Palworld is a pretty insane situation for me. Playing it, I see so much of legends arceus and ark but it also has some features I know Pokemon would be SOOOOO MUCH BETTER with. Despite everything 8 million copies sold in less than 6 days is an amazing feat and is a big sign that there is a market for this. I hope Nintendo looks at this and takes the best parts of Palworld and does something with it. I'm a massive Pokemon fan and if anything a little competition is just what the franchise needed. Coming out of Pokemons poor handling of S/V this was the perfect time for this to happen. Now the ball is in their court. Do they fire back with a banger title? Do they stay complacent? I'd say this makes me even more excited for the next Pokemon game, and the best part? I can play and enjoy both. 2 cakes as they say.

I mean if nintendo could take action they would have. Palworld's first trailer came out 2 years ago, and the company behind it has made heavily inspired nintendo games before. Both companies are even based in Japan so nintendo wouldn't have to deal with the added complexity of international court. The mod that replaced pals with pokemon got slapped by Nintendo in around 8 hours. It's extremely similar, sure, but I highly doubt the designs are similar enough for legal action.

The last mainline Pokémon game sold more than 23 million copies by now. It also reviewed the lowest of any Pokémon game, but Gamefreak doesn’t really have a financial reason to do better, and that’s the part they care about. I have been hearing somewhat idiotic statements from several people claiming "Oh this will be the game that will give Gamefreak competition" or even "Give them a wakeup call for them to do better with their mainline series games". Which really is dumb cause Gamefreak or should I say the Pokemon Company has been at this 3 decades now and other non copypaste games aside from Palworld had done this before and not much has change. Palworld & Pokemon are 2 different aspects that caters for different audinece and Pokemon for intense purpose has done other forms of games that aren't the mainline series and has sold relatively well. Games like Pokken tournament, Pokemon Unite, Pokemon GO and such. Meanwhile Palworld is on Steam/Xbox 1 and does something unordinary that not just combines Pokemon but other media as well like BOTW,a bit of Minecraft & even Fornite all into 1 which is ingenius for what they done. That being the case however this not gonna change anything, and even if tho the people complains about the sorta glitches that S&V has it's still a good game at the end of the day, both of them are. And it annoys me people mindset to that is really rather ridiculous.😮‍💨

It's weird that I've seen more and more of the same snarchy comments acting like being hopeful for competition is dumb and unachievable. You dont have to be a genius to know thats not true. Who would have thought an online bookstore would be putting retail stores across the world out of business. Pal world is the opportunity for better alternatives when other gaming companies see the instant success of Pal world, you will see more and more attempts to recreate it. I wouldn't be surprised if Epic games made a fortnite pokemon clone like they did with forntie lego (minecraft clone). While pokemon has the home court advantage now with its extensive library of monsters, Gamefreak is severely lacking in the other sections in their main line games. Regardless, if pokemon does well branching out with pokken tournament and unite. Their main line games are their flagship products that showcase the new upcoming gens for pokemon and new characters for the anime. They would care if there next game doesnt sell well. Companies freak out if their profits dont exceed 100%. This shit was like 30 dollars while a remake of a more than decade old pokemon that came out 2 years ago is still 70 dollars.
