BKK and KL pricing is more or less the same now,stayed and work in BKK since 2012. Its also depends on where you shop and dine in both cities. I find Jakarta pricing more expensive than kl and bkk if you shop and dine in more of less same mall, resto standards.

You will like Chiang Mai Ben, can’t believe you haven’t been there. It’s a foodie paradise, so many great restaurants, some are very affordable and the choices are amazing. Definitely visit Pai and Chaing Rai too. Beautiful countryside. Oh and checkout Jakarta and Bandung too!

It not correct, There is a lot of local eating in KLCC or othe foodcourt mall. But the person or their family does not eating everyday. I and family will have lunch every early month for pleasure

Stuff in KL are good quality n imported that why people/tourist from either Thailand,Burma,Vietnam,Cambodia n Indonesia consider stuff/ things plus foods are more expensive their own countries...where they currencies lower the our Malaysian Currency.But for the Europeans,Americans,Canadians,Australians.,Japanese,Koreans,TAIWANESE N HONG KONGERS...KL IS absolutely cheaper tough..
