This act won FISM in 2015, which is the olympic of magic that only happens once every 3 years. Usually there are 6-7 categories of magic that can be won. This act won general magic that year, the same year that Shin Lim tied his championship with Harret Wu for close up magic, same year Mario Lopez won for micromanagement magic. Eric Chen, Yu Ho Jin, and Shawn Farquhar (two time fooler on fool us) are also all FISM champions. You don’t just win magic’s most prestigious award with a mediocre act, there are many great magicians competing with him but he won for a reason. Having props that help you do magic is one thing. Having the creativity to come up with a brand new act and the sleight of hand that requires to pull it off is what’s important. You can have his coat and his tubes but you won’t be able to perform it without dedication and relentless hard work practicing.

The illusion for you is destroyed before 1:14, even way before ytube i guess. Of course it's coming from his suit and sleeve, where else, but that's not the moment showing it, that's the inner layer of the suit, in your case, watch the next 5sec in same spot and maybe you will notice.

I think if you were sitting in the audience live, it wouldn't look so good with the effects and tricks. You can clearly see how he pulls the sand bars out of his left arm. The falling, floating sand is probably edited for TV, so it won't look like that live in the audience. Please don't always believe this, especially at talent shows that are broadcast on TV. There have been so many fakes.
