I'm more weirded out by the preceding sentence. "It'd bring your chances to get any of the sweets from 55% to 100%" No matter how many attempts you make, as long as there is no guarantee mechanic, there is ALWAYS a chance to fail all attempts in a row. What probably happened here is that the calculator Johnstone used rounded up, since the probability was likely very close to 100%, considering that the probability was ~55% with only 1/8th of the amount of attempts.

Hey Johnstone, thanks for this video! After only a few short days, I have acquired 10 of every Sweet. Here's some important things I've found: There are at least 3 ways to change the date safely: 1) The Raid Den trick 2) The new Ranked Battle trick, where you play a match (win or lose) and back out. You can then change the date anywhere, even standing inside the Battle Cafe. 3) I have found you can ALSO open Mystery Gift and attempt to enter a code, then back out. You can then change the date inside the Battle Cafe just like method 2. In my playthrough, certain items were given much more often at certain cafes. 1) Strawberry and Berry were more common at Motostoke 2) Love and Berry were more common at Hammerlocke 3) Clover and Flower were more common at Wyndon To strengthen this theory, I noticed: I never got Strawberry outside of Motostoke I only got a Clover outside of Wyndon once, at Hammerlocke I never got a Flower outside of Wyndon Also worth noting, since you don't mention it here, shiny can only be one body color, but has one variant for each Sweet item. I.E. You'd need 5 shiny Milcery to get all currently available forms.

Just to be clear, the shiny Alcremie's color isn't effected by the spin. The only thing that effects her looks is the sweet you give it, so you just need the five Shiny Milcery and the five available sweets if going just for those. A lot faster in theory but odds are odds.

I'm already working on Alcremie, didn't know that the raid trick could also work for the daily event. I'm still gonna wait for the ribbon and star sweet before evolving every Milcery I put on the side in the box for this purpose. About the shiny from I have now about 4 Milcery shiny and just planning on having 8, since the flavour doesn't actually change wheter you do it in a different part of the day or spin, so I'm just doing for each sweet and then an extra 8th Milcery shiny for the livingdex.

Hey, you might have found this out already but... You can finish a rank battle and then after you don’t need to do the den trick, you can simply just go ahead a day anywhere in the game. This means you can try a battle caffe and right in front of the guy, go ahead a day and try again. Since by now your comment was posted 8 hours ago for me, maybe you found this out already.

There is actually a faster way to do this. If you go into ranked battle, find a battle, run from battle, and then advance the date. It gives the same effects as the invite others to raid den. The plus side that makes it faster is you don't have to run back and forth between den and battle cafes you could just battle, change date, and battle again with little to know time lose

Also, if you have a _Let’s Go Pikachu_ save on your Switch, you can get a Gmax Pikachu, which had 6 perfect IVs and is in the Fairy Egg Group. If it’s male, you can use in for Milcery breeding.

If you do a ranked battle and won or lose you can reset the clock without having to go into raids and can do it an unlimited amount of times. Certain actions like Surprise trade or turning off your game will reset this and you'll have to do another ranked battle. This also allows you to do the lotto and Stow-on-side merchants as well. This would likely get patched soon too.

I knocked all 63 out in an afternoon. I was lucky because I did a LOT of Milcery raids back when they had the Milcery with G-max trait available so I had all the sweets and didn't have to grind the Café at all. The stars and ribbons sweets were also dropping from those raid rewards so I'm all done with Alcremie now! (not even gonna try for a shiny, not for now at least lol)

I felt like this would be the best place to put this. For those of you who want to know rougjly how long it aould take to get all shiny alcremie, here's my results. Bear in mind i dont have shiny charm so if you have it less time wouldve been achieved, but i did have the help of four other friends, which helped heaps. Between all of us, we tried having our party consist of five milcery eggs while we were hunting in case one hatched as a shiny, when all the eggs were hatched, we would re-fill from our boxes (each person had around 80 eggs) and keep going. We lost cound of how many encounters but in total: Two hatched from eggs The other 43 were caught somewhere after 6000+ encounters between all 5 of us. Then came the item collection from the battle cafe which i did by myself, the little cheat of moving forward the day using wells ended up making me do 4 hours 46 min to get all the ones i need. In total, do i now have one of the best collections, yes Did i wast a large chunk of my life? Probably but had fun along the way

Just thought you should know this made me wanna get all of them and spent a week resetting a raid den to get all of them haha,, ended up getting more strawberry sweets than I needed - but i got pretty lucky - the den i was resetting was the one in lake of outrage and coincidentally the last reset i did i got a gigantimax charizard after a whole week of resetting,, and that day I got my last sweet- now on to breeding! This was a fun challenge!! My arms and neck hurt from playing so much but I like the sense of accomplishment I'm getting haha - thanks again!

FYI there are only 7 shiny forms. No matter what time of day or how u spin, shiny Milcery always evolves into the same shiny pattern. So there is only one with each sweet.

Well, at 5:47 there's a tiny mistake. Those 24 tries are not the maximum number you could potentially reach with one Switch. It's actually 48 if you own both games. Of, course this method gets debunked later on, but I had to point that out regardless.
