I am very, very sorry for your loss and I really feel your regrets and thoughts around all the happened. I myself lost my granny a month ago... the night after her 85th birthday. She was the most important person all over the world to me (beside my children). Usually my family doesn't like getting photographed or filmed, so it isn't a thing we do much in our family. But when I was at my grandma's house the last time before her passing I took three photos of her... don't know why, just felt like doing so. And now I'm so relieved that I did, because I have pics that show her how she really was. Sometimes it's the bigger picture, like you said... 'cause at that moment I didn't thought much about it. Also... my life isn't very interesting, so it wouldn't be worth just one video to vlog it, but... it motivates me to think about my life and what I want seeing vlogs or shots like yours... your thoughts, adventures, life... it all show me that there's so much much... and I can feel the joy, the fun and all the other feelings you felt while filming all things happening... and that's what storytelling is for me! It's not about the perfect shot, it's about transporting feelings... and this is what you can do very, very well. So, thank you for creating videos and I'm looking forward to whatever comes next. :)
@VlogwithKing3 жыл бұрын
Wow, I'm so sorry for you loss LeeZet. Thank you so much for your vulnerability and sharing your thoughts. It's so powerful to know that a few photos of someone could make a difference. It's as you were reminded to capture and cherish those moments you had together. Yeah, having an interesting life is not so easy with how amazing everyone's life seems online, haha, which is why I think documenting for ourselves first and foremost is important. Although, I would argue that even the mundane can mean so much more after it's documented. It's the little things that we usually forget, that end up putting a smile on our faces. And btw, I love Love LOVE how you put it, "it's about transporting feelings..." Thanks again for all the care and thought you share.
@LeeZetLMG3 жыл бұрын
@@VlogwithKing Thank you! Yeah, I think your video today reminded me how lucky I am to have these memories now... these photos that no one other could have had made in that very moment. And it's really nice pictures of my granny... seeing her how she was, humble, a bit shy, but also a funny and unbelievable nice person... you can see it in those pictures and I'm sure it will help with our grieve to see how happy she was before passing away. Maybe I should give this 1 second a day videoing a try, just for myself... just to remember how my children were when I'll look back to those videos some years from now. Maybe this could be an experience I can't imagine now. :-) Like you said... usually it's the little things... and most times those things are those who are the most important to us... the ones that make us lucky the most. Have a wonderful time and enjoy your little and bigger experiences.
