and gave into drugs and had this terrifying experience. I felt my soul being tormented and dragged down by demonic forces and I cried for help and screamed. I was able to eventually escape. Went to the hospital and came back. Out of now where a cross necklace was in my car. I put it around my neck and that night I was filled with godly sorrow in my heart and cried and confessed my sins to God. The next day I went to church and this woman said that God told her to offer me money but I resisted the donation because it was love for money that caused me to fall away. I knew in my heart that God was testing my faith. God never leaves nor forsakes, our sin leads to believing that he has. The devil is also good at accusing you and condemning you with sin. Repent and seek God daily because he’s faithful.

The hardening of the heart is an effect dependant on the state of one’s heart. Your heart condition is the “solute” and God’s touch is the “solvent”. God’s touch is always good but the “scientific” reaction varies from person to person. Amy Grant’s song ‘How Can We See That Far’ describes it this way: 🎶The same sun that melts the wax can hardens clay. The same rain that drowns the earth will grow the hay🎶. Therefore, Pharaoh or anyone else who ends up with a hardened heart can only truly blame themselves and this will be made clear at the Great White Throne Judgment Day. In the meantime, it’s our responsibility to guard our hearts now cause if we delay and willfully tolerate sin to creep into our hearts, eventually we get too sick spiritually and the results of God’s touch by then will be hardening.

The consequences of parent's sin though it is not meant to be blamed to their children, the consequences will also be suffered by their children, just like when man did evil things to other man, the victim by no mean suffered the blame, the victim suffered the consequences of the evil action done by the evil man. Children of wrath implies we as children of Adam and Eve (parents) suffered the consequences our parent's actions good or bad, yet in this context (wrath) it is the bad actions of our parents, to be more exact, Adam and Eve's disobidience was inherited to us their children. I feel my heart is hardening, i feel that my ignorance and stubborn heart is bringing my walk with God in misery. I never truly felt the wrath of God. I have been learning the severity of sin. I know we should be ruthless with sin, and I believed the lie that "there just struggles you will overcome one day". Gods will is for us to live to please him and to live holy. I find that hardening of heart comes from putting away the things of God. Sometimes we humans trust in our own power and in our own knowledge for the things of this world. God calls this foolishness. The heart cannot be softened until we start to seek God for who he is. Good events or bad events can either push us nearer to God or further from him based on our relationship with him. Moral of the story is to keep focused on God. He wishes none of us to perish.

The word "hardened" is actually "strengthened" Meaning God "strengthened" the individual heart of what is already there.... does that make sense? If you read Exodus, you will see that God hasn't even hardened Pharaoh's heart yet... and Pharaoh still rejects to listen to Moses. So Pharaoh has a heart that rejects God already, and God simply took what is already there (his hardened heart) and strengthen in... increasing its POTENT. On the surface this is all factual, but to be honest, it is also a very very disheartening depiction of reality: 1) none of us has ever asked to be born 2) none of us was there in the garden of Eden or had any chance to stop Adam and Eve from sinning and thus ruining our destiny 3) now here we are born alltogether in sin with no hope of undoing the past or changing our destiny...we are all on our path to eternal darkness and suffering... 4)God chose to pick some of us to be saved, the reason why some were picked and others not, lie within God's mind 5)because we keep on sinning, we re beeing hardened even more, thousands of us die daily in their sins and will face the wrath of God.. 6)even if you are one of the elects, how can you rejoice about your salvation when (almost) eveyone else around incl. your loved ones will end up in hell to be tormented for ever while you eternally chill in Heaven? 7) The only time this objections were raised in the Scriptures, the answer was in Rom 9v20: But , O man, to ? Shall is formed say to Him formed it, “Why did make me like this?...Which is a very unsatisfying answer! As I said, this is all factual, at least on the surface...But something just doesn t fit. Every person looking at this doesn t feel like prainsing God, actually it s quite the opposite that comes to one s mind! If God is fair (and I believe He is) there is certainly a big part of the story missing. Which one? To be honest I don t know, I can only speculate about it. But something tells me that, what happened in Eden is even darker than we thought. @Thierry Fozing I will address your comment point by point, and may what I post be biblical, acceptable to the Lord, and helpful in some way to you. 1. None of us ever asked to be born - Yes! None of us asked to be born because obviously one couldn't precede their existence in order to request being born. So birth / existence is all in the hands of another, who is ultimately God the true determiner of all things being eternal, the First and the Last, and the one who decrees the end from the beginning. The knowledge of God when studied and pondered on biblically should humble us and help us understand that as creatures we owe our existence, our purpose, our lives and our destinies to him and his plan, and we are in no wise our own, which has huge implications that being hardened sinners, we are not willing to accept, which is why there are people calling themselves athiests, agnostics, etc. They can't disprove the reality that a Supreme God exists and they hate it, so they suppress that truth so that they are free in their conscience to do what they wish to do. But I digress. No, we didn't wish to be born and I often wonder as to who, foreknowing the course ahead for lives would choose to be born, but existing is not ours to choose but our Creator's to whom we belong. We are his to serve his purposes, and inevitably we will, and this is the way it ought to be because he is God and we are not. So then, even if we mourn our existence or the existence of others for whatever reasons, we should humble ourselves and make the most of the time God has ordained for us in his will, using the knowledge we have to please him. 2. None of us were there in the garden of Eden or had any chance to stop Adam and Eve from sinning and thus ruining our destiny - While we were not there physically in that space and time, we were there "in Adam" meaning, he preceded us as the head of our race, and like a king or a president, he represented us and made the decision for us for sin and because we were destined to be born according to God's will, and in fact, Adam was destined to sin according to God's redemptive plan for human history, we may as well have been there because what Adam did would affect us all, and none of us would have stopped him. Even in the case of Adam's sin, God was sovereign over what was to happen and sin fit into God's plan because it had a purpose, which is why he put the tree there in the first place. It makes no sense that the omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent God would jeopardize what he had spent his time and effort into creating by risking it with one man and one decision not knowing how things were gonna turn out when there didn't have to be an opportunity for sin to enter the world. The only logical explanation is that the sovereign God intended for Adam to sin, although we know biblically that God did not make Adam sin nor was he pleased when he did, thus God is just in punishing Adam and all of us as well whom Adam represented like rulers of a country with citizens who suffer the consequences when their leaders are unwise, and also any man put in that position would have done the same thing. The truth is that strictly speaking Adam fulfilled destiny, he didn't ruin it because he did what God ordained and God's purposes cannot fail, and part of God's plan was to remedy what Adam did for a great portion of humanity by the Gospel of his Son, Jesus Christ. 3. Now here we are born altogether in sin with no hope of undoing the past or changing our destiny... we are all on the path to eternal darkness and suffering... - Indeed, we are all born totally depraved, meaning slaves to sin snd unwilling and unable to save ourselves, but this is exactly what God's will is, because our inability to save ourselves makes him the great and only hero and Saviour of the lost! We are on the path to eternal darkness and suffering, yet according to God's sovereign decree in eternity past, not all of us are going to suffer that fate, which we all deserve, because God has willed to be merciful and gracious to some, forgiving their sins, declaring them righteous, reconciling and adopting them unto himself, and conforming them to the image of his Son from new birth until Jesus returns, all provided by the death, burial and resurrection of the God-man, Jesus! 4. God chose some of us to be saved, the reason why some were picked and others not, lie within God's mind - Yes! God predestined some to salvation and other to perdition, and we are given a glimpse into why he chose some for himself and not others. The reason why the universe exists is for the fullness of God's glory in his nature and character to be displayed to creatures made in his image so that they may experience his great love and grace and praise him for who he is and what he has done. So then, redeeming some highlights his grace, mercy, love and kind faithfulness which none of them deserve one bit, while rejecting others highlights God's righteousness and justice when he gives to all the unrepentant the precisely just punishment for the sins they had commited and in fact wanted to commit. In the origin, course, and destinies of all mankind, both the dear elect and the reprobate, God is shown to be omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, awesome and the great and holy author, workman, and finisher of the greatest story ever told that is HIStory. As the sovereign Creator, God had the full prerogative to make whatever decisions he pleased even to the point of ordaining both pleasure and displeasure for himself, and somehow he managed to do everything in a way that did not violate his character, overexert his essential attributes, or puppet humanity in a way that would make us less than creatures constructed in his own image with a will that is utilized freely even when it is not free as to what it wills, all ensuring that he arrives at his intended conclusion of all glory, praise and honor for himself alone! That's some awesome, unfathomable wisdom and power there, and if only we could understand it rightly and adequately enough for our thoughts, feelings and actions to be only worshipful to our holy, worthy Lord and King!

Because we keep on sinning, we're being hardened even more, {and} thousands of us die daily in their sins and will face the wrath of God. - Pastor Piper addressed this point at the beginning of the episode, but I'll add, even though we are hardened against God naturally causing us to sin, and our sin brings upon us the judgment of God, in no way does it prevent God from doing what he has willed to do from before the beginning, which is the good news. Everyone on earth is either elect or reprobate, and the elect, regardless of how wicked and hardened they are right now, will hear the Gospel, be granted new birth by the Holy Spirit, come to repentance and faith in who Jesus is and what he has done to save sinners, and so they will not perish but have everlasting life. Thousands do indeed die in their sin daily and will experience God's wrath, but people are also being saved daily as the Gospel goes forth and God graciously pours out the Holy Spirit on his elect, calling them to himself. So while some are getting what they deserve or being hardned in their hearts to eventually get what they deserve for all eternity, many others are being informed that Christ while on the cross suffered what many deserved once and for all so that if they repent of their sins and trust in him, they will be spared and receive everlasting life. We must be grateful for God's grace in salvation, and do our small yet very meaningful role in his redemeptive work by sharing the Gospel (and I am guilty and need to be more bold and active in doing this,) all while praising and thanking God in our profession of faith and examining ourselves to make our calling and election sure. We should be mourning, but that mourning should transition into gratitude and joy and bring us to our knees and then to our feet in obedience to advance God's kingdom. 6. Even if you are one of the elect, how can you rejoice about your salvation when (almost) everyone else around incl. your loved ones will end up in Hell to be tormented forever while you eternally chill in Heaven? So much to say on this question, but to sum it up: As one of God's elect, if you indeed are revealed as one by his grace through your saving repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone, you rejoice by worshipping the Lord which you can and must do BECAUSE you are his elect and he has saved you! You are to greive because you love your fellow human neighbors and a lot of them are not going to inherit eternal life with you because of unrepentance, which is utterly somber and devastating, but you are also to rejoice and overflow with grattitude, adoration and a life of worship for God because of his amazing, efficacious, salvific and Fatherly grace towards you in predetermining to save you and make you into the image of his only Begotten Son Jesus even in spite of who you once were and even are now! This is so overwhelmingly amazing and you are so gloriously blessed and fortunate that your gratitude and joy must and ultimately will outweigh and overshadow your grief about the fate of the reprobate, if for no other reason, because God chose for you to not be one of them, but also because you are able to see more and more of the glory of God via the intimacy he has brought you into. You won't be simply chilling in Heaven, you will be worshipping, working, praising, dancing, feasting, and delighting in the Lord and all your brothers and sisters while on the everlasting pursuit to get to the heights and depths of the goodness and holiness of God that we finite beings will never fully grasp even while we are blissfully enjoying it in our glorified state! 7. This answer is unsatisfying to you and to many Arminians because of immaturity in their knowledge of God. Paul's answer to their objection is basically, "Shut up, already! Don't you realize that God preceded in eternity past and created everything and everyone, and therefore owns everything and everyone and has the sole rights to do with his creation as he pleases." We don't exist for God to do things in our favor, rather we exist for God's glory to be displayed in us to whatever extent he has determined, and he cannot be unjust because he is supreme and we are his belongings. If you made two toys and you decided to be more, gentle, attentive to, and pleased with one toy than you were with the other, and then ultimately you decided to throw the least pleasurable toy in the garbage, would it be right or even logical for someone to come up to you and scold you for the treatnent of your toys? While God's prerogative over and treatment towards us his creatures is much more complex than this, we do the same thing when we criticize and shun him over the issue of his absolute sovereign and we make little of his grace. God owes no one any grace, and get this, because of the hardness of the hearts of the unregenerate, when they perish in Hell, they will be in their preferred place given the two options before them because what Heaven is all about is the fullness of the manifest presence of God and unrepentant sinners hate God, so they would rather be away from him for all eternity not with him. While they may be tormented in the Lake and hate and mourn their fate, they still will not regret and repent of their lives of sin and come to desire and trust in God because their sin won't permit them. The saints, however will be able to know and understand God and his ways more fully than they do now, and we will agree with his justice and sovereign decrees and praise him for it evermore, being all the more grateful that he used his prerogative to favor us rather than reject us which he could have and because of our sin, arguably should have.

@@phieble thank you bro for the thorough answer. I 'll try to make my point again: - Imagine yourself throwing a stone in the air and then getting angry because that stone fell to the ground! That's not all, then what you do next is pick up the stone, cast it into a furnace as a punishment for it to be burned day and night forever because it didn t stay in the air (which by the way is against its nature- stones don't stay in the air, gravity brings them down, always). Do you get the point? Pictured that way it simply doesn t make any sense for you to be angry at the stone, as if the result of your throwing it could have been in anyway different! In the same way, it simply doesn t make sense for God to be angry at billions of souls that have no other choice but to be born into this woeful reality and are doomed from eternity to continue sinning again and again and ultimately reap eternal punishment. God normally only punishes the sons until the 3rd and 4th generation after their fathers, how come this sin of Adam is being repaid by the sons millions of generations after Adam? My point is , all this really doesn t make sense, God is depicted as a sort of cosmic dictator, only concerned by the display of His own glory and deliberately casting the one or the other into the lake of fire, because ultimately we all belong into that place of torment. If that were the case, wouldn t it have been better not to create anybody at all? Isn t love the supreme ethic? Where is LOVE for those who perish? I personally believe that the key to understanding what s going on is found in Eden itself and also in the parable of the weeds Mt. 13V24 (which is actually an explanation of what really happened in Eden), I wont say much because I don't want to speculate. We have a God s given right to apply reason to everything, yes even to God Himself. "Seek and you shall find, ask and you shall receive". Finally far be it from me to darken the purpose of the Lord. God is sovereign but God is also good, I mean really good, Goodness is no mystery, it is tangible. Love is according to me greater than justice. How all that fits into the Big Picture of the universe? I don t know and don t understand. Here is faith required, faith that our God is better than whatever our finite mind will ever conceive about Him. All praise be to Him, forever.

Yve Ace There is momentum to our spiritual life. People imagine we control our spiritual nature, step by step. Reality is sin leads down hill, & quickly becomes a freefall. One does not stand on the doorstep of God's favour, keeping it within reach until we are ready to grasp it. The rejection of God's offer of reconciliation quickly becomes apathy toward salvation. Indifference becomes hostility (or at least becomes blindness toward the value of salvation). One cannot remain convinced of the need for reconciliation with God, after refusing to submit to His authority. Our hearts harden. We fall away. Not God's choice. Not our choice. But a consequence of our choice, a reality of our spiritual nature.
