How do you Repair a Volvo V70/S60 Window Mechanism? 🤔

Simple "how to" video showing you how to repair the window regulator in a Volvo V70 using very basic tools - not the motor... this is a problem with the regulator itself.

Thanks for your brilliant video mate. My window dropped, turned out both arms had popped off and one of the plastic clips had fallen into the door. Not the metal clips thankfully. I managed a repair anyway. All sorted now. Thanks again

once it pops out of the blue slider block its compromised, the blue plastic slider is cheap to buy even at the dealer.

Yep - easy to find and cheap to buy… you should definitely always replace if you can; as I mentioned before though, this will get you out of trouble if you can’t get them until the next day - even if only to hold the window closed until the new ones arrive

You are very welcome! If there is a known problem, I would definitely recommend getting some replacement plastic pieces in advance - they are pretty inexpensive, and that way you can be sure that the job will not need to be done again soon! Thanks for watching!

I just received the clips mate, I’ll tackle it when the rain stops. Hopefully the regulator arm is ok I’ll test it before reinstalling everything. I will be using this guide haha
