I come back to this every so often to remind myself how amazing it is.

Thanks so much! In the past few months I actually got to meet Adam Scott and talk to him about this song!

@@jordancooperlalala That's awesome, bro! What did he have to say?
@jordancooperlalala Жыл бұрын
@@youdesklamp First thing he did was take out his phone and ask me for a picture which blew my mind, then I got one on my phone too. It's so crazy to me there's a photo of me on Adam Scott's phone. He told me their stomachs were hurting from laughing so hard at the song. He asked me how I made it and was saying how it sounds exactly like various periods of REM. We also talked about what the hell I was doing there (I was a background extra on Severance.) I thanked him a ton for playing my song so much and told him how it has like 12,000 more plays on my Soundcloud than anything else I've made. I also told him I want to get him CDs of my albums but I haven't been able to get that to him yet. It was a really special moment! I have pictures too! I hope to meet him again!

@@jordancooperlalala Holy shit! That's cool. Severance is a great show, what scene were you in? Yeah, it's impressive how well you emulated the style of early REM (it's like Weird Al levels) and I know I can't be alone in agreeing with Scott and Scott on this one! Great work!

My wife and I still sing this everytime anyone mentions R.E.M, it's like tourettes, even after all these years. In fact I can't even think of the band without this coming into my head. Thanks Jordan, thank you for the joy.

I find that for most of the bits on this show, I don't even understand why I laugh at them! I'll try to explain them to someone else and it never works.
@MikeMeehan6 жыл бұрын
i think one part of it is the sincerity of it - Adam's "FEELS GOOD" is so pure! and married with the perfect backing track.

Everything about this show brings me so much genuine joy. Scott and Scott could do a show where they just fuck off and do bits for an hour without even pretending to have an overarching premise, and I'd giggle like a moron every week.

How does this only have 14 (now 15) comments!? Dude, you're a legend. You made a classic REM song without any of the members. First time I heard this on the podcast I was in tears I was laughing so hard.
