How does color aura photography work? 📸🌈

What's it like to have your aura photographed? How does it work? Why do the colors show up? I'm ~so~ glad you asked, fellow quarantined friend. I'm sharing my experience, as well as a brief history of this rad form of portraiture.
Since I'm enduring a bit of cabin fever in quarantine (and I have a little more time on my hands) I thought I'd have some fun with this video! This is an experience I had in January, long before the lock down in NYC. Be safe out there!

I've worked with Guy Coggins back in the 2000's out of his office in Redwood City, CA. I was not involved with the readings but I did some engineering R&D for him. The way the picture is made is through a double exposure on polaroid film. The hand plate mainly reads GSR (Galvanic Skin Response) and inside the camera box lights up bulbs with the colors based on your bio-readings. The operator takes a regular picture of you then flips the mirror to do the double expose with the lights... so the aura you see is artificially produced, but it is based on how people that do aura readings actually see them around people; so it's not completely fake (in case you worried) It took many years of research to get the colors and the readings to match up and of course there's a digital version of this camera as well. Today Guy is retired and someone else is running the business.

As an engineer I enjoy figuring out how we can use technology to help us tap into those fields... just beware there's a lot of junk stuff out there that is hokum and fake, so beware of specious claims. Even so... there's some value to having those adventures, like going out to get your aura picture taken. They give us insights that can help us with our lives, and/or grow spiritually, there is so much we don't know. I know most of my collogues don't believe in a spiritual realm or the paranormal... but as an experiencer myself I've experienced too many things to be so easily dismissive, I know we are more than physical beings and there's more in this world than we know. What kind of camera do they use?

@@idayiakandel7391 I am not sure which one he used, it was a polaroid camera, but the magic was inside the box... the lights had to be tuned just right to react with chemistry of the film and to get the aura colors to match and all that was a real challenge... he told me some of the process, and it wasn't simple and took a lot of trial and error to come up with the right formula. I don't actually know the formula he used, I'm sure he wants to keep that a secret... but it was dipping the bulbs in a combination of glass tints a number of times like 30x to make one blue bulb. And the other issue is balancing the colors. You might think LEDS are better, they're not and react differently on a film than what you see with your eye.

Mine is so similar to yours and I'm a Libra! Mine had orange above the magenta pink and my blue was very blue above my head with 5 yellowish green dots over my head in an arc. I also had indigo just like yours and over my heart was the same yellowish green dot.

I just got mine taken today and my friend's results were green and yellow. I thought my colors were also going to be mixed and it all came out to be a pure blue all around. I was disappointed I didn't get all those pretty different colors lol.

Interesting! I think it might change based on a number of circumstances so it might depend on what happened in those few hours. Body temperature, heart rate, and other things can impact the image. I'm planning to get one at the end of the year to see how mine differs from January!

I tried to learn to see auras and I can slightly see the auras of other people. But not mine…I don’t know what is his color…I am just so disappointed, I guess I don’t have any aura.
