You are spot on in the end saying nothing went wrong with the car itself before modifications. Sums it all up. Reputed Aussie companies respect the warranty and replace free of cost. I have gone through a few of them.

Hi Great pod thank you. In relation to the LED lighting on your back window. We used 3M double sided tape on our ocean going sail boat. Its been there some 7+ years. Its never moved despite a boats constant moving. Worked for us and it was cheap. Salt etc doesn't effect it either.
@AlwaysTouring10 күн бұрын
Yeah, 3M stuff is pretty good. We haven’t had much luck with that stuff on the canopy though because of the heat

Hi guys, great videos. I also highly recommend the windscreen cover. I did two within a week. Who’d think 😂. Stay safe👍

Truckies often have a deflector on the front of the bonnet to protect their windscreens. I've often wondered if that would be effective on a 4x4 too?

What were your tyre pressures driving offroad and gravel roads?

25 all round 😊

@@AlwaysTouringIt seems your tyre pressures were still too high on corrugations with everything breaking! You might have to 20 next time.

Just seems like the average aussies travelling around issues. To be fair take age of the car ect as well. Id suggest pulling out the 12 volt and carring out a refit. Upgrade the alternator. That way to ensure good powers and earths. Fit a couple of bracket to attach the canopy latch lid to attach a new light. Ps maddy came through very very loud. Good video guys

Excellent Vid of the what can happen and happened to your vehicle. Thanks for showing. Most of it is because of modifications, circumstantial and then user error on other issues, even military vehicles that are set up for war crap out for no reason just travelling around Australia, everything wants you to kill you in OZ, hahaha. Myself, I constantly monitor battery voltage and levels and have a good look around the vehicle on every stop to see if anything is loose/breaking/missing/tyres/fuel/stuff in the car/monitor fridge-freezer. Yep haters are going to hate but as others have said, Maddy doesn't need to shout (yes Maddy is exaggerating her narration, probably enthusiasm....) as it is why you are using mic to record your voice to keep ambient sound down. Top tip have a look at what your level meters are doing on you camera (appears you are using a lavaliere mic) and keep the volume below zero DB to a max of 3 DB on the peak meters depending on how close the mic is. Yep distracting from the otherwise great content.Critique not critism team. Cheers Gaz

@AlwaysTouring 👍🏼👍🏼maybe it's possible to put it on more bolts so they don't undo..

Use the blue loctite , it is not permanent and can be undone easier.

I nearly bought a kings console fridge what a great idea , a guy at work has one recons its great but yer the lid is shit comes off all the time and pissin him off 😢 and then the expensive Chinese made bullbars and things are crap your only paying for a big brand name thats loosing cred fast , atchly theres 2 brands to avoid , i drive around in Isuzu trucks and utes for work they always have issues I'll never take one out bush and rely on it no way guys , and them utes have a flaw in the rear brakes 😮 yep
@AlwaysTouring13 күн бұрын
Yeah the Lid is so annoying haha. So far the Dmax has been extremely reliable , other than the small things we said. What is wrong with the breaks ? It’s my biggest annoyance in the high country, something feels off with them ahah
