Interesting talk! I like the points made about pre-existing conditions impacting on the capacity you have to do the stuff you want and/or need to do. Good also to see (some of) those pre-existing conditions as changeable, hence reduceable (e.g. sleep better to improve recovery). The 64,000 dollar question, though, is: how do you learn to understand your limits so you don't push beyond those while still improving on reducing the pre-existing nasties so that you can increase capacity, but without those 'oh, darn, I shouldn't have done that!' moments of regret?

That's all about working with a coach who can properly assess your current capacity and knows how to adjust accordingly, and thankfully, it doesn't cost $64,000.
