Приднестровье, пришкольный, приморье - the prefix means attachment, approximation (mostly for the verbs): Приехал, припарковался, приклеил, пришёл - the prefix means that the action is not completed or it is completed slightly (mostly for verbs): Прикрыл, притронулся, the noun привкус (a shade of вкус, taste) As for pre: - when prefix means excess or exaggeration of the word: Прекрасный (очень красивый/хороший (красный used to mean красивый long ago)), превеликий, превосходный - when the meaning of prefix is close to "pere". And pere- has a lot of meanings, so that's a tough one for a foreigner: преступник (ПЕРЕступает over law), прерывать (ПЕРЕрывать) - the word can have a Roman root and prefix (like in this very word prefix - префикс, compare to Russian прИставка with that attachment shade of meaning. And, of course, a whole lot of words with unclear meaning, like прикол (prunk), притворство (pretense)... Good luck.

Ofc we have a whole bunch of shorter slang versions of various words :) For example: вообще => ваще здравствуйте => здрасте привет => прет здарова => даров жизненно => жиза очень => оч спокойной ночи => спок спасибо => пасиб => сяп человек => чел подъезд => падик вариант => варик информация => инфа and so on... but again, this is all just slang and Russian doesn't have 2 versions of the language like British English and American, because there's no other Russian speaking country on a different continent lol.

"поехали" means - "we started go" Past tense here because you are very close to starting to go, in your mind you already started, but not physically yet. При-ехали almost same as До-ехали - Both mean you reached destination. But При means you not just reached your destination, but more about that it's YOU arrived, where ДО more means the fact that someone ARRIVED.

It would be something like "He walked past near me" like that. We still would need a preposition though, even though it does mean "to go past". A sentence Он прошёл меня wouldn't make sense, it's as if he COMPLETED you (the 1st meaning mentioned in the video)

You actually can use just the verb in some cases. for example, я уже прошёл (через) парк, скоро приду. but через is missed here. the meaning here is "walk through", as the action is completed, but the "through" can be missed in a conversational form. я прошел (через) лес, парк, площадь, коридор, мост.

Правильно "мы переехали в новый дом", но "мы переехали на новую квартиру". Это я как носитель языка говорю. Почему именно так, объяснить и понять сложно... Видимо, "на" пишется только с женским родом
