@Jake Mcaulay you could start with one and when one lvl 100 Bongzilla stops being enough, add multiple children of Bongzilla. Maybe name the like Mozilla, Godzilla etc. Fun fact: I tried doing itemless run with two weedles in pokemon red named Mozilla and Godzilla, but sadly my laptop went kaput and I never finished it :( I have to come back to it some day

Didn't know if Weedle could survive Gen 1 explosion from a Golem. I am surprised it did. Beedrill can certainly go further, but not much more. And I. Gen 1, I don't think you will have a manageable team with either Bug or Poison alone, so maybe a mixture is betterit allows you to use Pokémon like Scyther, Gengar and Tentacruel.

You got further than I did. I gave up on the Rival on SS Anne in recording, but I did beat him in my free time, and in my free time I went to Lt. Surge's gym and got stopped by the 2 trainers right at the entrance. Good job on this video, I enjoyed it. Keep up the fantastic work!

Have you tried healing in battle in blue Kaizo? I know it's impossible in the emerald Kaizo, but it definitely is possible in crystal Kaizo (I've seen people heal), so it probably is also possible in blue Kaizo. Also will you try it again with beedrill?

Why not using Struggle instead of Poison Sting? Poison Sting has like 22 power (with STAB) while Struggle has 50. Could’ve made Lt. Surge possible.
