I've never done a "hold my beer" joke before, as they are a bit overused. But perhaps it is justified now. Coach: You need to put your light pieces on safe squares, defended by pawns. Wesley: Hold my bishops.

Excellent game, which shows that Bishop outside the chain for black is just bad. Feels natural true, but I tried it once, got demolished on the kingside because bishop was way across in Siberia. Never again...

@@bicyclethief I am not saying it's lost, I am saying it is incredibly risky to put your bishop away from your kingside(in Spanish as black) unless you are very very good player.

Superbly powerful. In contrast Magnus strategy for Daniil is to play his padawan Daniil to end game, where Daniil is lacking. Wesley played Daniil on his game. nail-biting, no hold bar complication. Daniil take note with angst and fear.

With so much space all over the board, bishops, rooks and Queens flying all over the place, amazingly sharp and complex with tactics everywhere. Wesley in great form at the moment.
