I love how Tekken 8 is simultaneously the most ready to Turbo Body you and also has one of the most robust "yo here's how you play" systems I've ever seen in a fighting game. The Replay mode will literally tell you "hey here's where you goofed here's how you don't goof"

We say "1" for Left Punch because saying "Square" means nothing to someone who plays with an Xbox or Nintendo controller. It's just a universal and fast way of saying "the left punch button." The only numbers you need to know for notation are 1,2,3,4, as in the four face buttons on any controller, assuming you are using default Tekken controls.
