I really appreciate your comment. I honestly had a hard time finding a way to get any kind of measurement that everyone could see. This method is not exact but it really gives you the big picture. I know that 100 times per load might sound like a lot, but it’s not that bad. All in all it’s 400 rolls and it took a few hours. Hopefully it serves its purpose. Thank you.

@@FrownyGaming I just used a larval tear and noticed equip load for endurance 1st softcap is at 25 and not 23. I still received 1.6 equip load for 24 and 25. The 26th point dropped down to only net me 1.00 equip load. I don't know if this got changed recently after your video, but just a heads up!

This is a godsend for my build since I can quickly figure out how much endurance I need to wear my armor, and have my greatsword equipped. On a side note the overencumbered roll was hilarious! I hope there's a frame of invincibility on it. Nothing would make me happier than to see my character dodging at least one thing with that.

Can't believe I just now found this video. As I've said on my comment in another video, Heavy load CAN work, but it relies on using mechanics other than dodge rolling to properly utilize. Heavier armor pieces add more poise, allowing you to power through attacks with your own attacks. Because of this, heavy weight builds thrive on Vigor and damage above all else to make each swing worth its weight, emphasis on weight because Great Swords and anything in the colossal category excel in this category, which really kinda makes sense especially with how you're limited in stamina as well, I mean surely you can't just keep swinging something THAT big and still have so much energy to spare. I've personally used Ruins Great Sword's Wave of Destruction Ash of War to respond to magic dragons and other "big attacks" that leave attackers immobile, as it has great poise. While I have yet to mess around with PURE Strength or STR/DEX, I would guess it would be good to have a knife as a left hand for a quicker attack to disrupt the opponent or utilizing a low recovery swipe to bait an attack to poise through. However, at least with Radahn's armor and bull goat's talisman, my attacks don't quite poise through other colossal weapons and some spears, halberds, and great hammers, etc.

What I have found is that there are plenty of resources to maintain a Medium Load, and still have great Poise and Damage Absorption. Specially if you are focusing on PvE. I honetly do not believe that pushing into a Heavy Load yields much benefit. Thank you for your comment.

3:48 this because I remember getting what’s 0.4 equip load after going past level 35 on release now I’m back to getting a 1 of equip load even upwards interlopers 45 I think they realize that kind of doesn’t do much, unless you have a quick load of like 100 in which case you could light roll around with 35 weight

The way it is set up now, it allows players to make a full investment in Endurance in order to use their preferred equipment, while maximizing the efficiency of the Rune Levels. Players can remain around 23 Endurance while being able to use almost everything in the game. As such, other points can go elsewhere. In my opinion, it is a good system that enforces doing fun things. On the other hand, if a player wants to overclock their Endurance in order to use absurdly heavy equipment together, they can still do so without suffering too much of a penalty. I believe that they hit a good balance. Thank you for your comment.

This advice comes from a casual gamer who doesn't ever plan to roll a new character just because I don't have the mental energy to start another one from scratch, but still wants to have 3 good different pvp fits at near the meta level. (my skilling is pvp first pve secondary) My thoughts are people should plan their build initially by low-balling your endurance level and only level it up only once you battle test your preferred pvp fit and can quantify the gain you'll get from going up. Use great jars arsenal, erdtrees favor and bull goats talisman to make up any difference in endurance for fitting purpose. Be sure you understand what you get fit wise from going up. Does it let you free a talisman slot, does it let you use a nicer weapon? Also make sure you evaluated all your equipment options before ever adding a point to endurance pour over the armor, weapons and other items. Learn your options the information is invaluable. That way fundamentals like health and having at least one peak damage stat get the care they need and you truly only get the endurance that is completely essential to your actual build.
@FrownyGaming2 жыл бұрын
I agree with a lot of this. Every time I make a build, I start with Equip Load. See what weapons/armor I will use and try to keep Endurance at a minimum. It’s a lot of research beforehand, but it makes a big difference. Thank you for your comment.

When mid rolling I noticed I was taking chip damage from stars of ruin. Normally at light load I take no damage and so I wondered if my taking damage had something to do with my stamina getting low whilst rolling?
@FrownyGaming Жыл бұрын
Light rolling travels a longer distance than mid-rolling. It is very good. That is probably why you were able to avoid the chip damage from Stars of Ruin. If you can build for light rolling, it is an incredibly good tool to have. Thank you for your comment.

I'm confused, I thought 60 was the softcap, nvm I better watch the whole video before commenting haha I would never go under 60 indurance, since I want to be able to powerstance many weapons without to be heavyloaded and being forced to use a talisman to lower it

Ive seen videos where players have long endurance bars. Whats the benefit to that?
@FrownyGaming Жыл бұрын
More Endurance means you can block more, block stronger attacks, and perform more actions (attacks, jumping, etc.) before needing to manage the stamina bar. It can be useful but, generally, I don't go for high Stamina numbers. Thank you for your comment.

Whats the best way to maximize endurance with weight when theres soft caps?
@FrownyGaming Жыл бұрын
In my opinion, the best way to maximize endurance is to have just enough to keep you under 70% for the mid-roll. The way I use it, I first make my build with weapons and armor in mind, and then I put the exact amount of Endurance I need for them. Thank you for your comment.

Fall damage or full damage?

@FrownyGaming I'm not understanding what you're saying. Does a heavy load increase fall damage or full damage?
@FrownyGaming5 ай бұрын
Alright, this is definitely my accent. Heavy load increases FALL DAMAGE. It is not much, but you will take a bit more fall damage when over 70% Equip Load. Sorry for the confusion.
@LecroixMystique005 ай бұрын
I'm convinced it also affect the running speed... have anyone noticed that?
@FrownyGaming5 ай бұрын
I don't believe that it affects running speed. At least, I did not notice a speed difference. That said, running with a heavier load will make the character look a bit more sluggish in its movements. Also, the stamina penalties with a heavier load will lead to your character running less distance. Thank you for your comment.

99 endurance and light roll is the correct answer lol
@FrownyGaming Жыл бұрын
Generally speaking, I would not level any Stat to 99, but Endurance is a Stat that I would specifically not level past the exact amount that I need to run my build. Light roll is very good now, but 99 is a huge stat investment for anything. Thank you for your comment.

@@DeoSiege percentage is a form of expressing the fraction amount/whole. 30% means that 30 out of 100 for example. Percentile is a quantile and is used in descriptive statistics. If we say that someone is 75th percentile in height, it means that there is 75% people smaller than them and 25% taller than them. It points to a point in a distribution. A special case of this is a Median which is 50th percentile. For example median in salaries is a salary that divides population in two groups of same sizes
