I recently passed my TDI exam, waiting on application approval. Obtained it for the specific reason of selling Medicare Advantage, since I just converted my Plan G to Part C. I live in Arlington, have lived there all my life. I will contact you directly about the opportunity. I believe there's a reason I saw this video, thanks to David.

I constantly have to clean up the mess made by unethical telesales brokers. They lie, illegally cold call and will tell a prospect anything to get them to switch -- almost always to an inferior plan. I welcome the coming CMS crackdown. Third party lead sellers, "live transfers" and out-of-state brokers using phone number spoofing are a large part of the problem.

I know right! I look up some people and see their plan was changed each MONTH!!! I tell them, well what plan did you like? Did you know you are changing each month? Next time someone calls you, just call me and I will look it up for you and see if you should change or stay where you are. I cant figure out how they switch them so much..what sep are they using to even do that...not ok!!!

It is 2023 and this is an even bigger problem. There are hundreds of call centers just recruiting agents to flood the market with agents and convert plans without actually having the knowledge and pushing whatever plan they can. I’ve so many people this year tell me they didn’t even know they signed up for a plan which tells me the call centers are using dirty tactics to push for sales. And it will ruin the rules for the rest of us. Now we have the new 48hr rule which is an effect of call center abuse

@@brocklanders6969 I know it is Horrible I also have a customer care person and follow up, send birthday and holiday cards I do a lot DSNP plans and they will change at a drop of a dime. I am not liking the business much any-more it has been tough 2 years of spending money on leads operations lot of time and no personal income just cash flow for operations and marketing. Lots of BS hyperbole in this business 100,000 a year in gross is about 40,000 after taxes and expenses.

As the Medicare advantage continues to grow supplements will continue to increase in price. The healthy people will take the lost cost advantage and the sickies will stick to the supplements where they have first dollar coverage and unlimited providers.

Great interview. What are your thoughts on the possibility of the DCE program replacing the need for agents in Medicare advantage? Especially since it has already rolled out in the majority of states.

What is DCE?
@Kyngte12 жыл бұрын
I would say don’t worry about it. Doing research on it, it seems like, in exchange for working directly with CMS, the costs will be “higher than expected”. According to their site. So for a business that relies on the best plan for the Best Price, it’ll be hard to replace us agents.

@David ...I'm newly licensed in PA (FINALLY) and I really want to start making CASH IMMEDIATELY 😁and although I want to eventually be indep. in medicare AND final expenses I am thinking that I could start with a health company now (before OE) and learn the ropes -- get my ahip certification for a year and earn enough to buy leads with a years experience. What do you think? I heard you on a video mention 'something' about working with a company...
