I also am on the waitlist for the past year and half. Yup March 2022 and still waiting. Other drivers in my area have applied in the past couple month and are driving. Customer support is not much of a support. Very frustrating.

Not sure if you have done any yet during bad weather like rainy stormy weather, but those are good times if you are willing to do them. Lots of people tip pretty well during those times. Just have to watch out for lightning as the curbside ones they have to wait 20 minutes in between lightning flashes. But they will offer to bring it to the front entrance in a cart if you are willing to load it up yourself. I have done those and can make great money doing that.

Great work! Any guesses on how Spark sets that initial "estimated pay" number that you see before you accept the order? Do you ultimately get that amount, even if the customer tips $0? I assume that Spark number is independent of tip.

Keep both!! Each app has its perks and disadvantages. If you can learn to do both at the same time the sky is the limit!

Hey man - love your videos! What happens on contact deliveries? Does that mean the customer has to sign something, or that they want the order handed to them? Any specifics?

It can be either, depending on what you are delivering the customer may want you to hand it to them. Or if it is alcohol or a package, a customer may have to sign yes.

Also...does the order instruct the shopper whether or not they have to go into the store to shop, or if you just pick up the already-shopped-for order. The instructions clarify this?

Would you take a “SHOPPING order, 3 -5 miles, 10 items for $15? Also, I hardly ever get just pickups, but when I’m waiting for offers I keep seeing the same drivers going back-and-forth multiple times for pick ups. Has anyone noticed this at all?

I've watched a few of your videos now and I've noticed you don't mention MPG. Also if you tell the app your going to be working lets say 3 hours and only want to do 2, can you end early or are there any repercussions?

Great questions. So I get about 20mpg in my car. I’ll put $20 in gas in the car and usually get about $100 per $20. So typically every month if I make $1000 gross income, I average $180 of that is from gas. Also, you can start and end any time you wish. No punishment from turning off the spark program. Hope this helps!

Do you hang out at the Walmart parking waiting for orders to come in? Can you set up direct delosit with your bank?

I do, and you can, but you will have to set it up through either “branch” or bank “One”. Which you can use through Spark.

Question, when you finish a drop off, do you turn off your Sparks app until you get closer to the store for the next order. Cuz I had an ASAP order pop up right after I delivered my last order and I was only 10 minutes away from the store and right as I drove up to the store they canceled it saying it took too long. Any thoughts on this and the best way to handle this?

I leave spark running. Sometimes I’ll get back to back orders while I’m miles away from the store! Rather have that chance than miss it!

In my area they are doing a "pilot program" starting tomorrow thru Sept 19th where they are going to try and give us 3 drop offs at a time. Is that in your area yet? I'm wondering if this means more money per offer.

They launched it in my area and no the base pay isn’t more. I see the same $8-10 base pay for 3 miles for both 2 and 3 deliveries. The only plus is if all 3 customers tip

You can turn it on at home! Though, those with closer proximity to the store will receive the best orders first.

Hi! Yes, it's normal. They move to the Home screen once you accept them. It threw me off when I did it my first time too! 😊

Spark has gotten worse and worse. Been doing it for 2 years, and ever since Covid was over, the offers have gotten less often, and the pay for those offers has gotten worse and worse. Had a sams club offer today that paid $13.92 to drive 33.4 miles.

Yeah the miles ratio I feel they try to throw stuff out there just to see who will bite or if u take a order then cancel all of a sudden the price increases by like 5-6 bucks

No, you can receive them from any where, but Walmart will prioritize the best orders for those who are nearest to the store.

Man I would hope that if I had a $70 order there were a $15 to $20 tip. I’m assuming this is the total that includes the tip. I have never had an order than high!
