UPDATE: I now have Shiny G-Max Alcremie, thanks to Max Soup, which didn't exist when I first made this video! Reposting this here since people tend to read comments more than the description: I say "Almost" in the title because I still need a Shiny G-Max Alcremie (that I still want to hunt one day), and *technically* there are 63 Shiny Alcremie, not 7, even though every swirl on the shiny looks exactly the same! I doubt I'll ever feel compelled to go for 63 shinies, though, LOL

Funny, 2 days before the Milcery event ended, I was hunting mostly for a shiny gigantamax Toxtricity in raids, with a little Milcery mixed in. Just before 7pm, I ran into instead a shiny gigantamax Milcery, which was caught and named Mika. Since it had just past 7 as I was catching it, I placed a star candy, spun, and got the rainbow form shiny alcremie. After that, I took a break for an hour, came back, and about an hour later found my shiny gigantamax Toxtricity named Roxanne. So, cheers to shiny hunting!

Just a little recommendation for anyone planning to do a milcery hunt on route 4. Catching every other pokemon in the ! Spots and then filling out your recommended list on the pokedex. Whenever you get milcery on the recommended list it shows up a lot more often and is even more common than meowth in my experience. I did this and got milcery first phase.

having just done this using the cram-o-matic, you picked the perfect time to do this. getting every sweet using the cram-o-matic is really hard. the amount of farming for misty seeds from weezing and max raids to get armorite ore to give to digging pa to get watts for wishing pieces was super difficult. it's a fun problem solving thing but doing it in practice is so much luck

They seem down to earth compared to some reactions I've seen, and I'm not saying the more animated ones are fake, but I just find myself relating to a reaction like yours. This is amazing, but good Lord, I don't know if I have the patience for this. It was a whole epic to get all of them! They all look really nice, though. How they move is interesting. It's a bit snail-like. It makes sense because they are creme. I like how Pokemon thinks about these details. I got a slight feeling of uncomfortableness when all the shiny Alcremies were moving around, and it took a couple of seconds for me to realize why. I think it's because I just got finished reading The Broken Earth trilogy, and they reminded me of the stone eaters since they have a lot of grey in them, though not all stone eaters are even grey, but you get my point. They don't even have to be that dangerous, but if you read the books, you know what I'm talking about. It's that human-like movement but not quite human. Anyway, it only took a bit for that to get out of my mind because all Alcremies are super cute :)

Doing this before the Isle of Armor dlc was actual torture. I did more or less this same challenge in my casual playthrough and only got about two thirds of all the forms because the star, ribbon, and heart sweets were just so elusive. After I got the dlc it was easy to finish the collection 🥰

On another note: I know this doesn't have a whole lot to do with the video, but I need some advice and as there was a lot of egg hatching involved here, I thought I'd ask. In 3rd gen (let's say RSE even though Emerald works somewhat differently there) a shiny egg-hunt of Farfetch'd should be possible, right? Because I have never seen a 3rd gen shiny Farfetch'd. And I know it's shiny locked in the trade in FRLG. But you should be able to breed it, right? Is there anything that is noteworthy to consider, other than that the shinyness is determined when you get the egg, not when it hatches?

It's a daunting task and hunt, but it's possible! I've seen a couple people hatch these on Twitter. I've been wanting to take on a 3rd gen egg hunt for a while, actually. There's not much too it, but it might be worth considering taking it on in Emerald, since that game introduced Flame Body/Magma Armor halving the number of steps to hatch the eggs. With that, though, you have to bear Emerald's broken RNG in mind. If you do it in Emerald, I advise hatching a few batches at a time before doing any sort of soft reset to ensure you're not getting the same batch of eggs every reset! Best of luck if you take this on
