Excellent podcast. The old adage that you "die with prostate cancer not from it" has killed a lot of men!

Screening has also left MANY more men left with urinary incontinence and impotence.

@@2cupojoe136 Your obvious lack of understanding about prostate cancer shows through. PSA screening has harmed no one. The followup biopsies rarely cause concerns. If you honestly believe what you are saying, you won't live long enough with cancer to become impotent.

@@ejtonefan Yes, it has. Out of 1000 men screened ten will be irreversibly harmed and 2 lived will be saved. You don’t understand prostate cancer screening.

I think the more urgent question is; what is the percentage of men that have a genetic mutation in mCRPC?

What's up with the genetic jargon? Why not explain it for non-geneticists? Or leave it out if it isn't necessary. Learn to communicate and stop trying to impress with jargon.

Below the video there is a link to the full episode. Is very long but you can listen fragmented ,when you have time. Also ,you can follow the transcript and learn the name of those molecules. It's good to be informed. Believe me. Learn to know what to ask from your doctors in case of necessity. I am a woman but I like to learn for the sake of the males from my family. Follow my advice and listen to the entire episode which is 3 hours long. Every minute is priceless information.

To add on to what dita posted. At some point. The language is what it is. Either you choose to expand your education or be left in the dark. Yes some things can be broken down in laymen's terms. But ultimately we as citizens have to educate ourselves or rely on people with actual expertise. For example my wife is Ashkenazi Jewish and I am mixed with West African descent. We have children and we want to be as informed as we can be to help them be aware.
