But also there was a super-heroic vibe to it, trying to zip to a crime as quickly as possible. In this game, while you can choose not to use the wingsuit if you want to enjoy webswinging, you're deliberately opting for a less efficient means to get to the battle. So it cheapens the whole immersive experience.

You show a lot of skill and bravo to that. As to the game itself, yeah... I didn't like the new wingsuit mechanic. It made sense to add it, given that the world increased in size by 40%. But Spider-Man is famous for swinging around the city. That's his shtick. His thing. In Marvel's Spider-Man 2, swinging is the path of most resistance. You're better off wing-suiting everywhere using wind currents and traversal powers to keep the glide going. You'll get everywhere faster and with less hassle. Kind of kills the vibe. Oh sure, I could ignore the wingsuit and swing everywhere... but who is going to do that when something so convenient and easy is within arm's reach? Eh. Again though, bravo to you. You really do make the whole trip look very smooth.

As someone who will never play this game and doesn't know enough about Klyntar in general, is there some explanation provided for how the Symbiote enables Peter to just straight-up... defy physics? I mean, he is literally propelling himself of off nothing for half the video. I expected some zipping and gliding shenanigans for sure, but my boy is actually just literally flying using two combined power sets, neither of which are, to my knowledge, capable of flight. Did I miss something?

The game gives the player the option to use quite a few mechanics to keep him in the air. It can be as “realistic” as you want it for a Spider Man game or you can use boost abilities, slipstreams and other stuff. That said, he optimized his run here, I don’t know how he’s resetting the cooldown on the boost abilities.

Neat trick I learned from a speedrunner. Click square to front flip while at the same time tapping triangle to take out the wings. Look I know it’s cheesy but at this point we a year into the game I’m just having fun man.

Your abilities recharge twice as fast while doing the air tricks, so you can dash forward and upward in half the time but you don’t have surge for that long. It’s basically good for a head start on momentum, but I don’t do it that much bcuz you move fast anyway without it.

You basically tap triangle to take out the web wings, while at the same time tapping square to front flip. You tap them at the same time, learned that from a speed runner and thought it was cool. One extra thing is that it doesn’t really work as well with miles just fyi.
