Wendy, your telling my story every single thing you speak about I can identify with. I believe I saw this video before but didn't know how important this was going to become in my life. The only thing I remembered that you mentioned was to ask God for a passion of the word and not until I purposely sat and paid attention to this video several of the very important things were clarified not racing to read huge chunks of the bible for the insane race I was placing myself in. Today I woke prayed and headed for my quiet time and read a few scriptures until that special one jumped off the page and I knew this is the one I will really dig into today glory to God. My quiet time in the Word is becoming the most important part of my life and journey. Be blessed my dear friend and may God continue to use you in mighty ways. Your awesome dont ever forget that.

Hi Wendy, thank you for everything you are doing for us! I just had to mention that Charles Spurgeon lived in the 1800's. I'm sure you already know that & it was just a mistake. Have a wonderful day & thank you again! 💙💙💙

Yes... I think it was a mistake. This is an older video and I have since made that correction in others. ;)

Hi Wendy! I've just found your channel and am sooo happy I found you. I've recently started actually reading my Bible after many years of owning one and I am constantly looking at different translations. I an curious what about the CSB you don't like as that was actually one I seen on Amazon that I almost purchased.

Hi Nicole! SO glad you are here!! No real reason other than the "readability" of it. Personal preference. I do use it on occasion - in fact, I use MANY different translations as I look to see different word choices, but I personally find the NLT to be the most easy to comprehend. :)

I find that often Ill start reading the aBible and end up in a rabbit trail and cover many topics and hours pass really quickly . I love it. I started with one word that got me started, “calamity “! I was so surprised to find that word it started m reading and looking for it in other places in the Bible and in all I’ve been in all 66 books. Now I’m reading the Bible all the way through. Started really studying the Bible in 2010.

I get up with my husband to make sure he’s up for work and I use to stay up from 2:30 in the morning until 6:00 to get kids to school. Ever since I got pregnant, 17 weeks later, I’m not sure what happened since then but I have not been in His word since. I’m having the urge to do it again recently, but I end up not to. I guess it’s bc I’m burned out or I’m too tired or if it’s bc I’m too wrapped up in life, stressing over complications and life being a roller coaster with my family, hitting us all at once. How do I get back into it??? I’m desperate for my passion again…

Believe on the finished work of Jesus Christ of Nazareth “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV Once saved always saved (you have to believe this) “that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” Ephesians 1:12-13 KJV Blood of the lamb washes you and buys your soul “forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:” 1 Peter 1:18-19 KJV
