The pnly thing i could see i dont like to say mistake but more of an observation , is that no men with bigger calfs the trouser fabric gets stuck there and make the bottons of the truser come up like a bell . This wont happen that mutch withe denim but i formal wear i think its a huge thing to consider
@gentslounge4 жыл бұрын
For sure I always taper from my calf down because my calf is larger. You just need to close it up at the ankle.

Made to measure may be an option to try. You always want your dress pants to sit at your natural waist above your hips.

Great video and nicebelt. With that said, can you please make a video about belts? How you would style different types like leather, canvas, braided, etc. They say it should always match the color of the footwear but I also see that even if sometimes they don't match they still look great. Lastly, can it be below 250usd if possible. Thanks in advance and more power to your channel.
@gentslounge4 жыл бұрын
We can do that! I don't think I own a belt above $250 anymore!

Thanks for showing this. Great video. Do you have any idea why my pants are always bulging in the front? The crotch area. They always do. Even tailored made.
@gentslounge4 жыл бұрын
Might be your butt or waist making them sit a an off angle. Or possibly your posture. If you stand different does it ever go away?
@audunjemtland82874 жыл бұрын
@@gentslounge It helps slightly. Good points. But it's not it. I can see now the fabric runs maybe too far under the seat. It's not close up to the skin. Thanks for answering. So hard to measure and know how to create it perfectly.

Find a pair of pants that fit how you want in the seat and thigh and then taper the calf to how you would like it to fit.

So if your socks show while you're walking then obviously the length is a bit short and you should go a length up in size? 32 waist has been looking a little big on me lately not terrible looking but a bit bigger so wondering if I should try a 31 in length and waist to look more fully fitted.
@gentslounge4 жыл бұрын
If your socks show when you walk you want a slim fit trouser if you like a more straight leg fit go with longer pants. Take you pants to a tailor to get the perfect length for you!
@Manuel4214 жыл бұрын
@@gentslounge Thanks for the advice cant afford a tailor right now so i have to wing it most times I think 31 would be a good middle. When I can afford to I definitely will.
@gentslounge4 жыл бұрын
👌If you buy 1 less pair of pants you can have 4-5 pairs of pants tailored to fit perfect.

I just took my Blazer to the Tailor in Denmark, an avarage tailor.. not particularely famous... 65$ to shorten the sleeves a little, and taper the sleeves slightly o.O
@gentslounge4 жыл бұрын
Blazer costs are usually higher. Its about 15-20 for a hem and a tapers on the pants here but to take in the waist on a blazer is about 20-30 right off the bat
