Was it high level, or did they catch it increasing fast while still in range?

YOU MUST GET AN ULTRASOUND if you have dense breasts. A mammogram does not cut it... The problem is most women don't know if they have dense breasts, and MDs rarely mention it as they don't want to scare their pts. The combo of mammogram+ultrasound would likely push the preventative aspects of breast exams to +60%, which would be amazing, especially because those with dense breasts are often diagnosed at 3rd or 4th stage.

My wife is Asian and nobody mentioned that until after she had a 4.2cm tumor. Then it was shoulder shrugs and she was just unlucky she had the wrong type of tissue.

About a year ago, I had two sets of bloodwork come back right at the line of potential breast cancer. Similar to what is mentioned in this video, I am being monitored, but at this point in time there is no clinical intervention. What I am doing is taking the time to make whatever dietary changes, that could potentially help as well as making sure that my body is strong enough to withstand treatment, in case I ever need it.

@@chriscash782My question too. Pretty aware Dr if she got a CA15 because BRACA gene showed in a genetic test.

@@chriscash782 the first test was a cancer antigen test, although when it came back positive my doctor told me not to panic, that they were lots of things that could trigger a positive. The test after that was a tumor marker. That one was positive, as well.

while it is ideal that breast cancer patient supplement a mammography exam with an MRI, it would cost health insurance way too much. usually mammo exams are coincided with an ultrasound exam. in terms of prostate screening, a ct abd pel w/ iv contrast exam could help. the elephant in the room here is insurance companies and the pharmaceutical industry.

Thanks, great info. PSA velocity mentioned here is new to me. Do you know of any good studies? I’ll search but you seem deep into it.

Can you do an episode on alcohol and cancer risks? So much conflicting information about how much alcohol is “allowed” to maintain a healthy lifestyle especially for women. I’m now reading absolutely no alcohol is safe anymore as it relates to cancer

Isn’t the tumor the symptom? No question it’s important to deal with the tumor. But the cause is every bit as important
