Great video ! I would like to add for the benefit of protestant believers that all of Pauls' letters also have a greeting to " the saints of" indicating that his letters are not directed towards the unsaved but to already born again believers. Thus they are not speaking of how to be saved but further instructions in the faith to the saved.

This is a very problematic stance considering even Dr Bernard says in his book “the Message of Romans” that Romans has more verses about salvation than any other book in the Bible. So it has more verses about salvation than other book but it does not tell us how to be saved? Further to this, in Romans 1:15-16 Paul claims this letter is him preaching the Gospel unto salvation. Even outside of Romans there are so many verses in the epistles that are clearly explaining how we are saved, so I fail to see how you came to this understanding of the epistles.
@robertnieten72592 жыл бұрын
@@Brock2048 Paul does teach about salvation in his epistles. How salvation is taught to already born again saints is different than how it would be taught to seekers. When taught to seekers it would be taught on a basic level giving only what is required in order to be saved. But the same teaching to saints would take the same plan of salvation and teach it giving it more depth in its explanation. Romans ch.10 :9 is a prime example. "That if thou confess with thy mouth and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved". Protestants traditionally will stop there in the teaching of what God requires from us in order to be saved. This verse alone would be sufficient to preach to seekers if it by itself was directed at them. But the thought is completed in vs.10, "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation". The Word "unto" used twice in this verse is the Greek word eis. The word eis means "into" meaning starting at one point and arriving at another. This indicates that a process is involved. Just as being born physically involves a process so does being reborn spiritually. It is already apparent that repentance isn't present in these two verses neither is water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ mentioned as well as recieving the Holy Spirit. We are saved by believing into Christ. That requires our faith in action by obeying the plan of salvation first spoken by Peter in Acts 2:38 and followed by Paul in Acts ch.19. Lastly, being as how Paul's epistles are all directed " ..to the saints of.." his frequent mentioning of salvation is always expanded upon by Paul for believers who are already saved.

@@robertnieten7259 So Paul teaches about salvation but he doesn’t tell the whole story? He only tells part of the salvation plan and assumes they know the rest even though Romans is written to a church he had never visited before? In Galatians as Paul re-explains the gospel to them, he brings their salvation into question on multiple occasions but you would say he still leaves out aspects you would deem essential? I’m sorry, but that would be very irresponsible and reckless for the apostle to write that way. We could literally assume anything on to his words and make it mean anything if we don’t just take it at face value and claim he is missing essential parts. I don’t want to come off as harsh but your interpretation of Romans 10:10 seems like a huge stretch. Because the word “into” is found there, that means Romans 10:9 is actually pointing to a process that Paul never mentions in Romans or any of his other writings?? It seems you are coming to Romans with a prior understanding of salvation and trying to make Romans fit it rather than allowing Romans to say what it says. On top of this, I don’t want to assume what you believe, but it seems you think Acts is the book where Salvation was explained to the seeker? If that is the case, it needs to be pointed out that Luke wrote Acts to Theophilus who had already been instructed in the way of Christ according to Luke 1:1-4. He was already saved as well! This means Acts is also disqualified from explaining salvation to the seeker based on your own standard.
@robertnieten72592 жыл бұрын
@@Brock2048 Thank you for your reply. The book of Acts, in a letter to a saints, is directed not just to him but to be read and taught to other saints in the church. Acts is unique in that it not only the the first account of believers being saved, Acts ch.2, but a historical progression of that message. Jesus gave Peter the keys to the kingdom of heaven In Matt.16: 17-19 and he spoke them at Pentecost. Paul in his epistles, all of which begin with " To the saints of"isn't teaching them again a new plan of salvation but expounding in depth upon something they already know. In a church Bible class you would teach differently concerning salvation than you would if you were appealing to the unsaved to be saved. In Galations Paul rebukes them as if they were unsaved, which he wouldn't do anyway, but for behaving as if they were not. My approach to Rom.10: 9,10 isn't based on something I was taught in a church, but as the result of private study as the Holy Spirit has taught me me how to rightly interpreting what is already plainly written in the two verses in the context in which they were written and to who they were written to.

I read and pondered these salutations a 100 times or more over my 1st year being introduced to Truth. There is one salutation where you could say there are 4: God, F, S and HG. They are conjunctive meaning God is the F and Lord Jesus. I'm saved by Grace thru Faith, oh wretched man that I am! TY, this podcast is powerful, simple and delivery is calm and concise. 😃

God used Father Abraham and promised him blessings. God is looking for a man to work thru, God used men to operate as priests after the resurrection, (Peter (Matt 16:19) announcing the KEYS to the Kingdom of God (KoG) which DO NOT contradict the Born Again (red letter) direction given in John 3:3, 5, 8 (notice we have to go thru John 3: 3, 5, 8 to get to John 3:16); we are children in the eyes of our SUPER God, how can we relate? The FULLNESS of the Godhead (F,S,HG) dwells in Christ bodily, No man has seen God at any time but God was "MANIFEST" in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory; another place it says "you've seen me, you've seen the Father, I and my Father are 1"; how many dots do we need to connect ? Paul says these to emphasize ONENESS a basic Jewish foundational concept. read as conjunctive (connecting) not as separate, it'll make a whole difference after you get past that hurdle. TY for this opportunity. Conjunctive meaning connecting implies adjoining together not dividing and separate. It is revelation from God opening our understanding. Each of us interprets the surroundings differently (color blind, being taught hate toward one another because of racial treatment or ethnicity, problem solving--some like the hammer...lol, etc.) initially I read versus as trinity (or multiple persons) because that is what I had heard for the 1st 25 years of my life and I did not put much other aspect such as oneness. I have a huge message titled The Definite Article, when "the" is placed in front of a proper noun it indicates or is suggesting a "known" element or quantity such as the Father, The Son, the Holy Ghost, So when instruction came to baptize in the Name of the F, the S, and the HG, there is no contradiction when Peter instructed baptism in the name Jesus for remission of sins, or others throughout the book of Acts. Name Jesus is conjunctive of 3 titles F, S, HG. Apostle Paul did not have a KJV Bible, he received revelation and sought God for 3 years after he was smitten on the road to Damascus. He was a Pharisee among Pharisee's, very staunch and zealous. The voice did not say this is the Son Jesus whom thou persecutes. Paul was and is a oneness Jew / Apostle. I spent a year rehearsing these salutations, the only rational was 1 conjunctive conveyance of this theology in an ungodly paganist world of multiple gods. God seeks us to worship in spirit and truth. knowing and understand oneness facilitates us worshipping correctly. We have to be blameless w/o spot or wrinkle with a clean heart. I pray revelation upon you in Jesus name. TY again@@gimel77

I certainly agree with Bro Bernard and would just say that to me the reference is pointing out the natural man. The divine fullness of the godhead that dwelt in Jesus did not die on the cross. The natural man died, thereby paying the debt we cannot pay. His atonement enables us to be reconciled to God and be at peace with God.

@rayroberts8487 Жыл бұрын
@@afolabiawe4733 Colossians 1:15 and Hebrews 1:3 along with John 4:24 shows God is A spirit that is eternal and invisible so we can say that Jesus Christ is the image or the express person of the one, invisible, eternal spirit. Since God is one spirit then holiness must be an attribute of that one spirit, hence when he interacts with man he says Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost. Seeing that God is one spirit proven even more by the scriptures concerning gifts and different administrations that state it is the selfsame spirit working through us we can see by scripture that the Father and the Holy Spirit are the selfsame spirit. Now Jesus, himself, said the Father is greater than he so he cannot be a second person in a trinity because trinity states co-equal, co-eternal, etc and the man Christ Jesus was born under the law born of a woman. Trinity is an invention to turn people away from the one true God and turn man to worshipping man. You can verify this through several sources, the brittanica and Catholic encyclopedias. Trinity and its baptism came into existence two hundred years after Jesus and the apostles death.

Right, however, many say God died on the cross. We know God is eternal, immortal so God can't die. That is why the eternal Spirit had to leave the man so the man could die for us causing the man Jesus to exclaim my God, my God why hasn't thou forsaken me. Then after 3 days the Spirit enters back into him and resurrects the man. Now here is a wonderful thing: the scripture declares that if the Spirit that raised Christ up dwells in you then He will raise you up.

Just some friendly contribution and clarity: Matthew 3:17 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” God clearly states in scripture MY SON showing that the father (God) son (Jesus) and Holyspirit (comforter, teacher, guide) is relational. Jesus is the son of God we also know that Jesus sits on the right hand of God interceding for us the father son and holy spirit are one, one God, God works in these three ways, they are relational and are one at the same time. Also its so important to study, teach, and speak scripture verse by verse. To see what a picture of a jigsaw puzzle is you can't pluck random pieces you need all the pieces together or you will misapply and misinterpret the picture, the bible is exactly the same. Context is key, always, I hope this helps someone ❤.

After the establishment of the tabernacle, people called on God through the tabernacle; the tabernacle that God established. Greetings, brother! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made" (John 1:1-3). !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The biggest mistake of Trinitarians is to assume that "the Word" is the man Christ Jesus, when the text clearly states that "the Word was God." Moreover, there are ample texts that state that there is only One God, the Father (1 Cor. 8:6; Jn. 17:3; 1 Tim. 2:5). So to read v. 14, "the Word was made flesh," then read this back into v. 1, "the Word was God" is to pervert the text. It is as if to say, my mother gave birth to me, therefore, I am my mother. Instead, it was God (the Father), the maker of all things, who was made flesh. That is who the Son of God was, God made flesh, God with us in the flesh. The Son was not a "person" of God, but God made flesh, the man Christ Jesus. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one" (1 John 5:7). !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The above are not three, or three-in-one, but One: One God, three titles/names. The Word was made flesh, the man Christ Jesus, conceived of the Holy Spirit. Not "persons" of God but manifestations of the One Spirit who is God. God is the Word, which is Spirit, and God is that Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit that proceeds out of the mouth of God and is God. Grace and Peace to you -james

The “child” Jesus WAS the Mighty God AND Everlasting Father at the same time!!! Hence the explanation Jesus gives to Phillip, which makes this crystal clear: John 14:9-10 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. ONE PERSON, ONE GOD, manifested as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. ONE SAVING NAME, JESUS!!!

Dr Bernard is quite right to point out that the greetings in Paul's letters should certainly not be understood in Trinitarian terms. He rightly highlights that Paul sends greetings from only two (never three) and Paul differentiates between the Lord God (Yahweh) and the Lord messiah, Jesus. Indeed, one is the God of the other (2 Cor 1 :3; Eph 1 :3) But having just said that we should try to understand this as first century Jewish and gentile Christians would, he then projects his own presupposition on the text. If we just read all of Paul's greetings - and I suggest you do- we will clearly see that Paul differentiated between God and Jesus. One is the Lord God (YHWH) and the other is the lord messiah(Jesus). They are two different entities, two different beings. One is the eternal God; the other is the messiah who died on the cross and was raised to sit at the right hand of God. The Jesus of the gospels had a God and prayed to him. (Mat 6 :9,10). The resurrected Jesus had a God. (John 20 :17 ). The glorified Jesus in heaven itself still has a God.(Rev 3 :12) Reject Dr Bernard's false teachings !

According to scriptural scholars the words " Father,Son,and Holy Spirit" were most likely added by the Roman Catholic church replacing Jesus' words," In my name" to support their trinity doctrine.

God is the father of Jesus. That doesn’t mean that the father wasn’t in Jesus. Jesus is only called the son of God because the Spirit of God caused the conception: Luke 1:35: 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Called the son of God because the spirit caused his birth and yet the fullness of God was in him, read Colossians 2:9

“Then comes the end, when he (Jesus) delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For “God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him. When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.” 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 ESV There is clearly a distinction between the Father and Son in Paul’s theology.

Plus, "God the Holy Spirit" hardly ever gets any attention from these cultish Trinitarians. Shouldn't "God the Holy Spirit" get more respect??? He doesn't even have a distinctive name like the other two, and they seem to hog all the glory. The other two never talk to him either! It's just not fair! The problem with Trinity is how could be that God the Father and the Son are consubstantial and co-equal. The Bible does not say that God and the Son are made of the same substance. God had begotten the Son from what? Did the Son came from the body of God so that the Son could be of same substance as the Father. Their essence could be different as one has no beginning being unbegotten;the other was begotten by the unbegotten. They are both divine or God but the Father Almighty is greater than what he has begotten. as the Son said, my Father is greater than I. In John 6:38 Jesus said for I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. This is not a statement of co-equality. What could be misinterpreted that the Father and Son are co-equal is that since all authority has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth(Matt.28:18 ) including the power to give eternal life(John 17:2) The Son is now considered co-equal of the Father. There is a law giver (God )who can bestow power and authority (to Jesus) without this law giver the Son can be powerless.

Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that He would lie, Nor a son of man, that He would change His mind; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. 1 Samuel 15:29 Also the Glory of Israel will not lie nor change His mind; for He is not a man, that He would change His mind.” Clearly from reading the above passages God does not lie nor does He ever change. The puzzling thing I see here is God (first person of the Trinty) says that He is not a son of man. Jesus (second person) on the other hand claimed to be the Son of God and the Son of man. How is this possible? How can God the Father say He is not a man or a son of man, yet Jesus was born a man, lived as a man, died as a man, and claimed He was the Son of man. John 14:17 the Spirit of truth, (third person) whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. John 15:26 When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father--the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father--He will testify about Me. Here we read Jesus is promising His disciples that He will send from His Father another Helper, Advocate, who has already been with them and will eventually live inside them. The Greek word used for another ἄλλον (allon) means Strong's 243: Other, another (of more than two), different. A primary word; 'else, ' i.e. Different. Again, the second person of the Trinity is sending from the first person a third person. One God, three persons. We don't have to be an audience from the day of Jesus or Paul to understand these verses. It is no more difficult to believe the doctrine of the Trinity than it is to believe Jesus was 100% God and also 100% man.

The Oneness churches have recognized that and considerably relaxed them, most of their churches holiness standards, though some still hold on to them. Find an apostolic pentecostal church that has relaxed them, I have.

No trinity exists. It was not understood that God in Person sends the Spirit, but that Spirit is the SAME GOD (almighty) who is a spirit, NOT A THIRD PERSON (this is why Jesus NEVER MENTIONS a THIRD person with Him!). Thus no third person exists. The "Spirit of God" (aka Holy Spirit) is actually originated by God (the "normal" God) who is AWAY in a distant dimension "No man has seen God at any time." "the world did not know you". You can see in the gospels that EVERYTHING is carried out by that Spirit here on earth, NOT PERSONALLY by God: the Spirit of God dealt with Mary's pregnancy, spoke when Jesus was baptized, led Jesus into the desert, later helped Him in speaking too. Further, the Spirit of God ("Spirit of your Father") also helped the apostles in speaking. "God is a spirit" (Jn. 4:24) i.e. the only one Spirit who is present here is God, almighty.

Eventually, Paul would say simply that, "I preach Christ and Him crucified."! Where in the bible are believers even instructed to define the mysterious essence of God? Maybe that's none of our business? I certainly can't see the doctrine of the trinity being crucial to our salvation or to our calling.

In the old testament, God was Spirit/ Spirit, Soul ,and Body. When He was manifested in the flesh, He became Spirit/ spirit, soul, and body. When He rose from the dead, and was glorified, He once again became Spirit/Spirit,Soul,and Body. God has always had a duality of Spirit ,which is one Spirit. In the mind of God, when it comes to Himself and His children,spiritually, 1+1=1.

The Following Scriptures Prove Who Jesus Really Is And That He Is Much More Than Just The Son Of God. Deuteronomy 6:4, “Hear O Israel: the Lord our God is ONE Lord.” Then several thousand years later Jesus said in John 10:30, “I and my Father are ONE.” Exodus 3:13-14 states that before Moses came down from the mountain with the Ten Commandments he asked God who shall he say sent him. God said I AM THAT I AM, tell them I AM SENT YOU. Then several thousand years later Jesus said in John 8:58 "Verily, verily I say unto you, before Abraham was, "I AM." God did not reveal what His name was until Matthew 1:23-25, "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted, GOD WITH US." 25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her first born son and called his name JESUS." Jesus said in John 17:21, “That they all may be one, as thou art in ME, and I in YOU, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that you have sent me.” Matthew 26:15 states that Judas Iscariot (the disciple that betrayed Jesus), “What will you give me if I will deliver him to you? And they (the Chief Priests) weighed out 30 pieces of silver.” Note back in Zechariah 11:12 in the Old Testament it says, “And I said unto them, If you think good, give ME my price and if not forbear. So they weighed for my price 30 pieces of silver.” Note that is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob talking about HIMSELF after He became a MAN and before He was crucified. It says in John 19:34, “But one of the Soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came out blood and water. “Note back in Zechariah 12:10 it says, “....and they shall look upon ME whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him...” Also in Zechariah 13:6 it says, “And one shall say to him (Jesus), What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those are which I was wounded in the house of my friends.” Psalms 22:16, “For dogs have compassed me, the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me, they pierced my hands and my feet.” Also in the Old Testament - Isaiah 53:5, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our piece was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed.” Note that is the FATHER of the Old Testament referring to HIMSELF as He was hanging on the cross. Mark 15:24, “And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots for them, what every man should take.” Note back in Psalms 22:18 in the Old Testament it says, “They part my garments among them and cast lots upon my vesture.” Note that is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob referring to HIMSELF as He was hanging on the cross. Acts 7:59, "And they stoned Stephen, calling upon GOD, and saying LORD JESUS, receive my spirit." John 19:29, “Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar, and they filled a sponge with vinegar and put it on a hyssop, and put it to his mouth.” Note back in Psalms 69:21 it says, “They gave ME also gall for my meat and in my thirst they gave ME vinegar to drink.” Jesus said in John 5:39, “Search the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life, and they are they which testify of ME.” Jesus is referring to the scriptures in the Old Testament which are referring to HIMSELF before he took on flesh and became a man. (John 1:1, 10 and 14) Paul said in Galatians 1:12 that he was not taught by any man but was taught directly by Jesus himself, which means that whatever Paul said was exactly what Jesus told him to say. Paul said in Hebrews 1:8, “But unto the SON he saith, Thy throne O GOD is forever and ever.” Jesus said in John 12:44-45, “He that believes on me believes not on me, BUT ON HIM THAT SENT ME. 45 And he that sees ME sees HIM that sent ME.” John 14:8-10, “Philip said to Jesus, Lord, show us the Father and it will satisfy us. 9 Jesus said unto him, Have I been so long a time with you and yet you have not known me Philip? He that has seen me HAS SEEN THE FATHER, and how do you say now, show us the Father?” 10 Believe thou not that I am in the Father and the Father in me? The words I speak unto you I speak not of myself, but the Father that DWELLS IN ME - HE DOES THE WORKS.” Jesus said in John 14:28, “....for my Father is greater than I.” In other words, that paragraph is saying that the flesh and blood man Jesus did not heal the sick or raise the dead - the FATHER which dwelt INSIDE Him did those works, which He and the Father are ONE, which explains why Jesus said the Father is greater than he is. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:19, “To wit that God was IN Christ, reconciling the world unto HIMSELF." Paul said in Colossians 2:8-10, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in HIM dwells all the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily. 10 And you are complete in HIM (Jesus), which is the head of all principality and power.” The Godhead is IN Jesus - JESUS IS THE GODHEAD. Jesus said in Matthew 23:37, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that killed the prophets and stoned them which are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered your children together even as a hen gathered chickens under her wings, and you would not listen!” That is a very interesting scripture because Jesus is speaking as the flesh and blood man he was at that time but ALSO speaking as the FATHER (they are ONE) and referring to a time long before Jesus was born. In the book of Revelation, all of the following is JESUS speaking: Rev. 1:8, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which is to come, the ALMIGHTY.” Rev. 1:17-18, “And when I saw him (John speaking) I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not, I am the first and the last. 18 I am he that lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore. Amen, and have the keys of hell and of death.” Rev. 2:7, “He that has an ear, let him hear what the SPIRIT says unto the Churches....” Rev. 2:8, “And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write - These things says the first and the last, which was dead and is alive.” Rev. 2:11, “He that has an ear let him hear what the SPIRIT says unto the Churches....” Rev. 21:6-7, “And he said unto me, (John), It is done, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the waters of life freely. 7 He that overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his GOD, and he shall be my SON.” All the scriptures above prove the ONENESS of God and that there is no such thing as the Trinity. We get the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost in the Name Jesus, which is why every time water Baptism was done in the Name Jesus, or in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, meaning Jesus name was invoked at baptism, which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7-8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16. At no time did Jesus disciples use any combination of the words Father, Son, and Holy Ghost when they baptized anyone in water, or use a combination of those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. If you are convinced you need to get Baptized in water in Jesus Name and get Baptized with the Holy Ghost, do a search, type in "United Pentecostal Church International", scroll slightly down to just below the red box, type in your zip code, then a screen will show a Church nearest you that will do that. If you do that you will making SURE your name is written in the Lamb's Book Of Life. Jesus said in Matthew 24:4,"Take heed that no man deceives you." Jesus also said in John 10:27,"My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."

The New Testament can be understood much more clearly if you keep in mind what Dr Bernard was pointing out. Much of it was written to convince and reinforce the truth of the manifestation of God in the flesh and the necessity of believing in Jesus for salvation. 1Jn 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also Exactly as Dr Bernard explained, it was no longer good enough to say I believe in the eternal, invisible God. If we believe in Jesus, we have the Father, but if we neglect Jesus we have no access to the Father.

Where is the missing Holy Spirit and all these passages? How come you people don't believe what the scripture says to us there is but one God the Father! There is no such thing as a trinity it's not in the Bible or god the son or god the Holy Spirit they aren't either nor first person, second person, third person, persons, three persons. You make up extra biblical terms and think that that supports your position it doesn't. Why are you exactly like Mormons or Seventh Day Adventists with extra biblical words and phrases as they are with their books and writings they count as such?? Tell us who was God in John 1:1.?

Convincing argument for me is there is no such thing called the Trinity tri-unity first person second person third person three persons persons or got the sun god the Holy Ghost eternal son Triune deity all of that is man-made philosophy. His explanation is too deep for trinitarian to understand they are blinded to the truth and follow Catholicism in a Triad or polytheism or specifically Tritheism. This is why David Bernard crushes a trinitarian in debates. Trinitarians do not believe in one God they believe in three God as in the word sheep you could say one two sheep three sheep, thus you could say one god two god three god. I know that trinitarians never tell us who God is in John 1:1 Cuz they don't know what or who God is! Trinitarians are part of mystery Babylon the great the mother of harlots and the abominations of the earth Revelation 17:5. They have been Godless murderers ever since they started. Catholics killed millions CS Lovett says 50 to 68 million. Protestant so they didn't kill as many definitely killed their fair share to show they were never true Christians but a false teaching religious sect of mother Rome.

John : 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Joh 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. Jesus Is Equal with God Joh 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. The Authority of the Son Joh 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. Joh 5:20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. Joh 5:21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. Joh 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: Philippians 2: 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Colossians 1:15-20 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. The Rider on a White Horse Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

I think this could be interpreted as follow. There are different dimensions, we live in a 3 dimensional space, there's another dimensional space, the spiritual that we cannot see because we are restricted with our dimensional space, the only way we could see God is to become in our space. So he gave his son that is the same God but "manifested in flesh". Now, we can debate for years. At the end the conclusion is only one GOD not three. However, I do debate with oneness pentecostal members because the are being indoctrinated that everybody else is pagan, its like cursing your brethen.

Just because it had to be clarified due to heretical modalism, does not mean that it was invented. You act like people in the first century received the word of God and simultaneously had a complete understanding of it all. Their understanding would come through reading and studying. (Eph 3:4; 2 Tim 2:15). Its amazing that people who claim to have modern day inspiration disagree with the other pentecostals on this issue. I smell something fishy...

The Word says that God ( the Father), is an " invisible Spirit", ( Col, 1:15) as well as in many other sctiptures. The Holy Spirit is also invisible who is refered to as "the Spirit of God" and the " the Spirit of Christ"( Rom. 8:9) So, God is not a trinity of persons, but one person, Jesus Christ, who has a duality of Spirit/spirit. As Jesus told his apostles, " If you have seen me then you have seen the Father"( John 14:9). So for all intents and purposes Jesus Christ is God. "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily,"( Col.2:9).

The problem in Oneness belief is on the last day when the Lord Jesus will return. Its(Oneness) teaching must add these imaginary words : The Holy Spirit must come out from ALL believers and go to heaven to become Jesus Christ again and to come down again to those believers who do not have His Holy Spirit. Does Jesus have to become Holy Spirit again and enter/dwell to believers to make them His again on that day of His return? But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans 8:9

Paul didn't believe Jesus is God? Please read Acts 9:4-5, “He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?” “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. And the voice replied, “I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting!”

And immediately he began preaching about Jesus in the synagogues, saying, “He is indeed the Son of God!” All who heard him were amazed. “Isn’t this the same man who caused such devastation among Jesus’ followers in Jerusalem?” they asked. “And didn’t he come here to arrest them and take them in chains to the leading priests?” Saul’s preaching became more and more powerful, and the Jews in Damascus couldn’t refute his proofs that Jesus was indeed the Messiah.” Either you've not read these passages before, or you're trolling. To me, just taking out the added word “The” makes it non-Trinitarian. “God, our Father and Lord, Jesus Christ.” Without the extra “the”, it sounds similar to how Thomas addresses Jesus after the resurrection. “My Lord and My God.” Jesus is God the Father manifested in the flesh, and every tongue will confess that He is Lord, and the Bible is clear that there is only ONE Lord.

First of all, I don't think I've ever heard a Trinitarian use the greetings to *prove* the Trinity. It's just that the consistency with which Paul distinguishes Father and Son seems unexpected given Oneness theology. Second, this explanation never even deals with these verses: 2 Corinthians 1:3 (ESV): Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, Ephesians 1:3 (ESV): Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 1 Peter 1:3 (ESV): Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, The preposition "of" shows that he's not just redundantly identifying the same person. Prepositions are constantly used throughout the New Testament to distinguish the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The main thing Oneness Pentecostals need to realize is that they've been lied to with regard to what Trinitarians believe. Absolutely *NO* Trinitarian would *EVER* say there are 3 Gods. Mormons are not Trinitarian, they are polytheists. Every description of the doctrine of the Trinity ever written has started with the truth that, "There is only one God." But Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are clearly depicted as *relating* to one another, and distinguished by prepositions, and even plural pronouns from Jesus' own mouth. Thus the term "three persons." Person does not mean a separate body, but a distinct self capable of relation with another. We just have to humbly let the Word of God speak to us rather than trying to force our particular understanding of who God must be onto the text.

I would day you have also been lied to. The reason why the video doesn't tackle those verses is because Oneness believers believe that Jesus is the Son of God. That's not a stumbling block for us. However, we understand that is referring to the incarnation alone, God manifested I'm flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). The only distinction between the Father and Son is the human nature the Son possesses.

In Jn 1:18 None has seen God at any time. However in Exodus 33:23 Moses sees God. How is this possible unless Moses saw the eternal Son of God? It doesn't say no one at any time has seen God's face. It says has not seen God at ANY time but the only begotten Son he has declared him John 1:18 (KJV) No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. Exodus 33:23 (KJV) And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Before the Trinity was invented, and Pentecost came out from the Trinity movement, the early church taught that there was God and the man Christ, Jesus, not God as the man Christ Jesus. Oneness is just another form of trinitarianism by teaching hypostatic union as the Trinitarians do.

Who coined the word trinitas or trinity and who formulated the doctrine of the trinity? Is Jesus the mystery, the revelation and the glory of God or is it the trinity?
@marinamagluyan65662 жыл бұрын
Yes, Because there is always a distinction between God the Father of Jesus Christ who is the eternally decreed Begotten Son of God the Father (Psalm 2:7). God the Holy the Holy Spirit I always the witness of God the Son. He is the eternal anointing of JESUS, the Only Begotten Son (John 1:18; 3:16-21,36); thus JESUS IS THE CHRIST (MESSIAH). God the Father is absolutely NOT THE CHRIST, the Anointed One. Jesus Christ is always the overall Mediator-Great Eternal High Priest of Elohim. And JESUS is the Exclusive Name of the only Begotten Son, NOT the name of God the Father neither of the Holy Spirit. GOD IS ALWAYS ELOHIM in Genesis 1:26. ELOHIM is always PLURAL IN FORM, in USAGE and in MEANING because of the predication of the PERSONAL PRONOUNS “US” and “OUR” to ELOHIM. God the Father is NOT the VISIBLE ALMIGHTY LORD GOD who is, who was and who is to come in Revelation 1:8,17-18. JESUS CHRIST is NOT GOD THE FATHER but the Everlasting Father (Isaiah 9:6). There are three that bear witness to the truth always in heaven, the FATHER, and the WORD, JESUS CHRIST, the decreed Begotten Son (Ps. 2:7) and the Holy Spirit. And these three are one (in essence of Being, that is, GOD (Elohim) not EL OR ELOAH. (1 John 5:7). How can Onenesses justify GOD IS LOVE when He exists only as a Singular Person? How can Onenesses explain there is an everlasting covenant when their God is only a Single Person? A covenant cannot stand if there’s only a Single Person Godkind. That’s contradicts the doctrine, teachings and sayings of Jesus Christ, the SON of the Living God. How will the SON JESUS THE ANOINTED OF THE ETERNAL SPIRIT confess the believer’s name to God His Father in Revelation 3:5 when there’s only JESUS CHRIST in eternity as God the Father of Onenesses? It does not do Justice to the teachings & revelations of JESUS as the Anointed Prophet, King and Priest of God.
