Angels amongst us. As are artists who tell their stories. After the same thing, to improve the condition of being human. You’ve done your part, Mr. Hoffman. Thank you.

Wow this video is loaded with important concepts. Healing is a topic that transcends the superficial divisions we impose upon ourselves. It is knowledge worth expanding all the time, for everyone ❤

This take me back to the mid 2000 were I work with a young gal who was working her way through nursing school as a waitress at the restaurant I was a line cook. The last year of her schooling she had to do her internship at the hospital to receive her RN license. I don't know how she manages dealing with patient for a 6-hour shift at the hospital and then come to the restaurant and have to deal with customers for a 5-hour shift. When the Corona 19 Virus pandemic took off in early 2020, I thought about her and hope she got through it okay. Wherever you are Jannett take care. 🙏

Nursing has the capacity to be very rewarding while still simultaneously draining. It takes a special type of person to be a wonderful nurse. I have witnessed both sides of the spectrum, wonderful nurses, along with not nice ones, perhaps these programs weren't available to help them through their own mental fatigue. Thank you for the heartfelt and descript write up we have come to expect Mr. Hoffman ✨

Sorry my comments aren't very heart worthy due to my negative experiences and I think the truth is very important. Our medical professionals have gone down hill since a few years Before the pandemic. This video reminds me of the 90's when they treated people like human beings.

Yeah. Being in the medical field is emotionally exhausting, but those good people who help those who are hurt are going above to help. Thank you
@tarriegibson119323 күн бұрын
They don't care about your grief or you .Your on your own physically and emotionally and mentally. But this is interesting to see how people they consider human beings are treated differently.

Glad some people get good care cuz I sure didn't and don't in Oregon....It's seriously unbelievable how they can get away with it but they do.

I’d wager PTSD goes hand in hand with emergency care, for both the patient and the provider. Keeping one’s cool in stressful situations is admirable. When the situation ends, everyone eventually must go home. Unfortunately, home is where post-trauma may manifest most negatively.

This was a very good documentary. I wished it was longer. I nor anyone I know has had a traumatic event, never the less it was still intimidating. Thank you for posting.

Thanks! "Avoidence" is true. I watched this video to evaluate posting it in a nursing community and it highlighted something else unexpectedly I am intentionally doing to myself right now because it emotionally upsets me to much to do it. What I am consciously doing is"Avoidance" of a traumatic civil lawsuit I need to do to get compensation from the U.S Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Fund. I have to sue Iran but before I sue Iran I have to get the US federal government to turn over classified documents to a federal judge and they have been extremely difficult for 3+ years. Recently I told myself that I have to put it on the back burner until 2026 so I can fix other areas of my life first, and when I am stable in those areas I can go back to this civil lawsuit/government/Iran nightmare of a nightmare. Getting compensation as a crime victim shouldn't be like this but unfortunately this is the situation. Thanks for making this documentary.

I really Iike this one, David. It's so important that healthcare professionals have empathy for patients and for each other. ER folks have one of the toughest jobs out there. 🩵
@drewpall259823 күн бұрын
@StephanieJeanne...I agree that healthcare professionals need to have good bedside manors. I feel that all ER doctors and nurse should have access to counseling if needed. They have a high stress job never knowing what kind of trauma will come through the emergency doors. 🙏
@StephanieJeanne23 күн бұрын
@drewpall2598 Yes! I would hope that many do have that access, too! 🙏❤️

ER people arent human. they defy a lot of human qualities like comfort zone, laziness, physical exhaustion. at my last involuntary trip to such a fine establishment, a young doctor had a look at me, not older than his mid 20s. he looked like he was about to come undone, to literally fall apart in front of me. i was like, "bro how long have you been working?" ...he looked at me with exhausted but proud eyes..."i shouldve ended my shift like, 8 hours ago." dude was basically almost 40 hours nonstop there. just couldnt hang his literal coat up and call it a day. thats as foolish as much as it commands respect. that goes twice for the nurse staff! these people would die so you dont have to!
