I can actually see this happening with the scene opening up with a normal Ben Grimm (before the transformation) walking down the street with a hotdog in his hand (possibly listening to this song on his Walkman, still debating whether to have it or not) and then he bumps into non other than Reed Richards, getting mustard on his clothes, “Hey, watch it I’m walking here” he says angrily. “Oh. S-sorry about that” Richard’s says apologetically. Still workshopping with how the dialogue would play out, but it would lead to the beginning of Reed and Ben’s friendship.

Dr. Doom deserves something more menacing for his first appearance but having this be in a scene with him would he cool later in the film or in a later project.
