the slide locks each time when there is no bbs in it. and the reason we do that is because it is a testing standard to insure we give the same standards to all the guns we test!

We have not seen an analysis done in a methodical and scientific way like you guys do, it would be great to see it done so we can finally see if rhop/flat hop is still worth it now Maple Leaf are making buckings which basically do this already (MR bucking)

When I was younger I had been gifted a new GBB pistol for my birthday and also had the opportunity to go to my first airsoft field to use it, I was very disappointed when we got there and began to battle because my GBB pistol malfunctioned in spewed gas everywhere, this was because my birthday was in December and it was extremely cold outside as a result. I learned a very very valuable lesson to use GBB only during the summer.

what pistol/model is that and would you recommend it for a beginner? 2:40

I would say good starter guns can be Action army aap01/ WE glock/ Marui glock/ VFC Glock / Marui Hicapa. Those are all really popular pistols with many after market parts. I would say for a beginner pick something that many people use, this way when you run into problems it becomes a lot easier to solve them!

What if you put your empty GBB magazines in the fridge before filling them? Would they be filled as good as a propane gas container?
@4UADSmartAirsoft3 жыл бұрын
At low temperature you can fill a lot more liquid gas into the magazine, however this would cause the mag have less space for the liquid gas to evaporate and this would result liquid gas spitting out from the first few shots and all the pressure would be gone because of the extreme low temperature. In conclusion, they will be as good, but the performance would just be as bad :D

@4UADSmartAirsoft3 жыл бұрын
Many reason can happen, sometimes there could be a leakage in your air nozzle, sometimes it’s just the pressure inside the mag prevents the liquid from entering the mag. For that case press the gas release valve and charge gas for one sec and stop pressing the valve and charge the gas again, it would charge more liquid gas into it! Hope this helps

@4UADSmartAirsoft2 жыл бұрын
It really depends on how gas efficient your gbb is. A regular gas bottle would provide roughly 30-50 charges for me, and usually for a handgun it can fire 30-40 shots before you have to refill again. And for my rifle it’s around 50-80shots. Hope this helps in someway. Best of luck!

Duude can you try 100 meter sniper testing, what kind of bb weight to use, barrel diameter, hop type, barrel length and more. See how heavier bbs carry their energy further than light bbs. a 500 fps 0.20 will go faster, but loose its energy much faster than the 0.4 bb traveling at 350 fps, which does not slow down as fast, and travels further

Not a GBB myth, but I would love a comparison of different barrel widths. To make it perfectly fair I would suggest lapping all the barrels to get an equal internal finish. I used two different gasses so far, the Nuprol Red Gas which worked really well outside in colder temperatures kicked very hard once I played indoors and the gas I bought for indoors didn't work well outside, it didn't have alot of kick and it was really inefficient because it released a ton of vapour.

My Tokyo Marui plastic slided pistols work wonderfully in the cold. Every other brands I've used in the cold has been meh at best, or just plain didn't work. My TM 1911A1 on green gas shoots much better in the cold than CO2 pistols, which is really funny, considering how small the magazine is. A light slide, weaker springs and great engineering really makes a difference.
@stewbacca1173 жыл бұрын
Awesome stuff guys, great to see the internal workings laid bare like this. Maybe a more controlled firing system would help to? Using a solenoid driven electronically controlled striker so you can do varying RoF or dwell times? 👍 Some form of slosh baffles in magazines might help performance as well 🤔

Only GBB rifles I've ever run without issues were the WE G39 (G36), TM MWS, and the GHK AKs (though, they struggle on occasion). Most people's experience is with sub-par WEs.
