How Electronic Expansion Valves Work

This video shows how EEV's or EXV's (Electronic Expansion Valves) work including the Superheat Controller, Pressure Transducer and Temperature Transmitter. They all work together to control Superheat leaving the Evaporator and entering the compressor.

How is heat added to superheat?

When refrigerant reaches it saturated vapor line, any more heat that it absorbs after that is considered Superheat.
