Actually Phuket used to be part of the Malay Kingdom during Malacca sultanate.. until Phuket and the rest of the islands including Langkawi was invaded by the Siamese. Later, it was gazetted by Thailand as part of Siam Kingdom. The Thais were notoriously known to commit genocide and wage war against the Malays back then. For me, I'll always remember what the Thais and Siamese did to my ancestors historically back then, because my family is from southern Thai province. Really good interviews. By the way, don't worry about the Tourist Police as they are just making sure that you are not conducting anything negative. Before and slightly after the Covid era, there were instances where there'd be groups of people in various locations in the city scamming the public of bogus job offers which could have led to human trafficking.

I like it how this guy get things straight to the interviewee like the first guys trying to compare KL with non capital city in China they he straight away cut and make it more reasonable comparison😂 I also aware in other videos the he noticed many of people (if not the most) u saw in KL city isn’t local or natives, many of them are foreigners/hard labour, like workers at mamak, supermarkets, restaurants even fnb and retailing also started to dominated by immigrant so people tend to get confused they are dealing with locals instead of immigrants workers. And most of them live in dorms that located in KL city, that’s why u will find comments from the locals/ tourists that KL are full with immigrants instead of locals.

Malaysia is cheap , KL is expensive but depending which state town etc . Even on KL it’s cheap for them . If you’re a foreigner walking around in public places interviewing the public of course the local police would be suspicious. Respect the local rules , remember that applies in all other countries
@vwchan8412 сағат бұрын
OMG, the people who found Malaysia even remotely expensive need a dose of reality. Malaysia is dirt cheap considering the high level of infrastructure and all. Some place that is cheaper is not necessarily better at all.
@fajarh97910 сағат бұрын
Cheap can mean a lot of thing, affordable could be a better word. Indian are about 6% here as compared to Thailand, their number are too small there to make an impact to their local food.
@arivfotomoto36429 сағат бұрын
Any foreign broadcast company requires an authorisation to film/record in Malaysia (many other countries have the rule as well). When they see a white man with a mic in public, authorities will get suspicious 😅. Youtubing/vlogging is still quite new, there's no clear regulations on it yet(not that I know). Besides KLCC park is privately owned property made open to public. So maybe the security been noticing you and send the tourist police.
