I call that Thick spaghetti lol. I grew up on that and I’ve always made my spaghetti that way, and I learned an ingredient that kicks it up a notch . Add graded Parmesan to the cook meat sauce . You won’t believe the difference .

lol my favorite A.D.D. couple....ok I use a larger strainer round spatula thingy....it's called a Skimmer Spoon/Strainer Ladle it picks up tons of meat at one time that you can put in your strainer.

Katie… so many things, girl lol. Number one… get a paper towel, fold it a couple times. Grab an end with your tongs and wiggle it around in your skillet - soaks up all that grease without breaking your arms doing what you did lol. Speaking of tongs… for pasta you need to get you one of the kind that has the solid silicone tips to deal with pasta. Much, much easier. Oh… and break the damn noodles. Who cares what people say?! Lol it’s all going to the same place and you’re not serving food in a fine dining Italian place. You’re serving your family. It tastes good, that’s all they care about. Ok. That’s the end of my Tedtalk lol. Dinner looked good… and yes, I cannot believe how big the kids are getting. I remember tiny baby Gaines… the prettiest girl baby in a gang of boys from Vlogger families. ❤️

Fold up some paper towel put it in the meat using the meat basher thing you had. Will soak it up right in the pan! Throw the paper towel in the bin!

Don’t rinse your spaghetti!! The starch on it is what makes the sauce stick and get all up in the noodles. If you rinse them the sauce just slips off.
