Look at your demographic between now and just 10 years ago. There, you will find why corruption has increased. It’s not a money issue. It’s a cultural issue. The people you are hiring think it’s ok to bring in contraband. Full stop
@reevs21538 ай бұрын
Ridiculous. The reason prison is so poorly ran is because of austerity. Thousands of experienced screws were laid off and many prisons were privatised and then ran for profit. So new very inexperienced staff were hired at very low levels of wages. This made them open to corruption through naivety and financial temptation. This made prisons more unsafe meaning more prison officers left or began to ring in sick regularly. This means prisons are now often heavily understaffed with zero morale meaning officers dont have the experience, motive or capacity to crackdown on substances.

They all have there own homes, many have businesses if not they work or retired. Even my little cousins that haven’t hit 25 yet have there own homes that was brought buy themselves. I was taking all kinds of drugs, drinking all the time, was a horrible person to be around o can imagine. I was actively looking to commit crimes all day and night long. It wasn’t until my mother passed away that something clicked In my head, in my heart, in my personality and in my conscious and became a completely different person. I agree there are families that just breed criminals and horrible people that will not contribute to society in any way shape or form. The only way to eradicate this is by them to stop mating and producing more of them.

0:02 two seconds in & the answer is the prison officers bringing majority of it in. Thats what happens when you pay people minimum wage for a high risk job
@smith27818 ай бұрын
Sorry but that’s her son’s fault. I’ve seen it first hand they’ll buy drugs and then rely on family members to pay it for them. They know what happens when they can’t pay but they take the risk anyway. As for him saying the officers bringing it to him he knew his mum would ring the prison. He was probably hoping to get transferred or sent to the block. They do anything to get away from them.

I remember going to visit a mate in barlinnie, searched my pockets and looked in mouth - search complete. I couldn't believe how easy it would have been to smuggle drugs. Mate said you could get any drug at anytime in there, he didn't take drugs though. He got moved to Kilmarnock jail i went to see him there, scans, searched, dogs the lot before i got in, totally different. Mate said there was still loads of drugs in there to though
