The first thing I do is jump out of bed and start praying in tongues 1 Corinthians 14:2 It does wonders for my spirit. ( a firing up of the spirit) It's a wonderful way to start the day. Keep praying in tongues until you feel the Presence of the Holy Spirit come. Then be led by how the Holy Spirit decrees. Write down issues you may want to pray about and bring them up as you are led. And during the day pray as you are reminded consciously or speak little prayers of thanks Ephesians 6:18 keeping it simple, whether at work or study, shopping etc

A lot of people can't pray in tongues. And boasting about doing so and your jumping out of bed immediately into prayer isn't helpful to anyone. And also, people please beware of taking advice from people who follow Kenneth Copeland and his ministries. As Pastor John has said, take it to the Lord. Not every prayer life will look the same and will go through seasons. Lord, help us keep our guard us against wolves and give us discernment of who to listen to from the power of the holy spirit. Thank you.

You Cannot Structure a prayer life. You cannot Lie to God. God Already knows what you are thinking and how you are feeling about everything. That IS your Prayer! He is not impressed with Contrived Words..if they are not True.

Of course you can structure a prayer life where you pray at set times and in set circumstances. Taking specific times to pray to God - isn't that what most people do each day.

God already knows what we are thinking, and yet consider that Jesus also prayed. God wants us to speak to him and also to be in a posture to hear from Him. It's important to set time aside for prayer.
