@@stiegelzeine2186 Interesting tidbit, but still, he speaks Dutch so he knows what is referred to. It's not the same language, so the Dutch try to differentiate a bit from other cultures but foreigners still think our language sounds or looks like German.

There's something else that deserves to be mentioned: your attitude. Your Spanish needs some work, but thanks to your confidence, you get to be perfectly understandable and engaging. It's magnetic, no wonder so many people wanna talk to you. I do believe that the confidence should be taught on language courses, that is, how to forget about shyness and just freely express yourself

I recommend to start with Mandarin first, it has one of the easiest grammar of any language, don't worry about tones those become easy, only struggle is the thousands of characters

Korean alphabet is really really easy, probably one of the easiest I learn how to read it in a 5 minutes video, took me 30 minutes to memorize it, but now I can read anything in Korean (just read, but have no clue the meaning hauah)
