Hey Phil!! Love this video. Going to visit Sam tomorrow before my trip with my daughter this Sat on a 6pax on the Intrigue and in 2 weeks, on the liberty! Wouldn't it be better to loop the assist hook to the jig instead of using a split ring with it? Less hassle and less chance of the split ring cutting your assist hook leader
