We have been installing 20x25 reheat coils with our geo systems. My question is the placement location from the ahu. If the rh coil is too close to the would that causes to much static pressure at the ahu causing condensation at the ahu?

Not sure we understand the question, but reheat coils can be found at the air handler, especially when using a multi-zone AHU. No matter where the coil is located, it still has a pressure drop caused by the friction of the coils and fins to the air flow. The AHU fan must overcome the static pressure of the reheat coil no matter where it is located, unless there is another fan, as with the use of an induction box.

Thank you for the video. Is there a way to calculate the cv on a chill water valve if it needs to be replaced but the information on the valve is not visible or available?. Thank you

If you can record the GPM or (L/m) at full flow and get the pressure drop across the valve, then you can calculate the cv. The CV = Q x Sq Rt of Specific Gravity of Fluid / Sq Rt Delta P. Check out the Belimo website for more information as they manufacturer control valves. www.belimo.com/us/en_US/

If the requirements for FPI is 10 FPI, but the actual is 11 FPI what is effect for increasing the FPI?

An increase in the FPI can increase the heat transfer area and efficiency but at the expense of static pressure. At some point adding more fins per inch is not beneficial for many reasons including condensate retention, difficulty cleaning between fins, energy impact, higher air side pressure drop. The manufacturers coil selection software should be used to find the best coil for the application.

What's the way to know what hand thr coil is?? Left or right? Did I miss it?

At 5:19 of the video is where we explain how to determine whether the coil is right or left handed. Facing the coil in the direction the air flow is how you determine whether it's right or left handed. Standing in the air stream looking at the coil with the air blowing at the back of your head, the pipe connections will either be on your right or left side.

I think the presentation is about looking at the coil panel. left hand and right hand It's confusing. I think we should look at piping the water inlet. If water enters will understand more

This determines which side of the coil will get the piping connections. The coils are fabricated to point in one direction, so this helps determine where the pipes should be, on the right side or left side. This is determined by the direction of airflow. If you stand with your body and head looking in the direction of the flow of air, as if the air was blowing on the back of your head, then if you want the piping to be on the right side where your right arm is, then its a right-handed coil, otherwise its left-handed. Hope that helps.
