Cartman is also delusional, and seems to think that he can get away with anything. As a kid, he has a lot more wiggle room, but as he grows older that more and more means burning bridges until he's out of options, which is why I think he's homeless.

He is meant to be a trope, not an idol. That kind of narcissistic personality is sure to leave a person with no support circles, no friends, and ultimately no one they can rely on because they're inherently distrustful of others. Success at others' expense can get you what you want in the short term, but the cost of creating so many enemies along the way is a steep price which will leave you empty.
@DainJerRuss3 ай бұрын
@@kastraliss12No I disagree usually narcissists are in friendships or friend groups with other narcissists but usually those friendships or groups are really toxic and basically based off one upping each other and those are definitely the people that see success cause they don’t care about others feeling and only care about important stuff like getting the job done

The thing about Cartman is that he represents the ultimate leech, the type of person who always profits from the misfortune or ignorance of others. Dang, didn't even bring up Crackbaby Basketball. Cartman manipulating his friends, and using innocents who are without a doubt victims, going so far as to call them "slaves" for his financial benefit. Then, when Kyle actually tries to help them, Cartman manages to spin his idea of good intentions into the perfect loophole to get out of legal trouble, and continue his disgusting scheme of pitting innocent children born in horrible situations against each other for his benefit, all while he (and his associates by proxy) is portrayed as a hero. I believe the phrase he uses is "Moral Teflon." Literally describing this originally noble deed devised by Kyle as a plastic covering for what they're doing. He is FULLY aware what he is doing is morally reprehensible and still actively participates in it, and reaps as many hedonistic rewards as he possibly can. And it wasn't even moral superiority or righteous retribution that stopped him, it was someone who is just as corrupt, manipulative, and empty as him stealing the "business."

About the H.I.V episode, while i agree that cartman probably would be the one laughing if the roles were reversed, still don't change the fact that Kyle was pretty much being A hole too in this situation, as a wise man always said "a crime don't justify the other", even if Kyle still wanted to laugh about the situation, he could at LEAST go to somewhere in the school where probably nobody would hear him laughing or start doing it at his own house, but nope, he lower his level to what we expect from Cartman and everyone forgives him anyway, pretty much a case of double standards, even Butters and the other kids who were also victims of Cartman reacted in a more mature way to show you how much they are morally above regardless if it was the intention or not, but kyle reacted to this situation in the most jerk way possible, also he invaded Cartman's house and destroyed his stuff, which is a terrible crime as well, but considering we are talking about the most "moral" person in the show, people act like he did nothing wrong at all.
@KaneA8721 күн бұрын

I know Parker and Stone are amazing at what they do, but given the content of this channel with its very good and well done analysis of well known characters in movies and TV, I can't help Matt Parker and Trey Stone laughing at this video. • "Goddamnit there is no deeper meaning in this book! Read it again!" • "Oh, so you're suggesting that the author just arbitrarily made fun of Sarah Jessica Parker for no reason?" • "Yes!" • "But what would be the point?" • "There is no point! It's just because Sarah Jessica Parker is fuckin' ugly!" • "No writer would take the time to make fun of Sarah Jessica Parker just because they think she's ugly."
