Try fasting, fasting is the way to humble ourselves. And ask God to guide you, i dont know what things that happen to you that harden you heart, but if you want to share a little bit maybe i could help talking about it I used to have a heart that like a stone, i running out from God as best as i could, but He keep chasing me, until i really surrender to Him, it's 14 years of bitterness (if include my life before knowing Christianity almost 18 years) I used to hate God too because i feel He is dont care about me, He is kind to anyone else but not me, He dont love me and He is unfair Even hearing someone using God name brought so much hatred from me, but wherever i go, i keep seeing a Christian people

I used to have a soft heart (when i was first saved about 8 years ago). Now I feel so numb to everything and I feel like my heart is hardening. I pray that the Lord will soften my heart and help me to love Him more. Now I listen to this, see all the comments from people where I was, and tho I am happy for them I am very sad and envious. I want back to that place. Lord help me, I’m a scumbag sinner...

Then go back to him and stay. Remain in him and he will remain in you. Change your ways, delete social medias, twitter, dont want secular musics or listen to depressing songs. Read your bible. Talk to God more. Ask for help and he will lead you the way. Nothing is too hard for God. He will give you mercy. He was always there, it was you who left. But, know that whenever you come back he will always welcome you with open arms. He loves you. He died for you. Your sin did not surprised him. But there is a chance, whenever we feel convicted of sin that is and evidence that the Holy Spirit is still in us. Do fasting. Any fast. Detached yourself to the world. Little by little, one step at a time. Till your relationship with God will grow stronger. Stop depending on your church or your friends to motivate yourself. Put yourself back on. As long as we're living, God has not givin up on us. Repent then. Surrender yourself to him. Ask for help to change your heart. He will do the work himself, you just have to believe in Him. Godbless

You and I both Brother. But in My humble understanding, the only sin We can not be forgiven or come back from is to not believe in The Living Christ. God made Kings of adulterers and murderers and those who cursed His name. I fight My sins every day yet I commit them knowing full well and with guilt I'm hurting God (The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit) and I just keep sliding back pretending My little prayers once in a while will help. But it seams like He never hears or "moves Me in The Holy Spirit" evangelist wise. I never get or have gotten the big "There He is, I can feel Him in Me, I'm saved, Praise The Lord moment" ! But I'm not going to give up. He hears us, He knows our hearts. I'm hoping He's just waiting for the right moment and that's how kind He is. He will wait until We are ready, when We are truly ready. I have to wonder if "If at first You don't succeed, try try again" works here too ? I also learned that once You ask for forgiveness of Your past sins, don't relive them or regret them. They are gone, the devil brings them back, not The Lord and Your back to square one. Trust Him. Sorry for the long rant but I'm where You are and those are My thought's. Praise be to the Lord for His mercy and sacrifice! My heart was _very_ hardened to Him, and I was very much living in rebellion and was deep into the occult. I even have a tattoo that says in Latin "I will not serve (non serviam)" which is supposedly what satan said to God in Heaven. Although I deserved (and still do) nothing but death and punishment for my transgressions, He instead has shown me mercy and lovingkindness. The day He revealed Himself to me in a very supernatural experience, I knew without a doubt that I would, indeed, serve. That I would bend the knee to Lord Jesus for He is worthy. The day that I bent the knee and ceased my rebellion, those unclean spirits that made a home within me were cast out, and the Holy Spirit (which is God's Spirit) made a home within me, It's temple. Depression, poverty, anger, drinking, smoking, adultery and porn, hatred, fear and misery... the Lord broke my chains and gave me many blessings, including a perfect peace. Life has been so amazing. And I really don't deserve any of it at all.

I am so very Blessed to hear this NOW.... 40 minutes ago my own daughter told me that she wants nothing to do with me. We had an argument 4 weeks ago.... Today she still doesn't want to talk to me and when I today spoke to her and ask if we could make up and make peace she said, no, she will never forgive me, I am nothing to her. It sounds like it is nothing and I should just go on with my life, but, my problem is... We life together in the same house, her house and she is my provider... I don't work... I have forgiven her... We are beautiful creations of God and he loves us even when we fall. He is reaching out right now to you even if you don't quite see it right now from your perspective with his hand and we need only to take his hand and ask for forgiveness for our sins. The shackles come off, becoming free from what was imprisoning us all this time and all the weight of the burdens, the regret, the sorrow, the ridicule, etc. is off now, laid down to rest at the Lord's feet. Don't Give Up! We must be more relentless than those who attack us, for the Devil knows the Bible in and out so we must be ready. The Holy Spirit was for sure working thru me today. My heart has become hard. All I do all day is sin; do drugs, play games, stay on my phone all day, ignore friends and family. The only other thing I do is pray maybe a few times a day, playing Psalm 51 on repeat sometimes. I fail to sincerely repent, every time I do it I feel its just words and not my heart. Most of the time I feel nothing, every now and then I get a glimmer of what the heart feels but its love is weak. I have had many relationships where even after years I feel no differently towards the person than if we were to never meet. I don't miss people or fall in love. I know my heart is hardened, but I feel I cannot Love God with my whole heart if I'm like this, I want to Love God. I feel my heart is hardening, i feel that my ignorance and stubborn heart is bringing my walk with God in misery. I never truly felt the wrath of God. I have been learning the severity of sin. I know we should be ruthless with sin, and I believed the lie that "there just struggles you will overcome one day". Gods will is for us to live to please him and to live holy. Well, I have been learning about the word of God since July although I am not an expert Theologian or a pastor, I would like to share some words with you. I also went through a tough time with Anxiety, Depression, online school, etc. First, I would like to share with you is that you are not alone and there are people who care for you and I hope you are feeling better. Secondly, The Apostle Paul actually persecuted Jews before he started to believe in God. “I’m the least important of the apostles. I don’t deserve to be called an apostle, because I harassed God’s church." ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:9‬ KJV. Its never too late to look for God. I know it might be hard to congregate with a church (if you are not already in one) at the moment due to the circumstances of today, but if you are, I would recommend to speak to someone from your church because it is good to talk to people about doubts, worries, problems, struggles, etc. But if you are not in a church, then I would say to read the word of God and maybe do a KZbin search related to what you are going through and pray to him as much as you can (Not 24/7) but 1-3 times a day. I like to remind myself that God is with is 24/7, while I am only with him a fraction of that time. A prayer doesnt have to be 1-3 HOURS long, it can be 5-15 minutes starting out, and maybe go a little longer as your faith continues to develop and grow.So just thank him and be grateful for what you have, and also I encourage you to talk to him like a Father who will listen to anything you want to talk about, because he knows what you want to talk about before you even talk to him about it. I call him, a Father, protector, friend, therapist, and much more. And my "medication" is ONLY the word of God. Without God I don't know where I would be. When you truly have God in your life on a personal level, your life truly changes. Please, look for God, he wants you to seek him. Those who seek him will find him. “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬. If you really repent of your wrong doing he will surely and definitely give you mercy .Because he is a loving God and also he is slow in anger . Read Ezekiel 36:26 and Isiah 43:25 to know God's heart and his willingness to give you mercy always. Doing without knowing or in ignorance is different but doing sin when you know the way of righteousness is very dangerous. But sin is not a problem for God comparing his Love through Jesus if you truly want to change just ask for his forgiveness. Read1John 1:9.

The hardening of the heart is an effect dependant on the state of one’s heart. Your heart condition is the “solute” and God’s touch is the “solvent”. God’s touch is always good but the “scientific” reaction varies from person to person. Amy Grant’s song ‘How Can We See That Far’ describes it this way: 🎶The same sun that melts the wax can hardens clay. The same rain that drowns the earth will grow the hay🎶. Therefore, Pharaoh or anyone else who ends up with a hardened heart can only truly blame themselves and this will be made clear at the Great White Throne Judgment Day. In the meantime, it’s our responsibility to guard our hearts now cause if we delay and willfully tolerate sin to creep into our hearts, eventually we get too sick spiritually and the results of God’s touch by then will be hardening.

Pray for me everybody. I’ve been having blasphemous thoughts that I didn’t want and I asked the Lord to help me and they kept coming and coming and I keep having to remind myself that I have to be pacient and that the Lord our God will help me and to just have faith in him but these thought keep coming and they were trying to make me believe them which I do not and I didn’t but for some reason I don’t feel anything for I don’t feel like I have conscience or that something is holding me back from talking to my Lord can y’all please pray for me I am suffering and need to know if I’m done for bc I still love God and believe everything Jesus did was for me and that he can guide me with his spirit

Look what Paul endured, locked in prison, snakes jumping out of a fire and biting him, latching onto him, shipwrecked many times, being blinded, then had to have help to get around, people hunting him to kill him, living in poverty, going without food for long times, being run out of about every town, but he stayed faithful till the end, and his heart was not hardened. The ones who do not believe in God or Jesus are the condemned ones with a hardened heart, given over to a reprobate mind. They have denied the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, or blasphemy. Every disciple endures hardships, look at the disciples who walked with Jesus, John was boiled in hot oil, and sent to a desolate Island, hated everywhere he went. Jesus said rejoice when you are persecuted, for your name is written in Heaven. ❤.

I hope someone responds, but I used to be softer hearted person but one day that would change, one day I was praying to the lord and then I started to feel a pain on my shoulders and neck, I asked Jesus to heal it and nothing, it hurt for days till I stopped, I stopped reading the word and stopped praying,I started to wilfully sin. I find that hardening of heart comes from putting away the things of God. Sometimes we humans trust in our own power and in our own knowledge for the things of this world. God calls this foolishness. The heart cannot be softened until we start to seek God for who he is. Good events or bad events can either push us nearer to God or further from him based on our relationship with him. Moral of the story is to keep focused on God. He wishes none of us to perish.

I thought I had committed blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and thought my heart was too hard to be saved. But God sent me a sign from heaven. One day I had given up and gave into drugs and had this terrifying experience. I felt my soul being tormented and dragged down by demonic forces and I cried for help and screamed. I was able to eventually escape. Went to the hospital and came back. Out of now where a cross necklace was in my car. I put it around my neck and that night I was filled with godly sorrow in my heart and cried and confessed my sins to God. The next day I went to church and this woman said that God told her to offer me money but I resisted the donation because it was love for money that caused me to fall away. I knew in my heart that God was testing my faith. God never leaves nor forsakes, our sin leads to believing that he has. The devil is also good at accusing you and condemning you with sin. Repent and seek God daily because he’s faithful.

Yve Ace There is momentum to our spiritual life. People imagine we control our spiritual nature, step by step. Reality is sin leads down hill, & quickly becomes a freefall. One does not stand on the doorstep of God's favour, keeping it within reach until we are ready to grasp it. The rejection of God's offer of reconciliation quickly becomes apathy toward salvation. Indifference becomes hostility (or at least becomes blindness toward the value of salvation). One cannot remain convinced of the need for reconciliation with God, after refusing to submit to His authority. Our hearts harden. We fall away. Not God's choice. Not our choice. But a consequence of our choice, a reality of our spiritual nature.
