HOW EASILY CAN YOU CATCH EVERY POKEMON IN X/Y?

After attempting to catch every Unova Pokemon in under 24 hours, you all have heavily requested that I take on the challenge in generation 6. After many technical difficulties, we're finally ready to jump into the 3DS era of Pokemon. Today we're going to find out how easily you can catch every Pokemon in Pokemon X and Y. I don't really like them because they make it difficult to be precise. They are slippery, like roller skates. The biggest problem comes from the fact that you are stuck with them. I like using the circle pad, but I don't like the skates. I would've preferred to have an option to turn them off instead of being stuck using the D-pad.

6:45. Ok I know literally 0 people are going to believe me since I have no clout in the speedrun community at all, but I actually came up with that strat! Eekcast who was speedrunning Pokemon X/Y pretty religiously at the time is a friend of mine from back when we were at school. While I was watching his runs I noticed that it could be a potential strategy, so after he reset a run, I asked if he could try it. He tried it and made a HUGE timesave, then later went on to tell other runners about it who ended up implementing it in their runs. It's so cool to hear the strat talked about by a popular KZbinr that I follow!

Agreed. Actually, looking at Gens 6 and 7, while I do love them for what they where they were lackluster in a sense. X and Y's story *really* needed to be fleshed out better and it would have been better than getting that slap in the face Zygarde side quest in S/M and US/UM. That's one thing that has bothered me since completing US/UM. For me, seeing Sina and Dexio show up in Alola along with the Zygarde plot was bizarre and random. Like they where trying to appease pissed off fans, yet it should have been its own game in Kalos.

Well, I spotted two things I wanna add: 1. You get the starter weak to yours after you beat the game as a trade from Shauna. So you don't need to start a-new. 2. Best places to grind in my opinion are the two and three star Cafés in Luminose. You can choose Rotation Battle and just sweep with a high leveled mon, while all of your team gets exp, the two others upfront even full. Other then that, Battle Chateau once you got to the Audino trainers.

Now, as i see this its so sad that Kalos didnt got its Special Version with new Content & Improvements. It was a good Gen & Region, just was lacking of content. And its even more sad, that they didnt implemented the euro tunnel in Gen 8, to visit kalos for a short trip.

When it comes to third games specifically, the fan base is never truly happy. Back when there were always 3rd games, people would complain about them being glorified DLC for the price of a full game. When they cut the third game and put all content into the main two, people complained that there wasn't a third version with more content, and now that they've replaced the third version with actual DLC full of only new content, people are still complaining that there's no third version. ....Although the Sword and Shield DLC sucks so I don't know why they want MORE from that gen.

Pokemon X & Y were my favorite games after Gen 1 and before Gen 8, I had the most time playing with them and loved the concept of Mega Evolution. But to my bitter end, my Pokemon X got stolen. :'( Perhaps I'll buy the games again someday. I have much nostalgic memories with it.

When I first played Pokémon X I didn’t even realize that Lysandre was the villain. Like it’s super obvious in hindsight but I just didn’t clue in to the fact that he’s very clearly evil. And it’s not even that I was surprised when he turned out to be the villain. I remember kinda just going “oh ok” and moving on when it was revealed.

It's too late for John, but to those who want to try it, here is the (slightly) easier way for pokemon amie. The only key is the fancier the macaroon, the more affection is built when eating. Do your best game in amie (I prefer the berry one) to get the fancier macaroons. Feeding one of the highest level (fancy whip cream and has a topping, like cinnamon stick) pretty much gets you 1 heart immediately, 2 more and some petting should get 2 hearts without much trouble. Don't feed your evee before the mini games, it will just waste time.

Kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalos. Man I'm happy to see this video come out. I have a huge soft spot for this region and these games. Incidentally, for grinding, I like to use the Battle Chateau. As your rank there goes up, you'll start to see furisode girls, which have audino. As they become available, the writs (specifically silver, gold, and black) will help change up the trainers more often, make them give out more money, and make their pokemon higher levels, respectively. Anyway, my favorite Kalos starter is froakie. Probably a lot of folks are gonna say that, but whatever. I likes what I likes.

Fennekin is probs my fave Kalos starter simply because it is based on my favorite animal, a fennec fox. On top of that, in RPG games, I really like mages, and it just so happens that its evolution line is in fact based on mages. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk, and keep doing what you're doing, John!

Hey Johnstone, just wanted to leave you a comment as soon as you upload a video so you're more likely to see it. I love your content and discovered you about 3 months ago and you inspired me to take on the Emerald battle frontier. A work in progress😂 currently have no gold symbols and only 4 silver symbols. Anyway just a suggestion for a video i would like to see if your mind ever goes blank would be to conquer the Pokemon World Tournament in BW2. Also i know in Emerald and Platinum/HGSS there is a whole battle frontier but why don't you try conquering the Battle Tower from Pokemon Crystal as that was much harder than the gen 3 and 4 battle towers as the AI was more clever and you had to battle for a lot longer. Also, try beating the trainer tower in FR/LG and try doing the Trainer Hill and Battle Tents in Emerald, as i think all of their different gimmicks would make for a pretty fun video. Last suggestion would be doing collecting all stamps in Alola as getting your trainer passport complete in those games is a freaking nightmare, so i thought it would fit perfectly for you channel. Like your gonna say no to a challenge lol. Anyway, good talking to ya, love your vids. Keep up the good work man. Also do more let's plays, you are really entertaining! Thank you for the content:)

Chespin is my favorite boi. I even shiny hunted him as my starter in my most recent playthrough of X. He was the start of ky best team from Kalos and I love it and I love XY as ky favorite Pokemon games. Even though BW2 were my first Pokemon games (which I sucked at), X and Y were my first Pokemon games where I actually began to understand things a bit more and I was still pretty young at the time. I really connected with Snivy, but I REALLY connected with Chespin.

I love Fennekin because it's a fox, and I've always used Fire starters. But gen 6 had really cool starters. Though Froakie had the best glow-up.

I was working on a full gen 6 national living dex a little while back including mythicals and currently I'm missing Manaphy and Hoopa only. I have all the others from the 2016 events still including a single Volcanion, and I have a mystery Japanese Diance from who knows where. After playing X and Y for like the fourth time I've gotta say I enjoy ORAS much more both story-wise and gameplay-wise, but I just wanna day wow you finished these games fast, a full playthrough of each took me about 11 hours before catching the legendary birds

I really enjoy these videos. Thanks for the amazing videos. These made me want to redo the National dex but with extra challenges on it. I cant get any Pokemon from other players, I have to catch every pokemon in there original region. On top of this I'm going to try to 100% a few specific games then all pf them later. This is going to take awhile since I'm glob to have to wait for money to get emerald this way I can get kyogre and the Regis. The regis are also for regigigas in gen 4. I'm also going to catch multiple of each legendary Pokemon. Then I'm going to shiny hunt Pokemon. So its going to take some time.

The upside of the roller skates is that you can do tricks by jumping off ledges. Other than that, there's nothing positive I can say about them. The upside of the bike is the bike music. Other than that, there's nothing AT ALL I can say about it, other than, "it exists."

Honestly I’ve never played through this game all the way. It was just not fun. But this is the most entertaining video I have ever seen about these games!
