Sir I want to ask you a question that acceleration due to gravity means the acceleration produce due to the influence of the Earth but when throw any object in up ward direction then we call it ‐g but this is not the acceleration due to gravity then why we call it acceleration due gravity? @Barun Kumar g is acceleration due to Gravity when we throw any object then the Object has Less mass .and Earth has higher mass hence It is pulled towards Earth.The Object is Fall on Earth.hence in this Change in Velocity is called Acceleration

9.8m/s^2 is the acceleration due to gravity not the force by which earth attracts any object. it is the acceleration which is faced by any object falling towards...adnis same for any object. if you want to calculate the force by which any object is attracted towards earth then just simple multiply 9.8 to the mass of the object....
