What questions needs to be asked to get the prospect to overcome this objection and go get the funds for your solution?!?!!?

Prospect: i dont have the money. You: I understand….tell me, if you did have the money is this something it would work for you? Prospect: yes! You: why do you think it would work though? Prospect: well i think it would be nice to have X, Y and Z. You: well I understand that money might be an issue from what you told me…how do you think you can find the funding/money so that you can get X? Prospect: well I don’t know… You: what other avenues do you have to find the money, so that you can get Y? Prospect: (if they still don’t find a way) i dont know… You: well let me make a suggestion. A lot of people/other companies find the money by doing A, B and C. What of these avenues do you have?

I understand, that’s not a problem… if you did have the funding would this be something you would like to move forward in? Funding aside, why do you believe that this would work well for you
