Kars iirc is a few thousand years old, I think older than roshi, and he's been fighting Hamon users for assumedly his entire waking life. On top of that, he's a prodigy, he instantly knew how to control hamon and amplify it hundreds of times more than anyone has ever seen, ki control isn't much different in terms of how it works in their respective series either. Roshi's main mode of combat is just being stronger than someone, like if you compared Bruce Lee to Roshi in an equal stats match up, I wouldn't immediately put my money on roshi because he's used to fighting weaker opponents, even when he fought goku - it wasn't skill that had roshi on the ropes, it was strength. Giving Kars a little time to hone his skills instead of immediately throwing him through time into each fight is essential because he can grow that fast

We dont know how old the hamon technique, but there's a good chance it's as old as the Pillar Men, at most, considering thats why it came to be

Something important to note is that Cars not only can mimic any from of life but what he mimic’s is a version that is 100 times stronger than the original. Such as a 100x powered squirrel, armadillo shells that reflects bullets, and 100x stronger hamon than jojo. Given this power boost, a 100x frieza or buu species would be nuts. And he may even be able to copy ki techniques like he did with Jojo’s hamon.

all these videos on Kars are missing one crucial detail: Pillar men in general have the ability to almost instantly learn and master pretty much anything they chose to learn, stuff like learning a completely new language just by observing it for a bit was a trivial matter for Santana, but Kars takes it to a whole other level, any ability Ultimate Kars choses to master, he masters instantly and on a level that surpasses other masters in that skill by a mile. what this means is that in Dragonball, any ability that can be learned, Kars can learn and master on a level that is without peer (except for maybe the gods and angels) and paired with his immortality Kars could also do other really crazy stuff because of how life force works in dragonball, lastly Kars can also come up with new uses for skill sets he has copied from others, like no human has ever shot a hamon beam before. what this all means is that, soon as Kars becomes aware of Ki, he can do stuff like non-winged flight, using the kikohou without consequence, using the kaioken with multiplier numbers in the thousands without consequence, effortlessly mastering ultra instinct and the list goes on. imprisoning Kars with the mafuba wouldn't work, the move is slow enough for Kars to figure out how it works and teach himself the counter technique when he needs to.

I think MUI requires god ki, which would be significantly harder for Kars to obtain compared to regular ki. And, while he would be able to circumvent the consequences of regular use of Kaioken, it's possible that he'd hit an upper limit where his body simply fails to exert more strength depending on whatever species he chooses to mimic at the time. However, he would most definitely be able to display refinement of ki beyond Roshi's final kamehameha almost immediately, and once he is able to analyze/mimic Saiyan traits, he'd be able to abuse them fully (and it's entirely possible that he'd notice and exploit the compatibility between Saiyan/human blood immediately as well). Once he does eventually get a taste of god ki, however, he'd likely be unstoppable. Thus, the best chance of stopping Kars would be to either seal him or completely eradicate him before he has a chance to discover ki.

@@TheQuestion2.0 Hakai's effectiveness would really boil down to whether or not Kars is exposed to god ki before he encounters Beerus. As soon as Kars is able to use god ki it, he'd likely come up with applications or techniques similar to hakai and would be able to counter it efficiently.

I always thought Kars was the idea of the perfect life form. He has the potential of any life form and more. He can fly like a bird, faster than a bird can (faster than a biplane for example). He can create a shell that is stronger than any creature able to withstand lava. He can utilize Hamon hundreds of time stronger than a human can. He doesn’t literally turn into a bird, he can become or create a super bird with everything that is perfectly biologically capable. So, given that Kars is the perfect being Kars has access to, he can create a super bird with the biologically strength and power of Kars but the perfect extreme of what makes bird a bird. He has the potential maximum perfected power and capabilities of any lifeform. I think this means that, if Kars were from the Dragon Ball Universe, he wouldn’t just be a Saiyan. He’d be the Perfect Saiyan (a la a super mega Broly), or a perfect Frieza. Or a Perfect Beerus, or a Perfect Whis. Everything that creature is, but greater and to its full potential. A peak Saiyan. The perfect life-form, the potential to be any lifeform yes, but also to be the perfect lifeform beyond that. Given that Hamon isn’t natural to humans, and is also a skill like Ki power levels and requires training; Kars would beat anyone in Dragonball in terms of raw power in terms of his immediate potential. He would immediately dwarf anyone he fought in terms of raw Ki output and power behind his attacks. Anything a Saiyan can potentially be, he has access to. He now has access to transformations and ki, but he’s the perfect Saiyan, more than a Saiyan. His natural ability to manipulate Ki would be immense, and thanks to his immense intellect it wouldn’t take him long to learn how to utilize it skillfully. Think Broly how this fight would go down IMO. An overbearing wellspring of raw power, but completely unrefined. For now. Instantly copy kamehameha for example. Instantly learn to deflect shots. He’s the greatest potential of a life form. So IMO, he’s as strong as the greatest a Saiyan can be, but even more. As far as we’re aware, Saiyan don’t really have limits. They can just keep multiplying strength. Kars wouldnt for example, have immediate access to perfected UI Goku because it’s a technique based on knowledge, not power. But the raw and perfected ki output Goku could output, Kars could output even more. Kars is the potential of life, perfected. The perfect life organism. He’s kinda nuts tbh.

Also not sure why you used dbs master roshi specifically most db characters have a passive ki shield so kars couldn’t use his absorbtion hax on them (which is like his only viable wincon without having extreme speculation on any sort of other biological based hax attacks he might be able to do like creating a supervirus) even if you give the higher end of his combat speed scaling (mftl+ massively upscaling from part 3 DIO who can react and block highballed* mftl+ attacks) to his travel speed and lowball early dbz characters (who already who already easily outclass kars in ap and dura) to like only ftl they should still eventually stomp. Also when people are talking about Kars having the db earth’s lifeforms they’re most likely talking about both verses being equalized so Kars has some amount of ki to start with as well, which is an entirely different conversation that drives into wild speculation.

The chain of scaling goes like this, DIO from part 3 with no assistance from The World can deflect the emerald splash casually which gave Star Platinum trouble and also overwhelms SP in the road roller clash. DIO is confirmed to not be at his peak self compared to how he was in part 1 in terms of regenerative capabilities, this most likely extends to his vampiric abilities, for example his greatest lifting feat in part 3 is moving the road roller, but that lifting feat is consistently outscaled by Tarkus (Dio’s subordinate in p1 who he outscales in that part) who lifts a massive piece of earth with a single finger, so part 1 Dio should be relative to or greater than part 3 DIO in speed. Kars is narratively above any vampire and Ultimate Kars is above that by orders of magnitude more which would include combat speed. 3. I never talked about him absorbing energy in my comment? Unless you’re talking about his cellular absorption hax I was referencing, which negates conventional durability to a certain extent. 4. I never said he would, I in fact went out of my way to say that I don’t consider it a viable wincon because it’s entirely speculative. 5. I don’t think you understand what I said here. If Ultimate Kars doesn't get instantly atomized or sealed into a rice cooker, he would quickly acclimate to the power system of Ki, and he would rapidly become one of the most powerful beings in DBZ. If he got access to DNA from Saiyans, Namekians, Frieza's race or any of the other aliens in Dragon Ball, he would also assimilate those races' inherent traits and use them to his full advantage. I don't think he could copy Majin Buu (as Buu as a being is magical in nature and may not necessarily have DNA to copy), but he might just take out everyone before that's even a concern.

Anyone who says Kars can only replicate species of earth is talking out of their ass tbh. Kars is only limited to mimicking every creature on earth because he shared a common origin with all life on earth. If he were able to get his hands on Saiyan DNA, break it down, and analyze it, there's no reason why he shouldn't be able to reconstruct himself as a pseudo-Saiyan (keep in mind Kars never perfectly replicates anything, as he is able to make all his copies are superior to the originals. He could be a Saiyan with his own Pillarman traits for example). Of course, he'd still have to encounter and potentially absorb some Saiyan DNA, but he shouldn't have a harder time breaking down and rebuilding that DNA than Santana did with a gun.

Future Trunks would be the next opportunity I think. Massive power gap and FT has a track record of evaporating enemies.But outside these events and the Mafuba the odds of a permanent win are pretty low going by Dragonball canonical behavior of characters. So I would say 50/50 he would be a good Movie villain to get rid of with the Mafuba.

There are a few things that one needs to consider when it comes to Kars in a universe such as Dragon Ball. The first is that Kars' abilities center around biology 90% of the time. The second is that the Dragon Ball universe centers its powerscaling not on biology, but of spirituality through the use of Ki. Ki tends to be the big factor as to how powerful an entity can be, with most alien races being unable to willingly alter their ki output unlike the Z Fighters (mostly because most alien races don't really understand how ki works above the measurable output). Sure, biology plays a part in it, and special physical traits can be greatly enhanced, but they largely dictated by ki output. This is why Goku, whom has tangoed with physical gods that can destroy a planet by giving it a gentle tap, can still be hurt by common bullets if his guard (his ki) isn't up. Kars COULD learn how to manipulate Ki, but it would come down to how much his body is able to compensate for the excess amount of energy (humans, after all, have a certain soft cap, shown through Krillin), and would come down to how fast he could improve as the fight goes on. Personally, I think he could reach the end of the Frieza Saga (if he learned how ki works), but would eventually be utterly destroyed by Frieza himself by his own constantly (and rapidly) changing body that comes with MASSIVE Ki increases.

The ironic thing is, Kars getting through the Pilaf saga wouldn't be very straight forward. I still think he would win, but it would require some shenanigans for him to take apart/wiggle his way into their mechs, and there is also a discussion about how long it would take for Kars to make it past the traps in Pilaf's castle. The 21st world martial arts characters easily have the power, speed, and skill to easily handle Kars, but that isn't a lethal tournament, so no one is going to disintegrate his body at that point. It is a legitimately discussion about whether he would beat the Red Ribbon arc. Don't get me wrong, we have seen him handle armies before, but this army has far more troops that what Kars has handled at any one time, androids that are far more powerful than the cyborg in Jojo's (major metallitron would probably be able to handle Kars, in all likelihood.), and tanks/mechs that are minimum capable of firing off ordinances that can destroy mountains (which utterly outclasses even the most powerful things in that arc of Jojo's). But once we get to the King Piccolo arc, its really not a question anymore. These guys casually overpower dudes that can vaporize the moon, which is massive overkill to wipe Kars out. The only way he is surviving this arc, is essentially he hopes that they don't use excessive force killing him instantly, then plays dead. That said, we must wank Kars in order to get all the way to the end of the Cell saga, where he loses for this reason. Kars may be the ultimate lifeform, but Cell is perfect. He is obviously not actually making it that far, but I wanted to make the comparison, just because. :)

He would most likely absorb King Piccolo, face kid Goku, and Goku with no choice would send him into space. Gero after getting that info would get Kars, body, and would use him to form his androids basically making androids that are just like Justice League unlimited Amazo, but they are able to spread it like the doomsday virus.

If Kars didn't grow he'd be Demon King Piccolo level. However if he got his hands on someone like Raditz early on and absorbed him... he'd unlock not just Ki, but understand Saiyan biology, he'd be smart enough to understand the dormant powers, potentual, and with his own regeneration and the Zenkai Boost he'd be able to 'Cheat Zenkai' himself by intentionally inflicting insane amounts of damage on himself for the purpose of intentional biological fortification. He also has insane battle IQ. Meaning he would have the potential to become FAR worse than Cell. Imagine this, Cell needs the Androids to finish himself. Kars simply needs more biological variety and to be introduced to new power types. Imagine for example if he absorbed Raditz, faked his own fall before Nappa and absorbed Nappa and intentionally took critical damage frequently to max out his Zenkai Boost. And casually later descovering the passive, latent abilities of the Super Saiyan. Combined with his own genetic open body, genetic consumption the ability to survive in space now for limited times like a saiyan along with the ability to fly, use Ki in addition to Hamon. I believe Kars biggest danger factor in Dragon Ball is his ability to snowball. Heaven Forbid he manage to absorb even a small part of Frieza like a cut off tail in addition to what he stole from absorbing Saiyan genetics.

So, first of all, base Kars did literally move faster than Stroheim's laser. And for that matter pre-training arc Joseph and Caesar moved faster than a laser from the Red Stone of Aja. Not to mention all the other FTL scaling from later JoJo's. Dragon Ball power levels get completely jacked between the 21st and 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai, and even Ultimate Lifeform Kars is very much closer to the standard of the 21st. Touch attacks are also very unreliable in Dragon Ball once ki cloaks start appearing, though before Gohan vs Raditz Roshi's first Kamehameha is the only example. Still worth bearing in mind how Kars' strategies would have to change. Finally, Stands, which can get exceptionally BS. Any skill of supernatural provenance has an associated Stand. Hermit Purple is the Ripple's Stand, Ball Breaker is the Super Spin's, and Pillar Man Modes (to include the Requiem Stand that is the Ultimate Lifeform) are derived from acupuncture. These "Skill Stands" are almost 8% of all Stands in JoJo's, and so as Kars uses his 400 IQ to master all things in his quest for knowledge, his toolkit will expand dramatically. Most of these aren't very scary by Dragon Ball standards, but Ball Breaker is infinitely powerful (and something Kars already has good foundations for, with his familiarity with Wammu's Divine Sandstorm), which would actually make his attack power greater than the Grand Priest and equal to Zeno. And that's before we get into speculation as to what the Stands of Ki and Magic would be. And finally, it should be acknowledged that Kars' scariest ability aside from his learning potential is the ability to bud off clones of himself. This seems to take long enough to do properly that he couldn't create permanent clones against Joseph (though he created a ton of temporary clones), but if he can stay alive long enough and avoid the planet getting exploded it very quickly becomes a key form of insurance against destruction by stronger opponents.

Can Kars get far on Dragon Ball? If his start point was early enough in the franchise, then yes. He absorbs humans with ki, his potential would probably be SSJ2ish like Krillin in DBS. He absorbs Namekians, his potential becomes orange piccolo. He absorbs Saiyans, his potential goes to SSJ4 or Broly’s Super Saiyan Ikari mix. (Assuming he encounters no go ki) He finds Frieza at any of those points and becomes as strong as Black Frieza minimum. Buu would never get revived(Kars probably ate Babidi long before the events of the Buu saga along with all of Frieza’s army and randos) Even if Buu did revive, Kars gets that DNA and probably doesn’t even need to alter his DNA to benefit from all the other DNA he absorbed. Beerus shows up. If the Beerus ceiling is higher than Buu with SSJ4, Orange Piccolo, and Black Frieza forms embedded into his DNA, then I can finally understand the complaints of Beerus being an ever moving ceiling of power.
