@@PizzaBoi5194 HM Mules are standard for all solo runs. The few Pokemon that can learn all the necessary HMs to get through the game don't want to be saddled with bad HM moves instead of actually good moves. Even this run uses mules.

STAB's a 50% boost on Ice Beam's 95 power, making it 137.5 power vs Water Pulse's 60x2. Probably would have comfortably gotten you out of those ranges with Charizard and such.

Ice beam is stronger on Charizard than Water pulse after STAB. Any STAB 81 BP or higher is stronger than any move that is 60 BP and Super effective (As long they are both physical or special.). Ice beam is 95 in Gen 3, 95 x 1.5 = 142.5. Water Pulse is 60 BP x 2 = 120. If it was for PP wise, okay, but most of the time Water pulse was the weaker option and a lot of those ranges could've have been avoided

I feel like it would be cool to see how each box legendary does in their respective game. Obviously each cover mon is made with their gen in mind, but most of the legendaries aren't obtainable until late game and are usually balanced with such a thing in mind. So I'd love to see how well these mons do in their own games from the start. (Eg Yveltal in Y, Groudon in Ruby, etc. For remakes like HGSS and ORAS, you use the og games if you can)

Wouldn't that Legendary challenge be a Deathless Solorun rather than a Nuzlocke? Nuzlocke ends when you run out of living Pokemon, but if you die you reset to last save.

While that is a legitimate interpretation of the nutzlocke rules, most people (especially when doing hardcore nutzlockes) consider a whiteout the end, even if you have mons left in the box. With the most important rule being: play the game the way you enjoy it this would be up to him, but with using only one pokemon you are right, no matter the interpretation/chosen rules, it would be the same in this scenario 😀

"Team" nutzlocke challenges. The Trios of gen 1 - 3 (birds, digs regies) play as teams vs the others in a hardcore nutzlocke in all respective gens (gen 1 and 2 would have to be the remakes, obviously). This way it isn't just about one type being superior and it would be interesting to see if they perform differently in different gens. Regies (obviously) need an altered starting moveset.

@@ChaoticMeatballTV First and foremost, thank you for taking the time and actual care to respond to my comment, I really appreciate that and it's one of the reasons you are one of my favorite KZbinrs. But the part one of Oak's HG/SS Pokewalker Challenge premiered July 15, 2020 (almost two years ago now), and it was so epic and awesome and I've literally hope every time video you post since then that it's the followup:( HG/SS are my favorite gens ever, and you doing them makes it so much better. Also, I think that video did really well for you and almost has 2 million views and 35K+ likes, so there's also the benefit of the followup being another great hit. I know you are super busy now with having to put out consistent content on a more frequent basis, but please consider trying to make time to go back to that one. Also, on another note, a hardcore nuzlocke on the HS/SS gen where you beat the Elite Four a second time after they get stronger, and then face Red, would be awesome. Most nuzlockers on that gen stop after the first Elite Four, and no one attempts it again the second time once they get beefed up. I think that would make a great and more original video that lots of nuzlocker fans would enjoy watching. Anyways, thank you for taking the time and care to read and respond to my comment.
